Hi guys! Congrats on everyone's approvals and case numbers and interview dates!
 
I have a silly question I believe, my apologies in advance. I was just curious about the NVC received dates; do you find out about these when you call or is there a different way? Just got really confused and I'm wondering if I've missed something...

There is no sleeping during this process!!!!

Right now and after 5:00 EST is the best time to call to get right through.  Why wait?

As far as what I have observed most of us did find out our NVC received dates by calling. When you get in contact with the NVC and once it gets reflected from their system, the agent will tell you "We received your case last......."

I loled at this, but at the same time it made me extremely sad.

How are there gonna be approvals if USCIS is not even open yet?
One of the people who knows most about the process and helps out literally EVERYONE on the forum just told you that there's no need for sad faces yet as there can't be any approvals at 6:30 in the morning. No snarkiness or anything, just giving information so your comment wouldn't upset other people who come here and don't know they're not even open yet.
 
Also, this time last Monday, and even this time last Tuesday, there were no updates at all because Monday was a holiday. And this time any other day, we get full day scans from the day before, which we don't have today, as yesterday was a Sunday.
 
Again, not trying to be mean or anything, I just don't understand why come here and be all negative.
 
 
I'm hoping we all get some great news this week guys, stay strong!  

Guys we are all frustrated and anxious and all emotions mixed up, but let's all (this includes me obviously) try to read things positively.
I don't think anyone (apart from some magical trolls pushing magic up my approving butt apparently) wants to make anyone sad...

I want September to start, yes not going to deny, but I also want August to go full power first!!!!
 
I'll be putting the scan around 12:30 Cali time.
However last week Monday was a holiday and first day of the week  did not really got any approvals, so do not worry if we don't get many today!
 
BUT check those mailboxes!! If it says 1/1 page most likely and approval knocking your door!!!

Well that's terrifying.
We originally sent our petition on June 1, and weren't sure if it would make it on time as it was the old form. That, as it turns out, was the least of our problems, as the entire package got lost somewhere and is still travelling around the States I guess. Oh well.  
 
 

That is what I thought too. I’m a June 6 filer and nine June 6 filers were rejected because of the form. I assume the date had some float. 

Wow. I have to ask, how did you acquire all this information? Hopefully not by checking case statuses one by one  
 
So does this mean there's already approvals and RFE's for August? I feel like this confused me more than anything else I've ever read on the K1...  
 

Yea, I've noticed... It looks like they should be done with April soon though, and last year in September and October approvals took waaaaayyyy less, so I'm hoping they'll catch up!  
 
We'll see how it goes. I'm still hoping for December!

I'm an August filer, but I'm really curious about the whole process. Since April 27 got approved the other day, I thought maybe they started working on some May petitions already.

I'm an August 2017 filer (I know, still very far from my approval...), and well, I did a lot of research, let's say, about the processing times for the K1 and all that. What I've noticed is that in October last year it took around 42 days on average for approval, while in November it took more than twice as long on average (94 I believe, according to VJ). Since that's quite a bit of a difference, I was wondering if anyone on here knows what caused the delay? I'm just super curious, especially since approvals lately seem to take longer and longer. Thank you in advance!
