Thanks, I had to call them to get that. Ask to speak with a Tier 2 officer when you call. We have not received the letter yet.

Oh man, than that means I'm far from getting the interview hahah... I actually called them when i got the update and a few times after that and talked to a Tier 2 and they all said that there are no new updates on my case :(

My last attempt was this week. I am going on an international trip and already used my AP once but wanted to check with them if it's still okay to use it again (it is, but it was just an excuse to ask about the GC case haha), and with the Tier 2 officer I brought up if there are any updates on my case and he said they are still waiting to schedule my interview :(

Did you ask if there are any updates on your case or did you bring up the glitch in the website?

Hello do you think your interview will be scheduled soon? Though not  expecting anything soon, mine says USCIS can not provide me with information for my case. It’s been on ready to be scheduled for interview since August last year.

I have no idea, to be honest :( Mine is the same as yours, ready to be scheduled since August, but USCIS does not provide any information than what we can find on the website. I am seeing a lot of filers getting their interview when they hit their 1 year mark, so maybe we get that letter in June, perhaps? :) (wishful thinking)

What's funny is that I thought after waiting for my EAD and AP, the wait for the GC interview was going to be a breeze. I even thought 'Oh, now that it took long to receive them, I might get the GC in, like, January or something' :(

I think you will hear something soon. It felt that way for us too.

Thank you so much! You also had the glitch in your USCIS update? :)

Non for me yet.  Since September 6/2017 my file has said ready to book an interview. but nothing and then the past month or so this has been posted. At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information.

I phoned this number and they said it was a glitch but nothing has changed.  When I phoned in to listen to the message on where my application is at it say ready to book an interview..

It does the same for me :( Funnily enough, everyone I know so far who's had this glitch were also with the 'Ready For Interview' status, so that gave me a bit of hope, but it has been this way for me for about a month :(

Yep. Still waiting. LA County. Case inquiry is at December 2015 so got another 2 1/2 years before I can even make an inquiry. About to renew my EAD and AP.

Yeah, SFV is all the way back in 2016 :(

I was going to renew my AP, but I have a trip coming up soon and will do it when i come back. Hopefully it won't take too long like last time. It's getting so frustrating.

Yup, my date is July 21, got an RFE, and “ready to schedule your interview” since Sept 21. I’m in Seattle.

High-Five friend!! Hahaha Hopefully we will get ours soon! Mine is in San Fernando Valley in California and is so freaking slow. Also, VJ doesnt even have it listed in the Office list so I don't really have an idea of how the process is going for other people :(

    Hang in there friend! <3

I actually didn't receive the letter, I called USCIS to inquire about whether or not I would need a new medical and they told me on the phone that I was scheduled for the 26th June. The guy said I should get the letter this week.

This is really great! I'm also worried about my medical because I didn't send it with my packet in July. So the same happened to you? You called to inquire and they informed you that? :)

I went last week to my lawyer's office to fill out the renewal for EAD and AP... Maybe next week i receive the NOAs

My card expires in 4 months

Thank you! Let us know how the process goes for you :) I will set my AP to renew in July, because I have a trip coming up in June, so I'll be able to do it 90 days prior to expiring. Just hope I get my interview by then, or that it won't take too long to get the AP like it was last time :(

I have the same status today.. Yesterday I was still able to view the last status I received in Oct 18 which is "My case is ready to schedule for an interview". Well I hope good news will be the next after they update the site.😀.. Let's cross our fingers!!

And @Greencard188 : have this message change for you guys or is it still the same?

I just now received an email saying “we are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this point” - #######! 😂 I got my interview date in the mail like a week ago.

It was possibly a glitch. You should call USCIS to confirm (if you havent already :) ) their website has been kinda glitchy lately and also, the updates online sometimes take days before it catches up with what is really happening hahaha... I had gotten my EAD card in the mail and 2 weeks later I got the update on my case that 'My case had been approved' hahaha

Hey guys, so I just got an email notification that our case has been scheduled for an interview! Don't know the date or time - I'm guessing that'll reach us by physical mail.

BUT when I logged in, it says "Employment-Based Interview Was Scheduled"  :o  instead of marriage-based.... Should we be worried?? Did anyone else get this mix-up??

    AHHHHHH SUPER CONGRATS!!!!

Any of you guys can check the i485 status on USCIS site. When I checked mine it says"At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC for additional information."?

the last time I checked my status was on Friday and it was still ready being scheduled for interview.

Does this mean they have scheduled my interview, and the mail is on the way?

I'm afraid that I have missed my interview without any notification from them...

Hi! I also got this update on my case. I actually got the notification on the app and thought for a fleeting moment that they had scheduled my interview but my heart sank when I saw this message. I called the number and they said there hasn't been any updates on my case and I received this message because USCIS has been going through updates and we might have received that as an error. Although I do have a small hope that maybe this message it is actually an update toward the case. Let's hope!

I checked  my online status and it says :

    CASE STATUS

At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

Something wrong with website or what. Anyone had the same problem?

I got the same thing! I actually, for a fleeting moment, thought it was an update with the interview schedule or something but my heart sank when I saw this message. I'm hoping it's just a glitch or something.

Hello dear Aug filers, it's very early but I happened to wake up very early and decided to check my phone. The long-awaited combo card approval has finally happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dancing:

Some nitty-gritty details to help others still waiting:

We got an RFIE on Feb 1 and we didn't send our response to it until March. Our online status updated on March 19 to say USCIS received it. We were busy until the end of the month. On March 30, I contacted the ombudsman. I think this was crucial. After they sent their confirmation email to me, I replied to that email to say that I've been waiting eight months already, the lack of an EAD was preventing me and my husband from doing certain things (like me getting a driver's license and whatnot). If you contact the ombudsman, don't be afraid to emphasize how DIRE IT IS you get the EAD!! Be specific and be a little dramatic, okay?

Then on April 2, I ALSO contacted my senator. This was my second email to her. The first time was in January. It was shortly after my first email to her that we received the RFIE update. So I figured it wouldn't hurt to let her office know too. Then I called the ombudsman's office and the man on duty told me my case was being assigned to an analyst that day. I said, "Okay thanks, I've just been waiting a long time."

Fast-forward through an agonizingly stressful two weeks due to low finances and regularly scheduled bouts of anxiety and I finally received the approval update.

Don't be afraid to be noisy about your case at this point if you still don't have the EAD!!!! Still keeping my fingers and toes crossed for everyone.

    Super congrats!!

My wife and I have actually made an infopass appointment just to check up on our i-485 status (Our case has been 'ready to be scheduled for an interview' since August). Upon inquiring about our i-485 status to the immigration officer, the officer literally just looked in the system and gave us a generic answer saying that our interview is ready to be scheduled and to just be patient. I'd say it's not worth the hassle at all. Just my thoughts.

Oh my! That is definitely not worth the hassle at all! Have you tried talking to a Tier 2 officer about it?

I am just going to ride it out. I found out that they have our case but has not be assigned to an officer yet. I am not going to stress all about it and let them take their time. As long as I have my Employment and AP card, it's all good, for now.

Yeah :) Just worried about having to go through the process of renewing my AP and EAD, but I agree, it's just a matter of patience. :)

A friend whose case was received July 3rd 2017, received an update on his I-485 on the April 6th that he has been scheduled for an interview and should wait for his letter in the Mail. He's in Santa Ana field office, California

Santa Ana's processing times are a slightly shorter than SFV but still, this is good indication that they are working on 2017 cases and not focuses on 2016 ones :)

It says the USCIS website up to 180 days before the current one expires and it’s not recommended to do it more than 180 days before. That’s why we put ours in now :)

Hi, I'm reading this thread and this is really good info! With the new updated processing times, I'm seriously thinking about renewal for my AP and my EAD, better safe than sorry haha

Did you send to the same address we send the AoS packet?

Thank you so much and hopefully you'll get that interview letter soon!

Yeah, I am in San Fernando Valley, CA. Estimate range is 10.5 to 25.5 months from date USCIS received the case. Meaning, 50% will be approved within the 10.5 months and 93% will be approved by the 25.5 months.

Our case was mailed on 5/31/2017 and was received on 6/14/2017. We are in the 9.5-month range. We will wait and see.

Been trying to schedule INFO PASS appointment but keep getting "none available for next 14 days, try again tomorrow"

What gets me is many I-485 cases were approved in less than 6 months and received their green card in Los Angeles area with later dates than ours.

Glad to see someone else from SFV... I'm a bit nervous as well. Filed in July 2017 and have been ready to be scheduled for an interview since August and when I saw the processing times I almost choked. I'm on the 9 month period of waiting.

I'm also trying to schedule an Infopass but the USCIS website is not letting me. I wonder if it will help at all with getting answers on the case :(
