We got an email, but it wasn’t even helpful, I mean 7 months after and they’re still waiting for our background check? Sounds like BS and there’s nothing we can do about it. Let’s hope yours goes on another direction!

July 28th filer here. I did not ask my fiancé to call USCIS about our case status, ever. I thought that since more than enough people are calling already, I would just send an online inquiry; this service is available on the USCIS egov website.
 
I inquired on February 15th, I believe that was Day 2 after the processing time changed from 28th June to 1st August on the USCIS website.
 
I received an automated reply that I can expect a reply by 10th March.
 
It is 19th February (yes, PRESIDENTS' DAY) and I have received an e-mail reply confirming that our K1 petition has been APPROVED on 16th February and that we should receive our mail within 14 days and to contact USCIS if we did not receive the mail.
 
I never did call/harass USCIS. NO online update. NO informed delivery by USPS despite being 4 days since approval -- honestly, I believe it takes an average of 5-7 working days for the approval to reach anywhere, so no frustration there.
 
I am writing this post to detail how I receive my notification in hopes that if some people are looking for an alternative to calling USCIS over and over, they could try it the way I did.
 
To all who have not received notice, I wish you all the best. I hope you receive your approval. I'm as certain as those before me that yours are on the way, just like ours.

Hello Everybody, 
I am new in this forum but I was following for a month. Our case was July 27 and just checked the mailbox. Yes, it was approved and NOA2 was delivered on Saturday, 17th. I hope all you get your approvals soon. I know how hard it is but the best thing in the US is working systems, slow or fast. I will update the status in this journey.

July 28 filer here, we just got our noa2 in the mail today no updates in website! We were approved feb 13.

Yes you need to search your distt congressman go to his office fill the form n write your story n file it.. they will give you reply in 7 days either they take your case or reject it. Then case will start

Day 227 - No update on the website, or app......But we got our APPROVAL Arrived in the mail today - Looks like it was dated Feb 13th - FINALLY!!! Now onto the next wait

I think i am going thro same thing..

My fiance just talked to tier2. He said our case is processing which I dont know what exactly means. Does it mean our case is in line and earlier filers are ahead of us? Who knows...😓
Everybody is asking about calling NVC and interview but we are still talking about tier1-2,...😞

Thank God. I got an email from my lawyer telling me that he received NOC2 but for some reason USCIS's website is not updated and my fiancé has not received anything. anyone knows whats up with that?

Good news, we got our NOA2 yday, 15th Feb. Our NOA1 date was 1st Aug, 2017 & date of case received was 28th July,2017.

Inquiry does nothing because need to wait for 30 days hell

Tier 2 just called back! They said our case hasn’t been assigned yet and we should hear something back in 15 days....
