Hi Everyone!
Is there anyone who received their Green Card within time without problem after entering into United States with no IV Packet?
It is now 8th week i am waiting for my GC and i did my NVC electronically and entered POE with no IV packet. Really worried as i read in forum that many people never got their GC and going through a lot of obstacle now.

When uploading photograph as part of IV package. Is that VISA style photo or personal couple photo? I see people submitting 2x2 visa photo is that correct? Need answer asap so that I can correct mine in that case. I thought it meant personal photos of us as proof.
you need to upload 2x2 visa photo of the applicant.

Hi all,
New to this forum! Hope everyone is doing well. I have to say, the wealth of knowledge and support on these threads is incomparable.
We started our process (IR1) back in May 2018 and are in the final stages of getting our case complete. Our lawyer doesn't have the best attention to detail and it has been frustrating working with him on our case. We got our case number from NVC on Dec 20 and all our paperwork was submitted by Jan 3rd. The issue is that while our DS260 and civil documents got accepted today, we got an INVALID DOC message from NVC on our AOS submission - it turns out Form I864 and 2017 W2 are missing from the submission and upon closer inspection, I JUST found out that our lawyer submitted the wrong file where the 864 had to be submitted. #facepalm
I've asked him to submit the correct forms and documents ASAP but does anyone here know how long would the process typically take for acceptance of resubmitted documents? We are a pivot case so everything is happening through CEAC.
Thanks in advance and good luck to all
currently they are taking 2-3 week to review resubmitted documents.

Ok. Which one is pay stub? But my husband 2015,2016 is above poverty timeline only his 2017 that is not enough. You think we need joint sponsor
As far i understand, you must meet the income requirement with recent year, and pay stub is Salary receipt

It is better to have tax return transcript and his W2s. We uploaded both along with his recent pay stub.

From what the rep stated, you get placed at the end every time you submit a document, regardless if for a new additional document or a re-upload document, the event happens when clicking submit documents. Although I'm not positive if what she said is exactly is true, because when we received the notice to upload my divorce decree for my stepson when they reviewed his documents, my stepdaughter had not been reviewed yet so I also uploaded the decree to my stepdaughters petition at same time. The following day my stepdaughters documents were reviewed and all documents approved case closed, so obviously my uploading and submitting the additional document 11 days after I uploaded her other documents did not reset us in the review queue. So i'm thinking it works like this, when you submit your documents it adds you to the review queue, you can add and submit more documents and you do not lose your place in the queue, however when they review your documents they take you out of the review queue so if they request additional or replacement documents once you submit the documents it adds you back into the review queue.
thanks for the details, i have re-uploaded 2 docs they mentioned within an hour, hope they complete is soon and schedule the interview. finger crossed !

I called nvc last night and finally got a very polite helpful rep, she explained exactly what I already suspected, when nvc requests additional documents the date that you submit those documents you get placed back at the end of the line waiting for document review all over again.
Finally we have good news case closed! This morning my wife was checking our email at 5:34am and at 5:33am we had received the email "NVC received all of the fees, forms, and documents that are required. NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in MANILA, PHIL to schedule an interview appointment for you", timeline below
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience. I got an email from NVC today that i need to re-upload 2 documents and i did, are we going to placed back at the end again because of it or it is applicable only when additional documents were asked to upload?

I don’t think we neee to email, just called NVC and lady said it will take 3 weeks from submission.
thanks for the response, i was also thinking the same...but will call to make sure just in case.
3 minutes ago, Shan2019 said:It depends on Case to Case and consulate where the applicant will be interviewed. Some people have to upload, some email and some mail. I would call NVC and ask them status of case and ask if they got everything they needed.
thanks for the reply, yes i would call to just make sure.

uploaded all the documents to CEAC website and submitted on Dec 12, really hoping to get response by NYE. thinking to call today to ask if we need to send all documents by email too, btw our wl email specifically said not to send any docs by MAIL and instructed to follow instruction on how to upload docs, but nothing about sending doc by emails.
anyone who got CC with only docs uploaded without sending doc by e-mail? -
Hi everyone, We forgot to put date on our i-864 form, but signed the form and uploaded + submitted the form. Is it gonna be a problem? Will they reject it because of date missing? We have a joint sponsor too, date is missing only on petitioner's i-864.
Please advice. Thanks
