I finally got our (my son’s and my ) passports with visa, booked one way tickets for 11th yesterday!! We’ll have wedding on 15th!!

Received the passport back with Visa today
 

I had an interview today, but couldn’t get approved because didn’t submit my fiancé’s tax return. 
He sent an email with his tax return of 2016, 2017 to Tokyo embassy I went today. I want to send them “paper” of them just in case, but 2016 one is 116 pages, need all? Hope they accept just it’s by email... and they said we might need joint support... 80 man yen doesn't seem enough for us, they said need to see. 
 
I’m so depressed now, I should have bring proof of my savings...!! I already booked flight and wedding in 2 weeks and a couple of days..ahh

You should ask if they have A received your case and B) allocated a case number. for me, these both occurred at the same time. for others, their case is received and allocated a case number on different dates (often 2-3 days apart)

You need to call NVC for a case number. Then, you can track where your case is with the CEAC tracker: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

We have RFE. We collected and sent additional documents. On December 23, our letter was delivered to the address. But until there is no official confirmation of receipt. We wait.

Not posted for a little bit now, been in the new NVC struggle...but wanted to share that we just spoke to them and they confirmed our number just now!!!! Our NOA2 date was 30th October so believe some movement is finally here for everyone who is waiting!!! YIPEEEEEE

NOA: May 18th

We already have visa on hand; three days after the interview! POE next Tuesday through Los Angeles!

i got my # today... called them 2x, 6weeks and 1 day

All that yelling I did here on Monday must have done some good because I FINALLY received our approval today, day 203.
 
The apps are not showing any change for me, they still show received, but I have the noa2 in hand, dated 12-4 (my bday). My informed delivery message wouldn't load all day, and finally loaded around 3:30pmEST. Couldn't wait to get home, skype with my honey, and open the letter.
 
On to the next wait at NVC. I won't pretend that the wait at NVC doesn't concern me in the same way the delays for noa2 did, but at least I know we are moving in the right direction. Hopefully this means that some of you who also haven't gotten any updates on the app/in the scan DO have an noa2 coming your way very very soon! Check your mailboxes!

Guys, POE at Fort Lauderdale was VERY smooth. The lady asked for the sealed package when she saw my k1 visa and took me to a room. I waited there for 5-7 minutes and she returned with my passport and I was good to go. Literally ZERO questions!

Yes however you need to have good proof that you are going to return to your country of origin it is the officer at the POE descression if they let you enter or not 

If you have a valid visa to enter the USA you can come visit. Please keep in mind that technically officer at POE may deny entry anyway, even if you have a visa.
I don't think your K1 application status (NOA1, NOA2, etc) has anything to do with your ability to travel but perhaps this is a good question for a lawyer

My fiance just called the USCIS and what a great news we have heard from the person he talked.We got APPROVED yesterday, December 6.The USCIS website didnt update it yet but according to the person it take days to update it. woooooooh !!! I cant believed it..214 days  of waiting !!!!! Thank you God ....He is coming back next week here to celebrate Christmas with me and my family for his 5th visit.What a great Christmas gift for both of us ....Good luck to those whose still waiting for NoA2...I know God has always a plan for each of us ...I am tearing writing this message, so much joy and excitement as well as relieved from 7 months of waiting for our NoA2...It is not an easy waiting but we fight and stayed strong together to make our dreams and plan come true.God bless you all and I wish you goodluck with your journey.

This is what's bothering me. How's it possible that no VJ member has gotten their case number yet since late October? This can't be a coincidence. I don't think they've been working on l129fs for this past month honestly...

Hello all, i contacted NVC yesterday and received a different response than the usual jargon. The representative (Ms Perla) advised me to send an email to NVCresearch@state.gov with a copy of my NOA2 attached. she told me that they will be take with finding out where my application is. when I asked if this is unusual, she said that it happens quite often. 
 
Im not sure if you all have heard, but the US Supreme Court has allowed the Trump travel ban to go into full effect as of Monday which in effect completely bars entry to my fiance indefinitely, unless we can qualify for  waiver.  I asked the NVC representative if this had anything to do with why my application is MIA. She informs me that they are still processing application as they normally do and that they are awaiting instructions from the state department for how to handle cases like mine. She also informed me that this had nothing to do with why my case has not been received yet.

Yep it was 6 weeks and they finally received it and nvc asked for 2 more weeks to assign a number or something

So I just got off the phone with NVC tomorrow will be 6 weeks. They said wait until Monday, maybe they will receive it by Friday. She said they get pallets of mail in daily. Have to sort through it and scan them. If it doesn’t come by Monday she said I can email NVC research@state.gov then they will research it. 
But she did stress to wait until Monday. Oh and kept saying it can take an additional 2 weeks to process once received. I’m like first recieve it already!
 
 

OMG. Exactly one week since they received our response to RFE. And I just booked my flight last night for January lol. Now I don’t know what to doooooooooo
