No need to break a sweat it’s ok. The fingerprint process is to identify who you are, and not a procedure that’s tied to your greencard issuance. Obviously you were identified through your passport and visa package and that’s why you got admitted.

Since you PD is already current, you can wait for the interview as NVC might take a while to update to IR1. You can show your spouses’s citizenship certificate copy during the interview just to let them know.

Yes, this works for paper filing. However, if you’re filing online the system won’t allow you to have multiple jobs that overlap chronologically. I had the same problem, so only listed what I considered to be my main job at any given time.

I had more jobs than spots and I added a regular paper with them. I think it is in the instructions. That being said, I don't think it is that big of a deal.

There is nothing better than being truthful in this journey.  Explain your situation when you are being asked. However  making correction even When you aren’t asked may not be a wise thing to do.  Be relevant with the questions during interview and explain when you couldn’t write both on the form.

    Best of luck.

You can correct at the time of interview. let the IO know that you're unable to enter two job for the same period. If you have any evidence working two jobs like Pay stubs or W2 you can bring with you for the period you worked two jobs.

Fuad_Bangladesh reacted to d3adc0d3 in Unusual circumstances.. best approach to obtaining k1 visa?
U.S. States only have a ban on marriages between first cousins (e.g. the children of two siblings) not second cousins (e.g. the children of two first cousins). There is no known increased risk of birth defects between second cousins, and there is only a 3-4% increased risk between first cousins (the same as a woman giving birth at 41 versus 30). [source 1] [source 2] [source 3]
OP: Your partner's country is difficult enough to get a K1 visa for. I would recommend that you put together more than enough evidence to prove that it is a valid relationship. Personally I think, if you move & work there for a year after your studies and build a life together whilst you're there it will be an excellent source of evidence. If the K1 is denied you can always marry and go the CR1/IR1 route. If you prefer not to take any risks of a denial and further processing time, I recommend you get married and file for the CR1/IR1 visa.

Fuad_Bangladesh reacted to larnar1309 in detailed London CR1 interview : DECLINED
Interview date: 3rd November 2017 scheduled: 10:30am Embassy: London

I arrived at the embassy entrance at around 9:30am. There were looooong lines of people (probably around 100ish). I went straight up to the front desk and told the woman I have a spouse visa interview at 10:30. She told me to come back to her at about 10:15 and just come straight to her - not to line up. I went for a quick cup of tea and was too excited really to sit around so I went back to the woman at 10am and she took a look at my interview letter and passport and told me to join another line which was in front of a window written "interview appointments only" there was about 15 people in this line.

I spoke to the woman behind me who said her appointment time was for 9:30 but she thinks there's just so many people it's impossible to get in on time. I'm not sure if she maybe lined up in the long line to get in this same line as me. The officer was letting four people in at one time to the glass entrance room. We were given small plastic bags to put keys / wallet / phone etc. in. I was asked several times whether I had a laptop which I did not. My bag went through the machine like in the airport and I went to the reception of the embassy. The receptionist checked my passport, put a sticker with a number on it on my interview letter and told me to go upstairs and go to the window when my number appears on the big screen.

I'd say when I sat down upstairs it was around 10am but I wasn't checking my phone much because numbers were pinging up on the big screen every few seconds and I didn't want to miss mine. About 10 minutes passed and my number flashed up and I went to the window. A nice woman pulled out my HUGE file which contained the documents submitted to USCIS and NVC. It was actually amazing to see this. haha. She went through my documents that were requested on my interview letter (birth certs, police certs, etc. ) and checked them all off on a list she had. This took about 10 minutes. She then took my fingerprints via a glass scanner (like in American airports) and asked me if I have flights booked to the US. I was surprised by this because they always tell you not to book flights in advance. I do have flights booked for thanksgiving and Xmas so I told her I have tickets to Denver for Nov 21st. She noted this down and gave me back my interview letter with the same number on it and said when it flashed up on the screen that would be for my interview.

I sat waiting for my number. I saw on the screen that it was written Immigrant visas are taking up to 17 working days to process which seems like a long time!

I waited for my number to flash up for about 25 minutes. Then went straight to my window round the corner. I was surprised because I imagined the interview to be sitting down with someone in a room or something but it was exactly like the first window. Just a guy sitting behind the glass with all my docs. He asked me where me and my husband met, when we met, when we got married, how we keep in contact, and what he does for work. He then responded saying that my husbands income does not meet the minimum requirement so I would be required to submit a joint sponsor before my application can be approved. I was shocked by this because me and my husband had initially planned a joint sponsor and were surprised that this wasn't requested at the NVC stage to submit one? I asked why it wasn't requested before today and the CO just responded with "we thought you would have kind of worked that out yourself". I was so annoyed because it says all over the building to not submit any additional documents that are not requested AND on the interview form just to bring what is asked to bring!! The CO gave me a blue piece of paper which states that my visa application is declined until the required documents have been submitted. He said he would hang onto my passport and everything until I submit them as PDF files to an email address he gave me. I asked him if I should take my passport so I can go for thanksgiving and then submit the joint sponsor docs etc. when Im back and do my POE for my xmas trip. He said that he didn't recommend that because I would probably be declined entry to the US and red flagged that I was trying to enter before completing this step of the process!!

He said if I submit the documents via email by Monday morning I can probably get my visa approved and passport back in time to go for thanksgiving. Luckily my husband and I already prepared for this so we have everything ready to submit for Monday. but still.. huge sigh!! I thought this would be over and was so ready for it just to all be done. Should have expected there was more to come!! haha.

If I can't go for thanksgiving it's not the end of the world but really hoping that I can. Just missing my husband so much.

Anyway - mainly wrote this for 2 reasons:

    1) because I hope the same situation doesn't happen to anyone else regarding not submitting un-requested docs  or bringing extra with them. I now wish I had brought my joint sponsor stuff.
    2) a lot of people say to not book flights because you can't guarantee you will make them. However, I felt like in this situation they are working towards me getting my passport back IN TIME FOR MY FLIGHT. They were curious as to my flight timeline etc. so I think it helped me having them.

Best wishes to everyone interviewing at London. Hope you have a smoother journey than me!

Technically speaking, YES just last year IRS tax transcript is enough but if you can I would recommend to include last 3 years. But if you can't, that's okay nothing to worry. Only last year tax info should be enough.

Make sure you include the nikahnama (Bangla and English) with marriage certificate copy. And also for the green card, make sure you get the both sided (front and back) copy. If you send IRS tax transcript then nothing else is required for the NVC process but if you want you can include whatever you want just to be on safe side. Good luck !!

I think in Dhaka embassy, they want what you have in your tax return as well as recent proof of income. I would say, the safest way would be to get a joint sponsor if it is doable. Then you will be less worried about the NVC process. Good luck !!

You will need a joint sponsor. I was in the same position and USCIS takes the last 3 years into consideration. I also had assets of my own that would have bumped us over 10x the poverty level but it's up to their discretion to allow the assets or not.  In my case they did not so they sent RFE for joint sponsor.

Her current income exceeds the poverty guidelines significantly.  She shoukd not need a joint sponsor.  I have not heard of your country requiring 3 years of tax returns above the guideline either.

Fuad_Bangladesh reacted to tasakchy in Joint sponsor filing taxes as married filing jointly
If your joint sponsor's income is enough to sponsor you on her own then she won't need to include her husbands income or his I-864A.
That is only required if they are both pooling their income in order to reach the poverty threshold.
Your joint sponsor will need to provide proof of her individual income such as below since her tax returns list their joint income:
    *Taken from Adjudications Manual: http://www.uscis.gov/iframe/ilink/docView/AFM/HTML/AFM/0-0-0-1.html
"A sponsor’s spouse who qualifies as a household member and wishes to have his or her income included as a household member generally needs to complete a Form I-864A. However, if the spouse is not willing to let the sponsor rely on the spouse’s income, that is acceptable. In this situation, the sponsor needs to show his or her own income and which portion of any assets used to qualify can be attributed to him or her."
"If a sponsor filed a joint tax return with a spouse, but is qualifying using only his/her own individual income, the sponsor must submit evidence of that individual income. This evidence would include, for example, the sponsor’s own W-2(s), Wage and Tax Statement, and if necessary to reach the income requirement, evidence of other income reported to IRS which can be attributed to him/her, usually on Forms 1099".

Fuad_Bangladesh reacted to dustonio in I-864 Form: 125% minimum poverty for ALL three years?
I am filling out Form I-864 and in order to be a sole sponsor for my wife, do I have to show income at 125% of Poverty Level for ALL THREE of the past three tax years to qualify, or only for the past one year?
I was in graduate school three tax years ago and therefore my income was below poverty level. Two tax years ago I started my own business and it was also below poverty level. However last tax year, I generated above 125% of Poverty Level. Therefore can I be a sole sponsor based on my 2008 Tax Year income, or will I need to get a joint sponsor because my 2006/7 tax years were below poverty level?
