Philippines accounts for almost 1/5 of all K1 visas! UK, Canada, and Brazil have decent numbers, but not half of Philippines! You'll see many in any month's thread!

OK, I'll stop grinding this axe, it is just annoying me.

How is he right? You were approved at 177 days. Weeks and weeks and weeks ago I built a mathematical model to predict the approval times of early June (of which I am one). I predicted between 174-178 days as the average for the bulk of them two months ago (though I did acknowledge I did not adjust for thanksgiving which puts average more likely at 176-180).

    He predicted 160 days.

177 is in 174-178 (or 176-180 thanksgiving adjusted).
177 is not equal to 160 or even that close as far as these things go.

How was he right? It is pretty easy to say once the approvals start rolling in for a day it will keep going--that takes no analytical skills!

I guess if I just came in an spouted positive stuff, no matter how often it is wrong, I'd be told how great I was. Live and learn.

That WAC is a June 5 number. It is in the same block of 11 as me. many on both sides of our block of 11 have been touched, but not us.

Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it! Trust me, airbnb a condo in BGC. Pull up google maps and zoom to street view and look around--you'll see why this is the place to stay. Way nicer and likely cheaper than H2O and area!

Keep in mind, there is no "official" SLA (service level agreement). The "normal processing time" is whatever they say it is. They have been saying 6 months, but as John said, they can just as easily say "hey, the new normal is 8 months--we are processing May 1 now, sit down, shut up, and wait your turn." I can't stress this enough--they have made no binding commitment as to processing time and they owe us nothing. So any commitment to a "normal processing time" can be ephemeral. 6 months is not a magic marker where all of a sudden they are going to work overtime and weekends to process ours. Much greater chance they start firing RFEs if they don't want to advertise a longer timeline.

Just to be clear, they have no problem with these: letters both his and mine and translated documents, his birth certificate, 2x2 passport photos, phone logs, text messages.

    They don't want those again.

They are saying they lack sufficient evidence to support the claim that you two met in person within the 24 months prior to submitting. If you sent pictures did you date them? Do you have plane tickets of both you you flying together--you need a bunch of evidence putting you two in the same place on specific dates so they can check that box.

I suggest you go back and re-read some of the posts from moths ago if you are going to make these claims. The 160 assertions were quite strong and there were many unprovoked insults hurled at me because I said the emperor had no clothes. Secondly, you are buying into a false equivalency. Not all estimates are equal. If someone came in and estimated 5 years or 10 days for NOA2, you would not consider them as valuable as anyone else's (hyperbolic to prove a point).

Finally, I do not understand your claim of personal insults in my post. I did not call him a troll if that is what you took as the insults, I said that from his actions I thought he was--that is a true statement. In fact I said I quickly realized I was wrong in that assessment. Everything else is my post are factual statements, is there a fact that you disagree with and have labeled a person insult? If you want to see personal insults, I suggest you backtrack through this thread and see the unprovoked ones hurled my direction. Where was your indignation and condensation then?

I truly believe you are doing a great service to the folks in the thread posting numbers and deserve much credit and thanks. But I do not believe that grants a pass to accuse me of things I did not do and that were in fact done to me first. But hey, back to the will of the people. If the will of the people is unsubstantiated conjecture, who am I to argue? I leave you to it--I promise to not let facts get in the way again.

The opposite is also not good. False expectation is more of a moral killer than considered analysis when you are hit in the face with reality.

This is no joke, we you showed up here with crazy posts and claiming 160 days average for us when there was literally no logical way to make that math work, I seriously thought you were a troll trying to get peoples hopes up so you could laugh at them. I realized quickly this was not the case, but...

So here we are again. You had this type of reaction to my predictions from about two months ago--they were doom and gloom and you rallied the troops with torches to align behind you and drive the evil-doer away. But now I ask you, who had the better analysis, you or me? If this week and next week unfold the way past weeks have my prediction from almost 2 months ago will be about as close as you can possibly get to accurate--way more accurate than yours. Way more accurate than VJ was then.  So yeah...I have no idea what I'm talking about . About the only other person that was close to accurate (and if this week does not go as projected he will be closer) is John (oh yeah, you also said before not to listen to him either ).
