OMG, after a very long day with no sleep, I have just realised our whole journey has been one with no RFE. I was sure we would get one with N400, but nope.   I overloaded on documentation today, but everything was already online, so they didn't need that info, best to take it any way.  The question is can you get an RFE at the Oath Ceremony?  Being a dizzy blonde, I probably will. Not told you what happened at security in Manchester on my way back home to the USA. Talk about hilarious, you think the handcuffs were funny, but this is an all time classic!! :)

being a dizzy blonde has all the advantages :jest:

Also, just checked the USCIS app, out of all the filers, just one shows card is being produced as of July 10. You guys got lucky! It's like one in 100's of apps. Not sure how many others applied for N400 there. I am in the 200 range there, not sure how long I'll have to wait lol

it is not by sequence of priority date,  you could get approved much earlier than those who have earlier priority date,  who knows

For those that already submitted their application based on marriage to U.S. citizen (3 year) what documents did you submit online? Besides green card, marriage certificate, birth certificate/passport of U.S. citizen spouse

Same documents as for I-751 + evidence from previous year (when applied for AOS) + evidence post-I-751 submission?

    Thanks!

if you login your account at dhs.gov,  going through all the questions there, you will know exactly what you need

It really stinks to have waited this long, just to receive an RFE :( It doesnt seem like they work very quickly on them (surprise, surprise).

On a positive note, it seems like the app is updating regularly again..so i guess we have that going for us...

also, eac17256, my day, has had a lot of activity yesterday and today :)

it seems they are back to work :D

On July 10, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC17284xxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Thanks for these updates gc, they're very informative.

I'm curious, do you know if the status changes when applicants are invited for interview?

    nope, i dont know

i guess no one really knows how uscis updates case processing status.  i have seen some cases without any updates and straight to card was delivered; i have also seen so many cases got " card was delivered by usps "  update first,  then work backward, with " card was produced" , "card was mailed" updates.

Long time reader first time poster.

EAC17269**** approved today with status saying “New Card is being Produced”. To say that I’m relieved is an understatement. Reading posts here for the past year has really helped to keep me going!

i submitted an inquiry on the USCIS website last week because I never received a notification by mail saying my case had been transferred to the local office. I know it wasn’t really a good reason but it seems to have gotten their attention. Yesterday my name was updated and the actions taken on my inquiry said that they had sent me a notice. Then today it said card being produced.

anyone know how long it takes for them to send cards at this point?

My receipt date was the end of June 2017.

you should receive your card in 7-10 days

did you apply for N-400?? that might be the "action" they are referring to. I received the same e-mail but on June 23 is when they sent the notice for my biometrics appointment. Sadly it seems it has nothing to do with my conditions being removed.

the email on june 23 has nothing to do with your n-400 biometrics appointment since the email was from your i-751 status

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? LOL As a pessimist I'd be upset because they just started working on it and who knows how much longer it will take, but as an optimist, I'd be happy that someone actually opened my case and it is not in a pile with thousands of other cases anymore :D

well, you will know this time next week or so, i think

I don’t think so... stamps are usually done at the local office after your schedule an info pass. Biometrics are done at the application support center (ASC). Btw I did my biometric on June 29th and my letter was never uploaded online.

some places, asc and uscis office are in the same building, and/or next to building, or their offices next to each other

I am actually in Antelope. I tried https://my.uscis.gov/en/appointment  and entered my zip. The site says the local office is Capitol Mall which I believe is where I went to do my 1st interview ( to get the temp GC). however it says "ATTENTION: This USCIS office is temporarily not accepting walk-in requests or scheduling InfoPass appointments for information services. Appointments for document services (such as passport stamps and advance parole) and true emergencies can be made online at my.uscis.gov/help/schedule."    If I go to  my.uscis.gov/help/schedule, there is a form to fill in which I did not complete. I hope if /when I do I can choose which day I would like.

most likely you will receive a call from kansas to schedule your appointment

Hi. Newbie here although I’ve been following the thread for a while. My initial extension letter expires next month and after struggling to get an info pass appt at my local office (Houston) for weeks, I got lucky and found openings at the Dallas office which I jumped on. I got my I-551 stamp this morning and it was a fairly simple process and lasted less than 30 minutes. However the lady told me that I was eligible for one I-551 stamp every year until I got my 10-year card. And I gave her a surprise look and she said yeah it shows that I am currently waiting on an interview and they are backed up so chances are I’d still be waiting next year. Sigh.

never heard one 1-551 stamp per year limit before
