It could be an error that they have two different dates there. But also, if you go and check threads from July/August/September 2016 and even November 2016 filers, you'll see that some of their cases have been touched by a human, so my guess is that those dates we see on USCIS are just averages of what dates are being processed, there are some cases way behind scheduled, and some way ahead.

And here's the kicker: holiday season is around the corner, thanksgiving, Christmas, new years, ALL of that will delay the processing even more, so buckle up because this will be a long ride. :(

it isnt an error. my understanding is that USCIS updated/released its data for Aug 31 on Oct 31

So it looks like there are still a handful of June filers that have not received biometrics appointments yet. I received this email today after doing an online service request stating we haven't received a bio appointment yet:

"On August 11, 2017, you notified USCIS that you have not received an appointment to have your biometric images processed. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been resolved.

The name of the applicant on a Form I-751 petition is automatically added to the Application Support Center (ASC) scheduling roster upon USCIS receipt of the filing. Once confirmed in the system, a biometrics appointment notice specifying the time and location will be sent. "

Is there any action I should take? I realize they may be busy but it's almost 3 months after receipt and we haven't had any updates in our case.

Ok... I've restored the spreadsheet, AGAIN. Yes, it's more than  annoying, and I've seen from July 2017 ROC filers thread that someone has done the same exact thing to their spreadsheet, several times...

So, I've also changed settings - now you can comment, but cannot edit, so hopefully it will be fine.. If there is something again - I'll block it from comments as well, and if somebody needs to enter their data - I'll be happy to do so, just send me a request ;)

Can you post the spreadsheet link here?

    Thank you!

I had my biometrics appointment today. Drove 2.5 hours one way for a 10 min appointment..my first picture they took was horrible so he did another which was acceptable. We were 2 hours early, I forgot about the 1 hour time change. They graciously let us proceed early. I sat down to fill out the paperwork and they took me right in...

2.5 hours one way? my god. now i feel lucky that mine was only 40 sth

Hello all, just an update for those still waiting for their biometrics notice. I received a letter today stating "This notice informs you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics data. USCIS will run the same security checks and use your biometrics data as in the past, however, it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS application support center for a biometrics appointment. The biometrics fee will not be refunded."

I guess this worked out, would've been great if they sent something earlier! The biometrics data USCIS has on file is over 2.5 years old (at least I look nice in the photo they have!).

    Good luck to all!

thats really a good news for you, save the time and hassle for having to go to asc.

    thanks for sharing

    HI.

I had mine on the 17th, and there are not any updates either...

To be honest - I wouldn't rely on that at all. During my AOS "My case status" has never been updated, for 15 months    and from "On June we received your case..blah-blah" it went straight to "Approved'. Not a word about RFE, transferring the case to a different filed office and etc. ... So, no worries :)

My bio appointment was July 7, I had it done on June 26 as walk in, nothing has updated in "My Case Status", nor do I expect anything updated there in next 10 months or so.

Just sit and wait, nothing else we can do :-)

You are right. I wish those people, who answer phone calls FIRST - were trained a little better. In this case we wouldn't bother a Tier 2 IO, or supervisor..

Interested too. Every day I receive en email from MyUSPS, and see what mails/packages are coming. And I've seen everybody's delivery at our address. Well,  at least I've thought so.. But after what I've learnt today  - seems like mails are scanned by delivery person..

The lady at our Post Office, "the nice" one :) said that she did put my son's name... somewhere and that now "girls" will see he lives with us...Don't know..

There is a guy here, at VJ, geowrian..would be great if he came with some inputs  - he or works or used to work for USPS..

first tier of customer service representatives at uscis might not have much information but very general ones, i guess they dont really have much access to cases for various reasons, such as, due to security concern.

The mails in Informed Delivery should be really scanned by others or system automatically, NOT by delivery man/woman, so there is sort of accountability for mail delivery.

That's what I'm thinking of right now.... I wish I remembered that USCIS guy's name, but anyway - big thanks for what he's done.

Yeah, that guy is really nice!

Some people could really make life a little bit easier for others, like this gentleman at USCIS; but some others could do real harm to others, like "the girls" at the post office.

Now i wonder how USPS's Informed Delivery works: who scans the mails? Hope mails are not scanned by delivery man/woman, but by someone else or by system.

Yes, USCIS Processing Time information page shows "as of April 30, 2017" .And I believe there is no any up-dated information because they are still processing June 2016 ROC filers. And earlier filing as well.

You can take a look at I-751 June 2016 Filers (Merged Threads). According to their  spreadsheet only 13 CSC filers  from 71 got approval by the end of April, 2017, which is only 19%.
5 applicants - approved in May, 2017 , and so far - it's about 51% of June 2016 I-751 applicants approved. Looks like the most of them just started receiving their approval from late June - beginning of July 2017.

Besides, speaking with a Tier 2 immigration officer 2 weeks ago I was told that now, extending our conditional green cards for 1 year, they DO mean a year. Not 6,8 or 10 months any more like it used to be.

So, yes, actually,  it takes a year. Currently.

    Thanks!

Hello, we got our appointment letter yesterday 7/8 for an appointment on 7/18. Do I need to go with him? Does he need to take anything really other than his resident card? Sorry it's really early and I just saw this in the mail (I subscribed to the usps mail preview when I saw ya'll recommend it and didn't check the mail yesterday and happened to just look at my email on an early morning what time is it break) and had a wait I wasn't expecting this moment so I'm super confused.

just green card and the appointment letter

    Hi guys,

I received my Biometrics notice today! There are two receipt numbers!

    First one is "Application number"

    I-751 - EAC XXXXXXXXXX

The second one is "Application number 2"

    CRI89 - EAC XXXXXXXXXX

Now, I was able to track the second application number online, but not the first it says "invalid"!!!

Anyone has experienced something like that?

that happens to everyone, i think
