@hank,  can you please tell me if I'm right.  I have my mnl#,  copy of nvc letter sent by my fiancé, I just need to print the receipt then go to bring,  then wait until 12 to 24 hrs to schedule online. My questions is, do I really need to fill-out the DS-160 to have an interview date though my fiancé didn't know when will his documents will be sent here in Philippines?  is that okay I will only conduct first the medical without filling out the DS-160 or it is really required to fill-out it so that I can have my medical? (cause I'm thinking to just do the medical first then later is to choose my interview date) this makes me confuse.  Sorry, I really need your help. Thank you so much.

What i did on ours is fill out the online registration for medical. That does not need an appointment. He was at SLEC at 4am, and he was 13th on the line already. Put N/A for interview date on the online registration because we have not paid the visa fee yet.

Then paid the visa fee at BPI after a fee days before the medical, after that I created the DS-160 and since the beneficiary has to submit electronic form, he submitted it on his side.

He just brought the confirmation form with him of the DS-160 and the visa interview.

  2. Hello how many tax reports do i have to include in I 134? Some say just one others say 3 years. Also, do I need to include bank accounts, money deposited blah blah or my yearly salary is already enough since it is more than the 125% they require above poverty line?

what can i include as evidence for then interview? Currently we don’t really have an engagement ring. Hence, we don’t have engagement photos. we wanted to marry each other but we didn’t see that an engagement ring would be necessary if we can just save that money for our future instead.

We did see each other more than 2 times for the past 2 years. I also came home when his father got diagnosed with cancer.

We have many call logs, monetary gifts during occassions like Christmas or birthdays and items we gave to each other.

People usually only show bank statement if they are trying to show assets. Unless they recently just started working at a job, and they dont have enough evidence to prove that. Then bank statements are another way to show that income is coming in. So if you have paystubs, w-2, and tax transcripts, you should be good. If you are self employed, then some embassy requires your most recent tax transcripts, some require your last 3 years.

    Thank you!

For the bank statement. I called up my bank (USAA) and told them that I needed a Notice of Good Standing that displayed:

    • Account type
    • Deposits made over past 12 months
    • Current balance
    • Date Opened
    • Signed by bank officer (mine was signed by someone with the title of "Consumer Account Specialist")

I got mine completed at the end of July 28 with an interview date of September 5; it took my bank a few days to get it to me. Once you compile your I-134 and all supporting documents, you will want to mail that to your fiance.

Is bank statement required for the I-134? or it can just be optional?

  5. I emailed NVC an inquired on my case. For them to answer fully, there is a form that needs to be filled with required information.

When i called at first, they didn’t say a thing. They just said it is in the system and has not been sent to the embassy yet. But i created that inquiry on the form given to me, and I got a response within 24-48 hours...

they confirmed that the case was forwarded to the embassy in Manila yesterday dec 28...

    says:

    Police Records

Available. Immigrant visa applicants who have resided in the United Kingdom for six months or more since the age of sixteen are required to obtain a Police Certificate from the Association of Chief Police Officers Criminal Records Office (ACRO). Applicants will find further guidance and application forms here.

The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 enables some criminal convictions to become 'spent', or ignored, after a set length of time from the date of conviction. After this period, with certain exceptions, an ex-offender is not normally obliged to mention their conviction when applying for a job or obtaining insurance, or when involved in criminal or civil proceedings. The "No Live Trace" or "Further Information Stepped Down" response indicates that information is available relating to a 'spent' conviction. A "No Trace" response indicates a clean police record.

Applicants presenting “No Live Trace” or “Further Information Stepped Down” police records are encouraged to request and submit their Subject Access Record to facilitate visa processing.  Applicants are legally entitled to gain access to this information about themselves under Section 7 of the British Data Protection Act, 1998.

    Prison Records

    Unavailable.

    Court Records

Available. Applicants may obtain court records (usually called "Memorandum of Conviction" in the United Kingdom), by writing to the Clerk of Court of the court (or courts) in which he or she was tried. This request must include as precise a date and place as possible.

To view guidance on acceptable photographs, please click here.

    3. Copies of your passport(s) / travel document / official photographic identity document - You must upload copies of your passport(s) / travel document which clearly show your photograph, personal information, expiry date, nationality, machine readable zone, extension pages and signature (if applicable). 7. Endorser details - Your application must be endorsed by a suitable individual. We require your endorser’s full name, occupation, relationship to you (e.g. friend, employer etc. but NOT family), a telephone number, and their email address as we may send your passport photograph to them as part of our check. Completing the form

Once you start the application you will not be able to save it and return to it later on. If you exit or you don’t move forwards or backwards for 60 minutes your data will be deleted.

    Third party applications

We can only supply personal data to the individual to whom it relates. If you are making an application on behalf of someone else (known as a 'third party application') you will need to provide a signed letter of authorisation from the person whose data is being requested, plus proofs of identity that show the true applicant's signature. Premium service - £80.00 (2 working days, not including dates of receipt or dispatch)
