Hey everyone, checking in to say we had our interview yesterday and we were APPROVED on the spot. I will say, we were not interviewed together at the outset so be prepared for the possibility as it can be surprising. My wife (sponsor) was interviewed first and then she was brought out and I was brought in to be interviewed. No hard questions, just a conversation (how we met, meeting of family members, our living situation, a little travel history and some of the I485 YES/NO security questions, etc). But I did find out later that most of my questions were already asked of my wife in some form so I assume the interviewer was double checking me for any inconsistencies. She (the sponsor) was asked more questions on various things (my job, our wedding) than I was though and according to her, he had marked approved on some sheet before I ever came in (no clue what that was). At the end, she was brought back for us both to, TOGETHER, present our joint evidence materials. The interviewer even complimented us on our paperwork organization. lol All in all, about 30 minutes and we were reminded to reapply in 2 years - 90 days for ROC. We were a little nervous at first but everyone in the office was nice throughout the entire process so that was calming.
 
Received this via email and text message this morning: 
Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production 
On August 28, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC#, and will mail it to the address you gave us.
 
Feels good to have a 2 year-ish break that we can just go on and enjoy our lives instead of worrying about paperwork. lol Good luck to everyone still waiting. It feels like a long road but God-willing, your turn will soon be ahead. Blessings

Hi everyone - just wanted to give a quick update. We had our AOS interview this morning and it went really well.  We brought a ton of documents/evidence/photos with us and it seemed to pay off.  The questions weren't hard or anything out of the ordinary.  Basically, if your relationship is real then you have nothing to worry or be nervous about! At the end of the interview the officer said she has to keep the copies to review but she is recommending us for approval and we will get an official notice by mail.  She also handed us a letter that said the same thing, "Your application/petition has been recommended for approval. At this time, it appears that you have established your eligibility for the immigration benefit for which you have applied. If final approval is granted, you will receive your approval notice by mail."  All in all it was a pleasant experience and I hope the same for all of you!! 

Green Card received today! Filed in March, Green Card in hand in July! AOS went MUCH FASTER than the k1 which took us nearly 10 months!! Thank God this is over for a while <3 <3 <3 hope everyone is doing well here!

We received the green cards last week, just 2 days shy of 6 months since applying. Hard to believe that this time last year I was excited about getting NOA2 and looking forward to the interview, and now the whole quest is over, and the new baby is due in three weeks Quite a productive year
Our thread has become really quiet, but It's been fun to be a part of it. Thanks everyone for your support! Wishing smooth and speedy approvals to those who are still waiting!

Yay my background check went through now that my SSN is corrected. The company I interviewed with called me today to formally offer me a position with their company. I start 3 months of training July 30th.  Its an inbound call centre job. My husband works there and loves it.  I start at 15.75 per hour.

EAD and AP Approved March 26!

We’re married!!!!!!!! We got married in Sedona, Arizona on Saturday (Feb 24th) and it was magical. ❤️

Had a good Valentine's Day and a wonderful time in Moscow for the past two weeks! We will be joining the February 2018 group. On my way to the post office now.

He’s here!!!! My fiancé arrived on Friday night! He’s settling in well and we both still feel like we’re living the most incredible dream of our lives!! So beyond worth the wait to be together. We’re getting married in 19 days and I’ll definitely post a pic of our wedding afterwards! 

Visa Approved January 30!!! Visa received February 3!!!

i am so happy , today I just got the EAD combo card
i see a lot of progress as well with everyone getting married and applying for AOS, best of luck , the wait is terrible but we've been thru' worst waiting for the NOA2 - i129f . I applied on the 3rd of November, Biometrics on the 5th of December and the approval for the work permit was updated on the 11th of January.
can't wait to see the good news for everyone in the March filers group!!

My fiance's visa has been issued and is ready for pick-up at the embassy! He's going first thing in the morning. He gets here in 2 1/2 weeks...I have no idea how to focus or contain my excitement! I can't believe this process is finally coming to an end and we will be married soon.  

Embassy has my case and sent me interview notification!!!

OMG I just got a call today from the Friends of the Pikes Peak Library. I have an interview for a volunteer position at their Used Book Store in one of the libraries. I am sooo excited. I hope I get a volunteer job because I believe this will be a great stepping stone to a real job with the Pikes Peak Library District.  Also gives me connections for when I go for a real job.

Got great news today!!! Case was sent to the embassy yesterday!!! Yay!!!

Marry Christmas to all who celebrated it and Happy Holidays! 
 
Well, we've got married last Friday!  
It was super quick ceremony (not like they are doing it in Ukraine :)) - about 10 minutes  and we've done, didn't even realize what happened  
Afterwards we had a nice dinner with our family (my parents arrived from Ukraine) and my best friend (the one from NY that also came to the airport when I arrived remember? ). Supper happy day overall. 
The wedding we are planning for autumn - church ceremony, white dress, restaurant and dances dances dances

All the next steps with green card, etc hopefully to star in the early January.

Officially married today 

Picked up the marriage license today....Woo-hoo!!!!

Just got the call and his interview is all done and approved <3  He said it was quite the difficult interview, they were grilling him about  all his previous visits to the U.S. and how he entered and etc. Before he had met me he applied for a student visa and got denied so they were making a big deal about that during his interview. He said other than that they just asked about our relationship, wedding plans, family, our engagement and the typical questions. I feel so relieved! The world's biggest weight is off our shoulders finally. How long did it take you all to get your visa in hand after the interview? We're trying to figure out about buying a plane ticket and such

I am gonna be way way after you all for AOS.  I don't think we are applying til January now because it looks like his bonus from work might be later than normal. ARGH I actually don't expect to be able to work until like June at this rate. We did get our marriage certificate in the mail yesterday though.  We also bought a Christmas tree and will get decorations together this weekend. 
 
Saturday at 1pm we have a reservation at Ted's Montana Grill for a celebratory wedding lunch with a few friends.

My, now wife has arrived safely. Wedding was 12.6.17 .....  wow what a journey we all take to get this point... just the beginning.
