Yea 10 year . Lol did they tell you that . But uscis lady told me to wait for 10 year gc 😂 as combo filling will delay your case . These people are wierd specially Houston 😑. You will get it soon inshallah 

Same thing here. Filed 751 in January 2017 and got the "glitch" transfer in March and nothing since then. I filed N-400 in late April 2018 though.. 

I have been waiting for....anything would be nice, except those stupid weekly emails telling me that they are still reviewing my case. I mean, I haven't lead the most colorful life so how damn long does it take to review my life? Especially when they already have most of the information from the spousal visa process. And my ROC package weighed a ton, heavily loaded. It has gone beyond ridiculous already. Going tomorrow to get a second I-551 stamp in my passport. I am pretty much disgusted with this process. I just want it DONE already!
 
They transferred my case in May, then...nothing. Crickets.

We are now at the end of September, and have had 3 infopass appointments and another out of time service request. I am still waiting to be sworn in despite passing the naturalization test back on 2nd April. This whole process is draining and completely farcical. On all 3 of my info pass appointments I have been told different things.   Really running out of ideas of what next to do. 

Update, i had my combo n400/751 august 21st, got my aproval letter for i751 yesterday

My I751 was transferred to NBC Missouri in May and when I went to my interview for N400, they scheduled me I751 on site. All the I751 paper files were already in Chicago office but I never received any notice that it got transferred again or interview date for I751. They did the I751 interview that day only because they had to approve this first to proceed with my N400 interview. So maybe you will get your N400 interview date before I751. Make sure that you bring all the documents for I751 as well and your spouse for N400 interview so they will consider to combine both interviews at the same day. 

From what I understand not all IO understand the process, but I think they will figure out that they should adjudicate the two cases n400 and i751 , this process has to be done soon, and the Congress man can help , everybody saying that NBC Processing Times is 6 months 

You see I told before that you will something soon , because you filled almost a year ago, good luck and I hope you will get your passport soon 

Yes! But you know what... I decided to just file I-751 SR yesterday around 12 PM. I thought there was nothing to lose. The confirmation says that I would receive a reply by July 17, but then I received an email around 3 PM that says my N-400 interview has been scheduled. I went to check the status of my SR and it changed to the request has been assigned to an officer for a response. I think the SR indeed triggered the interview..waiting for the letter now! will update in a few days.

Transferred to NBC on May 3rd...nothing but ***crickets*** since.

I really hope we'll hear something this month. I know that there are others who waited longer than me but man.. this waiting is hard, waking up every morning hoping maybe today but then nothing happens..

Transfering a case to the NBC just means standard procedure, they are going to send you to your local office, and there your local office decides if approves, interview, or RFE. 

Oh ok , I think your case is in NBC , MO . Like us , I don’t know what is thé next movement from NBC , but at least it’s not in CSC California, let’s wait and see the next couple months .

My local office processing time said between 15 and 19.5 months , so I may wait for long time, up to a year from now , without green card , just a stamp i551 

Me too I applied for n400 and said the same thing , so nbc is gonna call us for combo interview or what ?

They mean June 2 if you don’t receive the letter by mail that’s it , that’s all 

Most likely will be an approval, because I received a transfer letter and it doesn’t have the status of liberty, good luck

Hello. Just looked It up this morning California Center Processing time for I751 . Avarage time is between 12-17.5 month. I think , we should be looking to get our cards by the begining of 2018 of June and late July, which is good because our stamp will be good for a year from now. Thats good news!!

We are overthinking it way too much. Our cases were sitting without movement for over a year. Now its finally being processed. Even if there is an interview - I don't see any issues with it, but I personally think the reason for transfer is the extreme backlog. So transferring it will expedite the processing. Stay positive, we almost there!

The letter and original greencard together should just fine as long as you are coming back before the expiration of the letter.
 
 
On a separate note.
Just applied N-400 on the 1st of December.

Seems like some movement is occurring. I have still not heard anything regarding my I-751 or my N-400. My patience isn't the greatest at the best of times, but I have managed to remain patient thus far, but I am beginning to wish I hadn't bothered with my N400 application.

I will apply for the citizenship as soon as my window opens on Dec 10th. Tired of waiting, and if CSC continues in this pace, I will get my citizenship before they even look at my I-751 file
