  1. I don’t want to disappoint you but in the sane boat and I have been waiting for 8 months to get an oath letter while my I-751 was approved 2.5 months after my N-400 interview. Majority of cases get approved in few weeks though so hopefully you will hear something good soon
  2. I have heard people get asked if they have traveled internationally after the interview. I have also read 2 cases where they went sent home and refused to take the oath until they get cleared again.
  3. I haven’t been following the ROC anymore but you should find out that easily from the ROC threads. Follow the one with the same month you applied in. Mine took 2 years and 4 months for no reason! Once we were called out for an interview we were approved in 15 mins.
  4. I didn’t contact my congressman office. From what I heard usually you get the same answer you get when you file a case out of processing time. I filed 2 cases out of processing time and got a response to wait for 90 days. I also sent a letter to the IO letting him know ( in case he didn’t know) that I got the ROC approved. And I didn’t get any letters from USCIS regarding background check or RFE. My entire case was not out of processing time but it turned that way 3weeks ago. I’m just waiting two more weeks for the 90 days to expire. I’ll submit a new one soon, if I get the same answer, I’ll probably send a letter to the director of the office, if I don’t hear something different, I’ll seek a legal action against USCIS.
  5. I don’t want to disappoint you but I had the same situation and my ROC got approved 2.5 months after the N400 interview and N400 is still pending till this moment ( it’s been over 7 months) all what I get from them is still under processing. Good news is I have seen people with the same situation got approved in few weeks. So I hope you won’t be delayed as me!
  6. I’m in the same boat with a wait of 7 months after my interview. That doesn’t mean it would happen to you as most cases like yours get scheduled for an oath within few weeks. Just keep it in the back of your mind that it might take longer!
  7. To the officer or to the head of office? I tried the officer but didn't hear back from him for 2 months already.
  8. May I ask who did you send the letter to? I'm in similar situation being over the 120 days with 3 service requests and no further action.
  9. Hello guys, Can anyone advise what to do? I have attended my N-400 interview at Los Angeles office while I had my I-751 pending. The officer said everything was fine but the I-751 has to be approved prior to scheduling the oath ceremony. My I-751 got approved 2.5 months after but I haven't heard anything about my N-400. I submitted an inquiry for out of processing time after 120 days of the interview (As the form N-652 says)and they got back to me in less than a week saying it's still under processing and I can reach out to them again if I don't receive any response within 90 days. (Now I need to wait another 90 days before I can submit another inquiry?!) I have read through few topics here and a lot of people say by law, they have to give me a decision within 120 days and now I'm passed 150 days after my N-400 interview. I even tried to send a letter with the officer attention letting her know that my I-751got approved but that didn't help either (I sent this letter right after I got the approval notice for I-751) I'm really sick of waiting and wanted to see if anyone had a similar situation with Los Angeles office... Thanks in advance!

  11. Thanks afrocraft for your reply. I have heard similar opinions to your approach. I think I'd leave that to be my last option. I'm assuming my application is left behind in the drawers and I'm just trying to see if I can do anything to make them open my application and make a decision.
  12. Thanks Ksp9 for your reply! Yes, I got my 10 years GC. And I got no decision can't be made. Interview went really well but he said I-751 has to be approved first... Status online is stuck on We scheduled your interview (almost 7 months without updates.)
