I apologize to anyone that my initial posting from yesterday may have affected in anyway. My intentions were meant as an encouragement and not anger from frustration or otherwise. I see from some responses that some folks think I am spiteful/envious to fellows that filed same period as me and have gotten their interview dates already. That is not the case, in fact it is a thing of joy that they are not stuck there in NVC, because if they are, then it will further ripple down to affect us that are yet to get there (first-in -  first out).
 
We are all on this journey together and it doesn’t matter to me who gets to the finish line first. Again, I apologize to anyone that took offense, please my intentions are positive encouragement only. The back and forth responses has been a case of misunderstanding on both my sides.
 
I wish you all successful immigration journey all through to the end. 

I understand both sides to this journey. Binna Binna and AnlJrny are equally right and both entitled to express themselves. I hope after much cooling off we all can get along because we all share a common thread and that is this process. Some wait longer than others but we will get through it. I think those of us waiting over 7 months need to take a break from this forum and regroup so that we can refocus and continue to be a source of strength for each other. We are going to need the strength to see us through and it makes no sense to build a divide. Emotions are high right now and things expressed maybe interpreted incorrectly. I hope we don't let this journey ruin the online comrade that is building and that has built as we are going to need each other for support as we all pass this first phase because there will be more waiting and more policies that will delay the process. Hope we all get along for our sakes.

I believe everyone has the right to share their feelings about this process, and it's different for everyone. I also understand what it has been said about not having to be in someone else's shoes and that's fine, but this is where empathy plays a huge factor, and how we relate to each other. Personally, that's not my style. Just as some people are getting approved in 2-5 months and that makes me envious but still I'm happy for them, I'm also well aware that there are people waiting longer and in more extreme situations than me, and it makes me grateful. The fact that I can complain about my 8-month current wait doesn't mean I can't support those who have been waiting either longer or even those that waited less. In the end, we are all in this together and we're trying to stay afloat, alone, in couples, with our families, and as an online community.
 
We are on edge and we might take things the wrong way, but most of us don't mean any harm at all.  I'm truly ecstatic that many couples and families are about to be reunited. But it is also true that practically all of us still waiting for a NOA2 would give anything to have the problem of an interview that's a couple of months away. Man, not knowing when I'll be approved or if there will be an RFE even at this point, is stressing me out so much. That's why I understand where some people are coming from. 
 

I see folks here complaining that their interview date is too far at the same time there are folks in same Jan filers group that have not gotten NOA2... Guys, seriously though, you should really be happy and content that you have an interview date, imagine if you are in the shoes of your fellow Jan filers that haven't seen NOA2, what would you be saying instead?

Some good news from Nebraska, they are officially approving January cases 
 
Based on some random cases I am tracking on "Case Tracker" app, I see quite a handful approvals today (Sept 25) for January PDs mostly 1st and 2 week in January.
 
My heart continues to go out to folks with Aug to Dec PDs cases that are still pending. There is hope for Nebraska, all these waiting will soon be over.

Oh Most definitely you lifted a lot of hopes. Congrats!!!

Exactly it really don't matter who sent it.no one is worry about that part, everyone want to hurry get done and have there love one beside them.

I am glad you got good news and something to give you some comfort amidst the horrific Harvey devastation in Houston.

Not necessarily, I think things will move faster once November and December backlogs are cleared. Based on VJ Current Processing Times, the other service centers are moving quite faster now since they cleared November and December files. Both Potomac and Texas already in February. Understandably, they don't receive as much I-130 applications as Slowbraska.

Thanks  to God we are finally approved. ......I wish you all still waiting fast approval in jesus name

For those in Nebraska chill out, spend the summer as better as possible and relax. We don't expect anything until September/October. Prepare the papers and keep anxiety as low as possible, we can't do anything else. Good luck.
 

I think that no matter what happens, we should ALL write to our senators and let them know how long Nebraska takes and how unfair the whole process is. I see no reason why this could not be made more efficient. If their application assignment process were more evenly distributed from the very beginning I feel like that would already be a tremendous improvement. If Potomac and whoever else are only a few months behind while Nebraska is 7-9, send 2 out of every 3 applications you receive directly to the other processing centers! It seems so obvious and so easy to fix.
 
The squeaky wheels get the grease! And write to both your senators, I see no reason why this shouldn't have bipartisan support. If Repubs want to clean up immigration and want people to do it the legal way, they need to commit to improving the process. And I'm sure Dems would not want people to be stuck in limbo this long.
 
Best of luck to everyone, I'm on day 122 and going for my third visit to my husband this year. Thank god for frequent flyer miles. I am grateful I have a job that allows me to be gone so much and my heart breaks for those of you stuck apart until this process is over. But we will all make it through. And our relationships should be all the stronger for it!
