My fiancé had his interview today in Moscow. Staff was very friendly, the whole interview was about 5 minutes. Visa was approved!!! Now waiting for the passport with visa and can buy tickets. I can't believe this horrible waiting will be over soon.

My fiance initially scheduled interview on February 7, then was able to rescheduled on January 24. Just check it every day.

I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to check my status again (it is an obsession, I guess) - it was changed to Ready (without being In Transit). This morning I received a letter from the embassy in Moscow that I can schedule the interview. it is the best New Year present I have ever got!!!

Interview in Moscow was scheduled on February, 7, the earliest possible date.

I am not sure if it is different depending on the country. In Russia my fiancé was told medical should be at least 2 days prior to the interview. He scheduled it on January 10, 2018. His interview is on February 7, 2018.

When case was ready, I got an e-mail from the embassy that I can schedule the interview, then my fiancé filled DS-160, paid the fee and got another e-mail from the American embassy in Moscow. He registered at traveldoc and was able to schedule the interview.

Interview in Moscow was scheduled on February, 7, the earliest possible date.

My status changed overnight from At NVC to Ready without transit part.
