They already mentionned "review" before we got the 2nd NOA2. The congress person told us that the USCIS to wait to avoid to have conflict due to a miscommunication...
We've been proactive as much as possible but the congress person told us to be "careful" to avoid conflict. So now we are worried about contacting the USCIS...
Hang in there. Hopefully you'll get some good news tomorrow.

I have like 2014,15,16 tax returns but i have the entire paperwork lol! As the transcripts website never works apparently . Also we have my fiancé current work contract as his employer don’t do letters of employment etc, we have latest bank statements , pay stubs , w2 , stocks and bonds proof . And he’s on $70,000 a year so I hope we are good :-)
The site worked for me after turning off my ad blocker.

Does anyone know if the tax return transcripts can be the transcripts we get online from the IRS website or if we need to order the ones in the mail? Same with W2s? Can we just print the stuff online?
You can use the online ones. Select immigration in the drop-down and it will tell you which ones to print.

Completely speaking for myself only... be as proactive as you can and DEFINITELY call USCIS.
If you are past all of the waiting periods (ie, 6weeks from USCIS to NOA2, etc) you must be your own advocate and continue to question and inquire until you get answers.
Just be really careful they don't mention the word "review". Any review will cause delays. That's probably what the congressman is warning about.

The email does lack any real answer to the enquiry. However, I am sure they will work to get the information.
I wonder what the the real reason for the delay is...
If you find out, let me know lol I got an email from USCIS saying they've been experiencing severe delays in November. I was like really...

Thank you for your answer.
The fact is that I accept easily than we have to wait for receiving our cases and we are totally aware of it.
The fact is that we received the "real" NOA2 on September 19....
But they unfortunately messed up and so this is why we have a second NOA2 on December 6....
So in total since our original NOA2 it's been almost 12 weeks... very frustrating.
Even if i know waiting is the only option for now....
We put our name on the spreadsheet - Deborah & Joel.
I will actualize our timeline
I hope you and the others from our group that had paperwork mistakenly sent to the NRC get case numbers soon. If you have already received an email from the CSC, you can reply to it and they will answer. If you haven't emailed the CSC, do that soon. Explain to them that you've had two NOA2's and your paperwork has not been mailed since 9/19.

We are July 10 i129f filers, hoping to get an NOA2 within the next few weeks (I know it’s not very predictable). I’m the USC and I’m expecting our first baby Feb 13th. Is it okay to get the financial documents-specifically a letter from my bank confirming balance and stuff, already have all of my tax documents and employer letter- in order for the affidavit of support as soon as we receive the NOA2? Or should i wait until the interview is scheduled to get that? If I’m able to get everything ready on my end before our son is born, I’d like to since it may be a bit of a challenge while I’m caring for a newborn. Thanks for any advice!
I would check your embassy's site. Mine said financial documents are valid as long as they are no more than a year old.

I'm glad I read this information. I was going to take some wedding photos and have a party with friends and family in Japan. It blows my mind that anyone could be considered "too married." That's ridiculous.

Unfortunately I don't live in California, so I can't advise you on that. What happened is I contacted my local congressman twice. The first time nothing useful happened. The second time my information got forwarded from my local congressman to one of my state senators. Once that happened everything started moving.

Which senator in California did you contact ?
Which advice would you give me?
I saw also you received your case number. Congrats !!!
Thanks! I hope you get yours soon!

Well I am following your case strictly (also because I'm also doing it in japan and you were the first case I came across to) I wouldn't wish that mess on anyone it made me so angry.. I'm sincerely happy to see your case moving, and Im sure japan side will be smooth.
can you please let us know if they send the beneficiary any package from the embassy by the way? I'm debating on updating my address in the future or just put the new one on the ds-160
Absolutely. We are under the impression that the beneficiary will receive a packet. We have been reading up about this process on Japanese sites and they all talk about getting a packet from the embassy.

Jealous. We contacted our congressman weeks ago and heard nothing back.
Second time was the charm for me I'm just relieved to have the case moving again. This process was starting to take a toll on our relationship. I haven't seen my fiance in person since March when we applied.

Isn't that the truth

I got the same email today, but when i called NVC they didnt get anything yet. Im curious on how they expedited it. Electronically? or other means. I would assume they do both.
Mine was definitely sent electronically. I'm just not sure why they don't do that for everyone.

I have regular contact with my congressman is well. Can you tell me how your process went? I got an email yesterday, rather the day before, from her stating that she had contacted USCIS and ask them to please locate the file.
They told her to call back in 30 days.
I got an email from him today saying he contacted USCIS. Shortly after that I received an email from the CSC saying my case had been forwarded to the NVC. I called the NVC after work and they asked me a lot more questions than normal and then told me my case had arrived today and had been expedited. I received my case, invoice number and instructions. All of this happened today.

You can expedite the NVC portion, but it's usually not necessary.

Just wanted to check how everyone in here is doing. I got this today from the CSC - "Your case has been forwarded to the National Visa Center. Please allow 30 days from the date of this letter for the NVC to receive the case and enter it into the systems." Hopefully it means my case is really, actually, seriously, finally going to the NVC.

Wow what happened@?
First my paperwork was sent to the NRC by mistake and then, after they got my paperwork back and gave me a new NOA2 date, they misplaced my paperwork. I finally got this today, though - "Your case has been forwarded to the National Visa Center. Please allow 30 days from the date of this letter for the NVC to receive the case and enter it into the systems."

Wow Cant believe it took that long. Your the current record holder for longest days for NVC. lol. Im right behind you at 59 days and still waiting.
Congrats
I've been waiting since 9/18/17 and I was informed that my case is still at the CSC. Can I have a medal?

Does anyone know if the status on the USCIS status ever changes after NOA2 approval. like sent to NVC or anything. Or does it just stay like that?
It doesn't change, unfortunately.

November 8 did not receive yet😭😭😭😭😭
My original NOA2 was 9/18/17 and expired last week. I had to have USCIS send me a new NOA2 just so my case wouldn't expire before it got mailed to the NVC. I have been waiting since 9/18 for my case to get MAILED to the NVC. I feel your pain

Great timing... If you are able, calling at the end of the day is usually easiest anyway
