No problem..and I would advice you to go ahead and get everything ready for the NVC stage so that you don't have to wait long after you get a case number- like get the police clearance certificates, irs transcripts, translate birth certificates etc, i.e. things that take time

You will have some time NVC gets your case and assigns a case number..use this time to read through the NVC guides and the problems other NVC filers had so you can avoid them (there are NVC filers topics under IR1/CR1 forum) and put together the papers you need. I recently also posted asking if I got everything and someone replied with what they did that pretty much covers everything you need for NVC-go through those too-might be helpful!
You really don't need a lawyer

    Hello,
Since you are submitting Tax Return for 2017  with W2, you did not need 2014. They only need the recent tax return or tax transcript, but it is good to give three years.
Seem like you have everything covered. I did not see anything you missed. This is how i arrange my package
Coverletter that explains what i have in the package sent both the IV and AOS
Then i have Document Cover Sheet Checklist (got from welcome letter)
i have 2 Manila Envelopes: one for IV and one for AOS
In IV Manila Envelope i put (on the Envelope i put Beneficiary full name, DOB and my name, DOB and Case number)
    1.     Immigrant Visa Document Cover Sheet (after paying IV Bill)
    2.     Photocopies of Supporting Documents of beneficiary
    ·         Valid, unexpired passport biographic data page
    ·         Birth Certificate
    ·         Marriage Certificate
    ·         Police Certificates
In AOS Manila Envelope i put ( on the Envelope i put Beneficiary full name, DOB and my name, DOB and Case number)
    1.     Affidavit of support  Document  Cover Sheet
    2.     Financial Documents
    ·         Signed form I-864EZ
    ·         2016 Tax Transcript
    ·         2015 Tax Transcript
    ·         2014 Tax Transcript
    ·         Form W-2s for 2016, 2015 and 2014
    ·         Letter of Employment
    Pay Stubs last 6 months

And all of this i put UPS Courier and sent it out.
Here is a sample Cover letter i used

If you look under the timelines, you will get an idea for how long to wait. A lot of us waited for anywhere between 200-300 days before the I-130 got approved...they also give you an estimate for your approval under your own timelines. Also, if you click on "immigration timelines" there is a list of "Processing dates for common forms" which is gathered from user data and is more up to date than the USCIS website...just look at them to get an idea
