Hey all,

I am waiting for my case number from NVC and wanted to go ahead and get everything ready for the NVC process and I have a few questions.

Since I just filed for my taxes for 2017, should I just include the W-2 + 1040 and the IRS transcripts for 2016, 2015 and 2014? I also have recent paystubs and can easily get an employment letter signed by my supervisor.

For the AOS packet therefore I will have:

Barcoded cover sheet that we get after paying AOS bill

Cover letter

I-864 filled out

W2 plus tax return for 2017 and IRS transcripts for 2016, 2015 and 2014

Employment letter

Recent Paystubs

Also question about the I-864: the question about immunization on the DS-260, I don't think my husband has all the immunizations, can we just state what we have on the form? He will probably end up getting whatever else he needs during the medical appt right?

For the IV Packet

Barcoded Cover Sheet that we get after paying IV Bill

Cover Letter

Copy of Beneficiary's passport

Copy of Beneficiary's birth certificate + certified translation

Copy of Marriage certificate

Copy of Beneficiary's Police Clearance Certificates

Ofcourse with the case number on all the documents!

Does this all sound enough? Am I missing something?

Also When I include the copy of the IRS transcripts and W2 etc, does he have to bring the "Originals" to the interview? I only have copies of everything.

Thanks for answering!

Hello,

Since you are submitting Tax Return for 2017  with W2, you did not need 2014. They only need the recent tax return or tax transcript, but it is good to give three years.

Then i have Document Cover Sheet Checklist (got from welcome letter)

i have 2 Manila Envelopes: one for IV and one for AOS

In IV Manila Envelope i put (on the Envelope i put Beneficiary full name, DOB and my name, DOB and Case number)

1.     Immigrant Visa Document Cover Sheet (after paying IV Bill)

2.     Photocopies of Supporting Documents of beneficiary

·         Valid, unexpired passport biographic data page

·         Birth Certificate

·         Marriage Certificate

·         Police Certificates

In AOS Manila Envelope i put ( on the Envelope i put Beneficiary full name, DOB and my name, DOB and Case number)

2.     Financial Documents

·         Signed form I-864EZ

·         2016 Tax Transcript

·         2015 Tax Transcript

·         2014 Tax Transcript
