  1. Hi everyone. I need help with something. On the 26th of January, 2017.. I got CC with NVC and I was real ecstatic. However, I just received an email for checklist. The ONLY thing I am missing, according to them, is the w2 for 2016. It states on the email that they will still send a letter to both me and my spouse with interview date soon and to just bring the missing document to the interview. I was confused because I had already sent the w2 for 2016 along with he 1040 and I864 during the gathering of my AOS and IV packets. I called NVC and asked the man if there are more than ONE sheet of w2 form per year, he said no. I told him I had already submitted it and he just said to bring the w2 form, to the interview and there's no need to do another i864. Just bring w2 to interview. So does this mean I take the SAME w2 I submitted to nvc? Does it mean they lost it? Or are they indeed more w2 forms per year? Idk, he made me doubt it.

Thanks for all the help. Good luck to you all!

Has anyone tried to contact the NVC regarding their case, our scan date is 12/8/2017 and we have yet to hear anything. We know it could take up to 11 weeks, but on January 6th we got an email stating our DS-260 was missing (we submitted that 12/1/2017). I can never get a straight answer out of them,  I called once after 6 weeks to be sure the document is squared away and the woman literally said "It will take up to 11 weeks so stop worrying" and that was it. When I call I always something on the lines of no one really knows or feels like checking, (well did you submit the DS-260, when did you do that?....things like that)  I feel like for as long as we've been waiting they should at least know where our documents are. They're only doing their jobs but lately it has been getting very frustrating, does anyone have any suggestions?

They used to tell me the same. After submitting everything, a week after I got an email saying I need to submit my ds260. I called and gave them the date I did it and they confirmed it. But they said it didnt show on their system due to issues and it will take 11 weeks to fix.

I got CC Jan 26. I think they just say they have issues so you have a reason to wait >.>

We paid a couple of days ago the AOS $120 fee. It now shows "PAID", but when we go to our checking account, no money was taken out.

    Question please:

    a) Is this normal?

    b) How soon after AOS fee appears "paid" will the "IV" fee be invoices?

That happened to me. I had paid the aos and iv fee. On the site it said paid but it wasn't withdrawn so I called and nvc said it never went through. It was a glitch. So I made sure with my bank and sure enough it never went through so I did it over and paid it

  4. I would include ANY address.

As for how to organize the I130 packet well it depends on how you want to organize it. What I did is I typed up a cover letter (Saying: My name is ________ Enclosed, please find the following documents) I made bullet points ( - My husband's birth certificate. - My passport.. and so on) and the way I wrote the cover letter it's how I organized it.

HOWEVER, the money order I made sure was the first thing they'd see

Oops.. This NVC process is by grace, what applies to others might not apply to you. Anyways by Gods grace, we all waiting shall get Cc very soon🤞🏻

Well of course, I know that. I dont think the process goes SOLELY on my experience as I was also paranoid from different responses of people who had gone through NVC before me. It depends on the day the officer is having, the workload, luck, organization. I was just stating MY experience to give solace to someone who could have possibly forgotten to put N/A on some things. Showing them that leaving blanks doesn't necessarily mean checklist. It might, it might not.

  6. The VJ timeline is estimation based on VJ member timelines. USCIS isn't correct either because they only update their website every 3 to 4 months BUT even if you call USCIS they go by the information on their website. So you'd have to wait. Some people do get approved faster. I was just like you and I know how stressful it is. I was in Nebraska center for 2 months then got transferred to the Texas one, it still took a long time. I even thought I would get denied because my husband is from Egypt. But hang in there. My application got approved and is now at the NVC waiting for my embassy interview. It took about a year since I filed in October 2016 to approve my application through USCIS August 31 2017 (on my birthday haha) With NVC I was there from September till January 26. My case got done yesterday, just waiting interview. So believe me, it gets stressful but it is worth it and can be done. Maybe your spouse can visit you during that time if possible.

    Wow 😮 Congratulations 🎊🍾🎉

The wait time is no joke .. Your Cc is 27 but I thought NVC doesn’t work Saturdays ..

Oh, I came the last few months to wait it out with my husband in Egypt. It's the 27th here. But yeah US would be 26 hehe sorry

Also, I was paranoid because I had left some blanks that didn't apply to me on my i864 . For example, the interpreter part. Lots of people kept saying I should have put n/a or I'd get checklisted but it's all good.

In case anyone here was wondering the same.
