Yeah, i hardly sleep either, its really hard to focus on anything. I always dream about getting approved too. Question, i have two apps on ny iphone: case tracker that one has an esgle on the icon and USCIS app which had white abd red stripes and blue with white stars... looks like the flag. Where do i check the cases?? Or are you guys talking about a different app?

I use one that has an American flag shield called USCIS app. And i click the bell icon on the top right to check what cases have been approved. I also have another called Uscis Case and looks like the US map.

My husband called uscis, he didne know about tier 2 so he didnt ask to be tranfered, tier 1   told him they are still processing cases from august 30th, that it may take two more months for us to get a decission. Im gonna ask him to call again in his day off, im in Mexico and since im not the petitioner they wont give me any information regardless the case. Have you spoke to tier 2? What did they say?

I haven't spoken to tier2 because apparently the website still hasn't been updated so it doesn't show my case to be outside of processing times. So I am waiting for the time to pass, maybe a miracle will happen and I will get the letter soon. And hell no, Nebraska already approved some from OCT. I am in Texas center though. I did start in nebraska.

It was for april 12th to the 21st i think...

Have you tried contacting USCIS and spoken to tier 2. If so, just give it till the end of may. I'd wait one month after VJ estimated time.

I also heard that USCIS updates their processing times every few months on the 15th of the month so hopefully they will update it this 15th and then you can call USCIS so they see the time is overdue.

mine finishes in 0312, what app do you use, i heard some people that can see when others cases got approved. what i did was add those case manually to the app i use. the app is case tracker

I use 2. Uscis Case and uscis app. The first one looks like the US map and second looks like a shield. I mostly use the second one. It's where it tells me they got approved and I noticed the ending of the numbers.. but maybe it's just wishful thinking from my part.

    no, 0312, why?

I've noticed cases ending in specific numbers get approved. Like by order. Mine ends in 6357. I see ones like 6327, 6133 get approved. The ones ending in 4s, 5s or 6s aren't receiving answer yet except for few. Maybe it's just me. What 4 numbers are your last ones? My pd is Oct 31

Also, thanks to everyone who tried cheering me up. Just when you think no one understands you, I get support from you all. Even family doesn't get how stressed or disheartened I get at times. Thanks guys :)

I've talked to a Tier 2 everyday since April 20. I had an Infopass appointment today too. The only thing they can tell us is that we havcan been stuck in a background check since April 11. This is apparently why our adjudication is being delayed. W just have to wait and hope that it doesn't take too much longer.

Hopefully it won't be much longer. However if time keeps passing by, contact your congressman. I'm giving it time till beginning of june based on VJ estimate times, if not, I am calling. I see background checks happen a lot for people in the middle east or asian countries. :/

It isn't the same for us. Our NOA1 is October 6, 2016, and no end in site. I hope all is well for you and your case is completed soon.

I see by your timeline your pd is beginning of october and VJ estimated time for your application to be adjudicated has passed. My pd is Oct 31 and my estimated time is may 18- may 28. If it passed for me, I'd call. Have you tried calling and talking to a tier2 rep?

  10. Days keep passing by and I keep getting frustrated. I hardly sleep. Maybe 3 hours a night, not sure. IS anyone else experiencing stress to a degree? I'm going into 8 months of waiting for my noa2. VJ says between may 18 to may 28 I should have my case adjudicated but sometimes I lose hope.

Anyway, sorry for the bummer post. If anyone has gotten approved or at least a notice, can you update us please?

  11. In the end, it is you and her who make the decision of having a life together and giving it a shot. If you want to become Muslim, explore the religion first. Let her guide you as well. Ignore what parents feel about the relationship but be honest and stand your ground. This is for you AND her. You must both stand your ground. When I first spoke to my now husband, we had to be honest about our feelings and plans to our families. Our families haven't spoken to each other yet since they live countries away. At first we faced a lot of prejudice from both sides but mostly his. From mine because they believed the media in that all Muslims are terrorists. From his side because they have this idea that Americans sleep around, do drugs and are unstable and wild. We both fought hard. I can't say our families have an extremely positive light of us but they learned to accept our marriage for the sake of us. if that makes sense. Now we fight together for the visa process to go smoothly. He is in Egypt and I am trying to take him to the US. It will show his family that I was good for him. Not by getting to the US but realistically speaking, he can succeed more in the US than in Egypt. If God wills it and we can go to the US, he stabilizes then his family will see I was good for him and helped him improve. By traveling, my family gets to meet him and see not all Muslims are terrorists with an agenda to push their beliefs. That he is a good man that provides for me. So regardless of the circumstances, when you love someone, you stand strong together in the face of it all. Whether it's family rejection, standing for your beliefs or even the frustrating visa process that surely takes a toll.

Be honest, explore the religion, stand strong together and hopefully God will guide you within your visa process. There's nothing better than honesty. Goodluck! :D
