in uscis website I could not find the processing times for NBC, or Missouri service center. Are there any posts in this forum whihc i could read to get a better idea ?

They send application there, that in the end will require an interview at your local field office 

 

 

So he filed for Adjustment of Status would be my guess, this will require an interview at the local field office, so I believe this is normal

He stays in Virgina, wouldnt it be sent to a local office in Virginia if that was the case, instead of missouri ?

My brother filed for I-130 ( receipt date of Aug 30th, 2018) he has been married to a US citizen for 9 years. His receipt number starts with MSC, and i was cusrious as to which service center is that. Online it shows MSC is Missouri service center, but i did not know that Missouri service center processes I-130's. I thought it was only Nebraska, Potomac, Texas, California and Vermont.

He is already living in the USA, on a H-1 visa. and he has filed for i-485 concurrent filing.

My brother has applied for I-130 ( he has been married to a US Citizen for the last 9 years), his receipt date is Aug 30th  his receipt number starts with MSC, and was wondering which service center is that how long is it taking at that service center for approvals ?

Thank you. As of now the tracking information is not displayed, but hopefully in a day or two it should.

I'am hoping we get the green card by Saturday, I guess i'am being optimistic..  🙂

Card Was Mailed To Me

On October 25, 2018, we mailed your new card for your Form OS155A, Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, Receipt Number XXXXXXXX, to the address you gave us

 This is what is showing up on the uscis case status, maybe they will update the tracking number information in a day or two.

when you say tracked the card on uscis abd USPS tracking site, how did you do it, did you have any tracking number ?

I have not yet received the card yet, i only received the email that the card has been mailed. I have signed up for informed delivery on usps, that way i will know if i'am due to receive any USPS mail or package.

@Sugarlegetiti , @Ajt3 , @Abies for the green card tracking information, did you receive an email ? . I received an email yesterday night, that the USCIS has mailed the card. I was just curious on how to track it..

For my father, we had him write an affidavit where we listed out the different names and spellings and the different ways it could be written and had he attest to the fast that he is the same person. you could look into something like that.

My mother has arrived on an IR-5 visa ( green card petition for the parent), we were told it takes 45-180 days before we receive the physical green card or permanent resident card.

Generally how long is it taking for everyone to receive their card ?

After entered the United States, generally how long before you receive the green card ( the website states less than 120 days), but was curious on how long is it taking currently.

My mother had her interview on 25th sept at Mumbai India. her status says as "Issued" how ling before her passport is ready for pickup.

And another question, my case is non-pivot when do they give the sealed envelope, is it when i pick up the passport ?, as they did not give anything at the interview even though she was approved.

I had filed for IR-5 ( green cards for parents of US Citizen) and the interview is scheduled at 25th sept at Mumbai Consulate in India, but unfortunately my father has passed away,  what are the steps which i need to do to let uscis know, or Mumbai consulate know about this, so that it does not affect my mothers interview. and do i need to send in a scanned death certificate to anyone ?

quick question, me and a spouse are in the united states and need to get a affidavit or notary that we will be financially responsible for my parents, my question is where and how do i do it. Do i just  print it out on a paper and get it notarized ?

or should be doing something else ?

For the Tax Transcripts, did anyone download it from the IRS website ? or do i have to call them and ask them to mail them ?

how or where could i check if a person can sponsor two cases. I think it should be fine as I am sponsoring my parents , and its considered 2 cases ( separate case numbers and all).

For the joint sponsor my sister in law who is a US Citizen is completing the form I-864, her spouse ( my brother) is on H1 and working in the United States ( it is a working visa, but they have filed for IR1/CR1, green card for the spouse , it is not yet approved for him) my question is should he file a I-864A, and could my sister in law include his income in her I-864..
