Hello! Just wanted to drop a note saying that my Vermont Service Center / EAC I-751 ROC was approved on April 3! No RFE, no interview request. Even during this time, the government is working hard for us. Good luck to all still waiting!!

Depends on your service center and if you need an interview or not.
Those of us who ended up at CSC shouldn't expect anything until at least 1,5 year after filing. We should be happy if it happens faster than that.

JJ&LK reacted to ricky90501 in Do we need a letter from my husband's employer (AOS interview)?
Because employers get these requests all the time they often issue standard letters that state that the employee is employed full time as a ______ and annual salary. Your husband probably just needs to request one from HR and he can probably get one pretty quickly.

JJ&LK reacted to Suss&Camm in I-765 / I-131 EAD Card Not Delivered
I mean there are thousands and thousands of them made... I'm sure percentage wise it isn't a "problem"... and out of the ones that do get stolen, an even smaller amount are probably reported as such. BUT, for the individual, it'll be a big problem ofc...
And you are right, from previous posters it is obvious that they don't care about it.
I'm sure you will get your card just fine!

JJ&LK reacted to Sara & Mark in How many Citizenship's can one person have?
Nor does the United States recognize my Canadian citizenship, but that doesn't prevent me from being a citizen of both countries.
My question was "How many citizenship's can one person have?"
It was not my intention to start a political or religious debate and I'll not let this thread come to that either, so I'll refrain from further comment, respect your input to my original question, and leave it at that.

I have heard several stories like this on here and believe they get lost (read stolen) from time to time - which is just awful (I guess sometimes they could be actually lost lol). In any case, if you get approved at your interview ask them then and there if they can stamp your passport (i-551 stamp) right there since you will be needing it for work.

JJ&LK reacted to charmander in In preparation for RoC in Dallas
I-751 are mostly adjudicated at USCIS Service Centers, not the field offices. There are only two locations for ROC filings; California and Vermont Service Center. You should feel really happy moving to Dallas because Texas residents file I-751s to California Service Center, which is much much faster than the Vermont Center.
A small percentage of cases (maybe around 10%) are later transferred to local field offices for an interview if the initial evidences or later submitted evidences if RFE'd are not found sufficient. At that point workload of the local field offices would matter. I believe Dallas office is not the best place to be in that case but as long as you guys prepare well; you'd get approved by the Service Centers .

JJ&LK reacted to f&c in In preparation for RoC in Dallas
Removal of conditions applications are handled by service centers. If you are living in Texas at the time of ROC, you would send your application to the California Service Center. You would go to the local office only if they decide an interview is needed.

JJ&LK got a reaction from Allie D in Do we need a letter from my husband's employer (AOS interview)?
Hi Allie,
The language on your Interview Notice is quite generic. They give all applicants the same list of what to bring, regardless of if you have already submitted those documents, or if they were up to the standard they require. I have read testimony of the interviews saying that they very often don't ask for those documents again, but do require you to have them in the event that they do want to see them. It doesn't hurt to bring along everything they ask for, even if those things are already in your original application. I wouldn't read into the semantics too much, they just want you to be prepared to answer questions about every aspect of your application and made sure that all of the information you submitted originally is still valid and current.
I hope this helps!
