  1. I would not have risked mailing original GC. I rather go to the office. So if I apply for U.S Passport without updating SSA it would be denied? At least I can register to vote after Oath?
  2. I have many years left for my driver license to expire. No need to change address. I have to go in DPS and tell them to change status?
  3. So what do I tell SSA? Bring my certificate and also fill out the application to get a new unrestricted SSC? I don’t think this can be done online? I know I could have removed the SSC to unrestricted when I got my GC but it wasn’t needed. Was this mandatory to do? I cannot apply for passport until I do this? DPS is Department of Public Safety in Texas. We get our Driver License there.
  4. Do we have to inform SSN and DPS of our status change after Oath? I still have the restriction social security card that has DHS on it.
  5. April 22, 2024 Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed 5/8/24 8am Oath.

  7. How come I can’t see the documents submitted to USCIS anymore nor the docs that USCIS mails us in my account?

  9. As far as I know you have to verbally answer unless accommodation.
  10. Oh ok. I know there is no real dress code to get you kicked out but since we will be USC isn’t it better to wear western clothes? For men it can be navy blue suit.
  11. Indirectly these questions are in Civic but not directly. Vote is the only big difference from GC holder but of course a lot more security for life being a USC.
