We put the date when USCIS received the petition application. It's also the date that appears on the case status at USCIS' website when they received it.
I see. Thank you. 😊

Totally fine. Don't worry about it. Born a USC pretty much explains it all... plus the required evidence - birth certificate or U.S. passport.
Thank you so much.

Thank you for sharing your point of view. I agree on some things and not that much on others.
I still thing scans were more accurate for a mere statistical question: the bigger the sample, the more precise the estimation. That's a fact.
Same reason why I even started a thread once to ask people to please update their timelines and do it the right way so the result is as consistent as possible.
Right now? Scans are a waste of time mostly and, overall, a potential cause of stress and additional frustration we don't need, given how proving is already this whole process.
What really frustrates me right now? The fact we are blinder than ever because now the electronic notification system doesn't work. Or even worse, it does for a few but not for the most, which makes this even more unfair. It's funny how we pay more than few months ago but get a much worse service in terms of information we get. Apart from that I don't question the rise in fees, because that happens everywhere.
That said, I've never complained about people working at USCIS. They do a hell of a lot of work. Are you even aware of how many petitions they have to process monthly? We love birds are just a few drops in the pond. The amount of petitions they receive only for alien relatives is overwhelming. And that can be parents wanting to reunite with their offspring and all kind of drama.
Of course we only see how hard is our particular situation. I'm really tired of having life putting sticks in the metaphorical bike that is this relationship... It's been incredibly hard and hopeless at some points. But we overcame it and now its just a matter of time and bureaucracy. Frustrating, yes. Worthy, yes. Will I have really bad days caused for delays and waiting? I will. But it is what it is and I'll try to be over it.
In the end, the best part of being here is knowing everyone else understands you. Let's keep each other informed and give us mutual support. I'm here for whatever you need.
One day more, one day less

Thank you for doing this. I like the charts! I have no doubt that the data is skewed. It's unbelievable that 300 cases have been touched for Feb and only ONE approval. Anyway, I've been checking the mail...nothing yet.
Hi there..
I am from April Filer, just want to ask how do you run the data?
Hope you can teach me.
Thank you so much in advance.

I see people with their timeline listing below the line in a signature. How do you do that?
Hi sis,
For me I just type them in.

You should be fine. But technically an annulment means you were not married. Worst case, you may need to submit a letter of explanation.
Hi, thank you.
I do have all my annulment documents. No problem, if the USCIS would ask for that. We included all my annulment documents in the packet.

Not only should it be fine, I think it would be preferred.... because as you said, "single" implies "never married" in my mind too. Marking "divorced" allows them to expect further documentation showing divorce or annulment.
Either way, the adjudicators are human and will be able to read and understand the evidence in front of them.
As long as you are "free to marry" and can prove it - a checkbox is of little consequence.
Thank you guys, for giving me positive inputs.

I see no issue with the I-129F, if it doesn't offer an annulment choice then divorced is what I would use.
choose divorced on the DS-160 also if there is not an annulment box, and bring copies of your documents to the interview.
Thank you very much.
Greatly appreciated. ☺☺☺

,
Good day!
I have a question for you, I am an annulled individual, my fiance ticked the "Divorced" for my status in our I129F form. I have read some inputs here, that it .should be "Single" , but single means "never married" . We have attached all the supporting documents which will prove that I am legally able to marry, Court Decision, Decree of Absolute Nullity of Marriage and Entry of Judgment (Certificate of Finality.
Do you think there will be an issue about my status? In filling out my DS160, shall I choose "single" or "divorce" (just like the one in I129F?)
Please help my confusions be enlighten
Thank you

My pleasure. The Philippines forum is an awesome source of detailed information as well. So make sure you take a peek in there as well. Sagot, Hank and Greenbaum are experts on the Visa Journey through the Manila embassy.
On that note Happy May Day! We have made it to the end of April.
Time moves on and we all are one step closer to the goal. Let's hope it is a relatively smooth journey for us all.
Yes, you are correct!!! One good thing, waiting has it's ending and hopefully the soonest time possible. No RFE. God sees iur hearts desire. Keep the faith!

Divorced is correct since you have been married in the past. This is another question however that would be better asked in the main k-1 forum or even the Philippines forum since you can draw from the community as a whole.
Thank you for your reply.I posted my inquiry in K1 forum. 😊

Good (very early morning)! I'm a 2nd time filer (same fiance).
Feel free to ask any questions about the process, I'll be glad to help in any way that I can!
My first K1 was received March 2015 and we were stuck in the Texas Service Center backlog for 8 months (this was before they began routing all I-129F petitions to CSC). I'm so thankful that petitions are moving so quickly now!
Here's to us!

Ok, thank you for your reply
So it's an advice, not mandatory. Well, I'm pretty sure we won't get a RFE just because of pictures anyway... Unless it's the passport ones and those meet the requirements
No RFE"s. Everyone's prayer.☺👍

Welcome to the April filers forum! And good luck to you too indeed
@Estabaliz, hi. Aside from reading some inputs here and blogs from other website, I watched some tips in You tube as well. Most of filers advised to print real photos. ☺
