Aww, thank you... but nope.
They also told us not to call option 5 again, since they deal with electronic cases, but the usual 7... therefore I assume ours is not going to be electronic, maybe because Spain doesn't have that yet, which is something I was kind of thinking it might be the case, and they did ask what was our Embassy.
We'll try on Wednesday again, probably...
Awwww im sorry but this truly is nothing compared to the wait on the noa2. We got this 💪
We will try again on Friday and since Germany is part of the electronical case system we go with 5.
Well if I hear some good news about your case on Wednesday I might as well ask wayne to call sooner (doe-eyed, of course 😬)
Here is some luck to share for everyone 🍀🍀🍀🍀

That was quick! Did you call Immigrant, option 5? It seems USCIS didn't send our date yet
I'll guess we'll call anyway, since it's not a major waste of time in terms of that... Time
@Estibaliz we also tried this morning and they haven't received ours either. But keeping my fingers crossed that they might have gotten yours already

Hey everyone!
Just thought I'd give you guys a quick update. We got our NOA 2 hardcopy in the mail today, and it is dated as of 08/11, not 08/14 like tier2 and the tracker said.
So the theory that it takes some time until it gets updated sounds pretty legit...
To anyone who is still waiting, stay positive, you're almost there....my fingers and toes are crossed for all of you.

I have no idea how their workflow goes, but it could all come down to a simple checkbox. The person handling the case may have sent NOA1 instead of NOA2 by complete and honest mistake.
Note that you will need the WAC number from the NOA2, so hopefully you were able to obtain that over the phone
As well, it's handy to know the NOA2 expiry date, as the interview MUST be completed before that date.
I was thinking the same, maybe they printed the wrong noa by accident, but that wouldn't add up to the fact that tier 2 said we got approved on the very day the letter got to my fiances dad. I guess we'll never know.
What do you mean, I need the WAC number from the noa2? From my understanding i got the WAC number as of noa1 until it gets to the nvc where we'll be provided with a new case number, or am I tracking this wrong?
I've heard about the expiry date, and will double and triple check to make sure that this is not gonna happen, thank your for your advice, though. I truly appreciate it.
And again thank you for your input and taking time to get back at me. 😊

Are you ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE this isn't the NOA2? It should arrive somewhere around 4-6 months from the time of NOA1. I mean they look completely different though, so it's hard to mix these up.
NOA1 for us was received one week after we submitted the application. Only one week. NOA2 came 4 months after that.
Might be worth the 6 and a half hour call back time!
Hello 😊
It really is the exact same copy of our noa1 we got back in april.
Luckily we received a call back within an hour and a tier 2 officer told us we were approved just now...
I still don't have an answer why we got a second noa1 when our case got approved like a few days later, but honestly didn't ask because I was so happy to be approved.
What a hell of a Rollercoaster ride that hour was.
Your finally get that golden letter only to find out its another noa1 : bummer, waiting for a call for 390 minutes : bummer, being told you're approved after only 60 minutes : priceless.
Thank you for your reply though and good luck to you on what ever part of your journey you may be right now

Guten Morgen!

I hardly ever checked mine, to tell the truth.
Once in awhile, like maybe twice a month, we have one of those rare days where the tracker seems to be working. We always hope that's because they finally fixed, but no... But oh well, still hoping!
I guess we'll have to see it working two days in a row to believe it's happening
Great! So you are more than safe.
Good luck gettint your NOA2 soon
Yeah @Estibaliz, I truly feel relieved now. i was still cautious because it's uscis we're dealing with. 😜

Hello everyone!
Just wanted to give you an update that my case tracker just went off to tell me about our approval yesterday.... Maybe they fixed the tracker.
Good luck to everyone. May it rain approvals this week

Congrats update the time line on the NOA 2 when you guys get a chance.
What a way to start the week!
Seems like 120 days/4 months is just about the average for now.
Thank you. Yeah will do as soon as I get the hardcopy in hand. I always need those 100% and with uscis you never know until you get the letter 😃

Aww, sorry, just pulling your leg. You know I think your Spanish is awesome
@Jasmayne Yay, congrats! Really happy you got good news. Who knows? Maybe they noticed they had screwed up and were like "Uh oh... Hurry up, grab their case and see if we can approve them ASAP"
@Estibaliz I love the way you think, it had to be like this. 😃
I still rather have my noa2 in hand, but I think I can handle the wait for the mail now 😜
Again congratulations to you and know that even though I've not been logged in for a while, I've always appreciated you trying to help everyone out, sending all those positive vibes even though you've been in the same limbo boat like all of us. You've done a lot for this community and still do! I wish you and Gary the best!

3 words, a wonderful feeling :
we got approved today 😍
Just got a call back from a tier 2 officer ( luckily we didn't have to wait 6 more hours) and he told us we got approved today.
It still makes me wonder why we got a second noa1 but at this point I'm just happy beyond measure!
Thanks to everyone who tried to help me. I hope you all will be with your loved ones soon.

Coooooongrats to you, I'm truly happy for you. Yeah, we keep trying, but all this waiting surely drives me crazy, well even more than I'm already am that is 😜
I hope and pray you're right, I was thinking the same thing but trying to forget about it since it's wishful thinking at this point. Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it

Something similar to me happened. In my case I had submitted an inquiry and since they found nothing wrong they sent me another letter basically stating what the NOA1 had. I found it strange then I just considered it an update to an inquiry.
Thank you @KeriAn we never sent an inquiry, we've just been waiting patiently like everyone else.
It's just a bummer when you think you got that golden letter only to find out it is just a copy of your noa1... And no one has answers week at least not within the next 390 minutes...

Hello everyone!
First of allcongratulations to all of you that got approved yet and good luck to those that are still waiting.
Also I apologize if this question has already been answered, but I couldn't find anything about it.
So today my soon to be father in law called my finance to tell him he got mail from uscis, of course he was getting all excited and told his dad to just email it to him so.
And it was : the exact same copy of noa 1 we got back in april😢
He called uscis and they were willing to let him talk to a tier to, but will receive a call back in! 394! Minutes... Seriously?
Anyhow I can not find anything about this topic on here. Maybe some of you read about it or are in that same situation and can help me to put my mind at rest. Any help would be appreciated.
Good luck, you guys are awesome!

There was actually someone who posted about this very same scenario a couple of weeks back. Unfortunately I can't remember on what thread it was on nor what the final outcome was. Maybe someone else who saw it can enlighten us. Or you may want to post about this in the main K-1 forum. A lot more people will see your post there.
Thank you so much @Cruise77 of remember reading about it too but couldn't find it and being all emotional right now surely doesn't help mich with searching through thousands of pages... Good luck to you and thanks again

Hello everyone!
My fiancé and I sent our petition on the 03/05! We sent it from the base he is stationed in Germany and since Saturday the USPS tracking didn't update at all, the last update we have is from Saturday " Your item departed our USPS facility in DALLAS, TX 75260 on May 6, 2017 at 5:00 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination. " I'm starting to be worried because everything else was really fast and since Saturday, even though our package is already in Dallas, it seems like nothing moved. My fiancé just tried calling USPS and it immediately went to the voicemail. Did it happen to one of you?
We sent our application from Germany as well, it took 10 days from the day we sent it to the day they received it. I hope that puts your mind at ease a little. Good luck with your journey 😊

Oh!! Where are you guys stationed? I told my fiancé but he doesn't really trust that kind of website. Well, I hope he'll find his birth certificate then ahah.
Good luck to you too!
Well he was on deployment here in Germany for 9 months, now back to Texas where he's actually stationed.
As far as I can say it is trustworthy, he got his birth certificate pretty quick.
Where you guys filing from?

Oh yes, that what I meant! I was talking about his, not mine, but that wasn't clear! I hope he can find his Birth certificate as we are applying from overseas (he is in the military).
Great, we'll do that for the pictures then, that's so much easier.
Thank you again for your help, I really appreciate it!
We also applied from overseas, my fiancée is in the military as well. You can order your birth certificate online on vitalcheck.com, that's what we did.
Good luck on your journey 😊

Heyyyy you are supposed to say, yeah, Wednesday might be the day, you are my personal ms positive vibes 😍.
What kind of deadline for the medical are you talking about, if you don't mind me asking? ( Did I miss out on something that is important, I wonder)
