Heeeeey, my dear fellow Whiners!

Look who's back - and still hasn't figured out why all of her potential profile pics are too large for VJ!

I hope you all are good and hanging in there! Hugs to everyone!

I took a couple of days off from here; not because of VJ, but because of having no time at all. 

My timeline has moved to the right as well, by now from 25th of June to July 3rd... shishhhh. But we're hanging in there.
I'm not really impatient yet, and since we're taking the waiting pretty easy so far, it's ok. 
I can't wait to move, but I am glad to have a little more time.

My household is getting a little emptier, I have ordered me pretty big boxes for shipping things over... but I'm in an anti productive stuck-phase... I've got my criminal records - that's it. No checklisting, no filing... nothing. I got no head for it, so I postponed it for now, until life gets more calm.

Ohhhhh yeah! I'll be soooooo happy to see the first ones of us Whiners jump around and be happy!  
We are later in March, but I'll be thrilled to see more and more hopefully approved!
There's still hope for me to get NOA2 by the very end of June. 
I do refuse giving up hope of a move in September!

Mine moved only 1 day back but it's exciting to see a lot of approvals in Jan and Feb groups.
Can you imagine that soon it will be our turn? So looking forward to it!

NOA2 was always sent by mail. Actually that's a document you need to keep as if it was pure gold, because you need it later for the AOS.
 
But yeah, it's annoying the system is not working for a more immediate notification. Oh well, as a March filer you still have enough time for them to fix it...

I will tell them! It's FaceTime Sunday, so I'll see them later, when he gets up! <3 

Oh, we're maniacs. I can't wait for S7. Best show EVER! 
Back when Scott was here, we made a marathon once and watched almost a full season in one piece. I think I gave up after the 2nd last episode, haha.

I actually stopped watching at season 4 😱 Didn't want to have the books spoiled thought they are two different things, books and TV show. Funny enough so did my fiancé without any kind of agreement between us, so that's something we sure can do together in the future, some nice catch up.

We adopted the sweet Miss Libby in December, as a company for his kittie who lived with him already.
I only had 3 days with my fluffy furball, and I can't wait to be back with the little family of us! <3 
At least Libby and Andora are facetiming with me as well, haha! 

Lol, my fiancé follows Jaime around the house with the iPad every time we cam. I'm sure the poor cat is going to hate me by association. So annoying

As for the profile pic, I cut out a little fragment in Paint, all my photos were too big too.
As for NOA2 to interview, I really hope it's not more that 2 months but in my country they don't send you any snail mail, you download everything from the embassy website so I won't have to wait for any packets.

So I've been stalking the January filers group and I gotta say  it's been so AMAZING watching approvals pour in for those guys after 2 weeks of dreaded nothingness. You can almost feel the excitement through the screen. So happy for them after waiting so long. Looking forward to when that excitement finally makes its way into March filers! 

It's so great seeing all of you thinking of nice ideas to get your house more welcoming and a real home for your fiance(e).
 
I can call myself lucky because I've already lived at my fiance's home for five months, 2 months early 2016 and 3 months early 2017. Everytime I've been there we've rearranged furniture in a way we both agreed it would look better and would be more comfortable for the both of us. I left some of my things there last time, so my sleepers are in the rank next to the main door, my pj's in the nightstand drawer and some of my books in the shelves. I have my own reading corner that my fiancé arranged for me before I visited first time (yep, of course... I'm a big bookworm).
 
Last March we went to a Panic! At The Disco concert because they are one of my fav bands. My fiance got a poster and after I left he framed it along with the two concert tickets. He hang it next to his own poster and ticket from a Taylor Davis concert, because he said it would be cool and just fair.
 
In February we adopted a cat together... that I miss to pieces now. We called him Jaime  (after Jaime Lannister), because he is handsome and spoiled, and also declawed. Also Game of Thrones was the reason why my fiancé started to talk to me on FB, since I had a picture sitting on the Iron Throne.
 
I have to confess I don't know why I'm posting this really, especially being an April filer. I guess part of me wants to say you don't need to do much to make your significant other feel welcomed and at home. They will feel at home just being with you. But it's always great when someone does those small things for you.
 
I guess I'm also feeling a bit down too, because it's hard when you feel your life and home is somewhere else. But oh well, I can't complain much since we have been apart for one month and a half (only) now. The longest we've been apart has been 10 months, so I should be kind of used to this. But no one should have to get used to the bad things in life.
 
I hope things keep moving forward. We deserve some luck finally... And so you do. Good luck to everyone and enjoy this weekend with your loved ones.

Soooo....if you check the January and February filers, approvals are coming in but for some reason USCIS have not been updating the database electronically. People have been receiving NOA2's in the mail so I still think mid June some of us will be seeing some "touching" and approvals!!

GOOD NEWS FOR US, GO TO JANUARY FILER AND READ THERE ARE A LOTS OF APPROVALS AND GOT NOA2 WITH DATE OF MAY 5, MAY 1 ETC AND THEY SAY THAT THEIR CASES SHOW ON USCIS WEDSITE AS RECEIVED.
so that mean that the uscis update isnt working right but they are working on cases and sending NOA2.
go to janaury filer and read many people with noa2 and no update on uscis.
so be patient and we are going to get our noa2 on time lol

These timelines have gone rogue.. They do what they want, when they want lol and the scans are coming up empty so we have no way of knowing who was really approved or how many cases they've been processing daily. It's madness out here in the VJ streets!
Like you said, at least you get a little more time to empty our the household and pack everything up. Right now you can kind of be as lazy as you want and go at your own pace. As for the time between NOA2 to Interview it could be a few months. Some cases go from NVC to Embassy within a week, others it's taking the actual 6 weeks. Another Cuba filer has been waiting almost 4 weeks with no updates from NVC (grrr).. So it could take another 2-3 months maybe to get an interview after NOA2. With all these lags I think we'll be looking at from start to finish around 8 months. (don't shoot me).
 
As for pics.. I minimized mine through Paint and uploaded it. Seemed to work once I minimized it because it kept telling me it was too big as well.

Oh man speaking of video call fails... I don't know if anything compares to the SUCKY WIFI that Cuba has along with the IMO app... You get to say Hi and then it freezes... then you hang up, call back and it's "I mis"... freeze... "hello?????" lol!! And don't let 239827193735hjfdnlkasjdndjfudfh9347839481731hjeq18 people be connected to WIFI at the same time... It's even worse! I sometimes want to throw my phone but then have to think again as it may be the most expensive thing I own right now other than my car LOL!

Welcome back!!! I keep trying to take a break from here, but I always end up back because really I don't have much else going on in my life right now.  I have been focused on getting to the gym daily and I managed to make a checklist of things that need to get done before my fiance arrives. Right now Luis and I are sort of estimating for 2-3 months between NOA2 and Interview...just the pesky wait for NOA2 for now - blah!

One more thing!!! On a positive note, February is a short month so hopefully they will zip right through February and get to us March filers! 

Even though I am pretty down about my estimated processing date being so far away, I must say, (even though I am at the VERY end of almost everyone here in March) I will be thrilled when I start seeing everyone posting that they got their NOA2!!!  Not only will I be so happy for everyone, but that will also mean that I am getting closer to receiving mine too! <3 And this is me tryna see the light at the end!! hehe And it helps me so much when my F reminds every so often that sooner than later we won't have to deal with the problems we sometimes have (like Skype being annoying or headphones being annoying... etc.) due to the distance.
He is really good at reminding me that December really is not that far away. Hopefully he will be here long before then and that is when our forever will officially start (Dec wedding date here). Anyone else have a date or just playing it by ear to be safe? I'm an ISTJ and I can't just sit back and not make a date! lol Even though it makes me crazy, I have to plan plan plan everything!

Time to vent!
 
My fiancee and I started to return in our normal routines, we figured that if NOA2 estimate date keeps getting further, we as might as well put it in the back of our minds for now. We both trying to make ourselves busy with job and life. By June for sure, we will be anxious and restless again. But until then, life must go on.
 
(Although, I keep tabs everyday with VJ forums. Just in case.) lol
