I believe with chest XRays you can't get one more often than once a year...since the X-Rays are not so good for you, since it's radiation or whatever.
But I'm sure if anything was wrong with your lungs, you would've noticed by now

Ohhhhh so good to know I'm not the only insaniac... I'm terrified lol
Let's update us hypochondricwise after the medical, ok?

Oh nice, you're so lucky! Enjoy your time!
It's been 5 months now, since we said goodbye at the airport. It's time to go home for me.
Though I'm glad I can skip the Virginian summer for a last time haha

I'm only worried about the xray.
Was at my doc the other day for a blood check (after I didn't see a doc in years they found out my thyroid isn't working right), I was about to bug him to make a thorax xray just to take this worry off me lol
But I didn't. They think I'm insane anyways, no need to strenghten that hahaha

The rest of the medical is supposed to be easy, as I've heard from 2 girls around who went through. Only peepee, poking for blood and some random checks and forms to fill.
And the xray of doom and darkness lol

Lol! Everyone's a hypochondriac! I'm sure we all will be just fine. The medical (from the reviews I've read) is relatively simple. I just hope I have all of my vaccines needed. Not looking forward for anyone having to stick needles in me
This whole process is making me paranoid!

    Don't even think about that!
    It will drive you nuts!

I remember from NOA1... everybody got their NOA1 messages and we got nothing for a few days longer.
I was more than relieved when I received the picture of the letter!

I hope, since we're almost in our month of NOA2, we will slip through before it gets bad! Fingers are crossed for all of us!

    Yaaaaaay!!!
    WE'RE ALMOST IN OUR MONTH!!!!
I can't wait for the first March filer to YAY up here!!! Until now I'm really relaxed and patient (opposite to my "German nature" /quote from my slow American ), but I guess once the first few NOA2's from March are posted here I'll get anxious too!   I'm not expecting anything until he holds the letter into the camera. We had this "not update online" problem already with NOA1, so... as long as it comes it's fine!

And my estimated date moved back one day in the right direction.
It's just a guess, and it's just one day, but it made me smile so much!!!

    Hi Anonymous Whiners!
I was reading on the Feb filers forum and someone said that he spoke to a USCIS customer service agent and told him that  NOA2 will only be mailed and will not be updated on the website even if we have an account

Just to throw in my two cents (and some optimism) ... When I started, average k1 processing time at CSC was around 87 or 88 days I think, according to VJ k1 Visa trends.  I've been watching that number almost daily, and at its peak I think it climbed to 103 a couple weeks ago.  It's actually gone back down to 100 as of now.  That's only 12-13 days longer than when I started, so I'm not too worried, unless that number starts to climb again.  As far as I know, those stats are not based on the "scans" or the USCIS website, they are based on when VJ members update their timeline about when they receive their NOA2.  So I don't think we need to be concerned about the scans or the potential problems with the USCIS website.  It seems logical that the timing of transferring the workload of processing i130's from national benefits center to the service centers may have been responsible for the small increase we saw in average processing time, but hopefully that was the extent of it.  Stay positive! I think most of us will be seeing our NOA2's in mid June through mid July.

    Thank you!
I'm the beneficiary, from Russia. My fiancé is from CA.

How are you guys all holding up? It's been almost 2 months since we've filed the petition, so, hopefully, we've only have a third of the wait to go until the next step, but it feels so hard. Not a day goes by without us thinking of how stressful this is, and how I just want to be re-united with my love lol It's been 3 weeks since we've seen each other, and it's felt like torture being apart, but at the same time I have no right to complain, as I see some of you guys have not seen each other for months, almost a year. You guys are troopers!
This is a wonderful problem we all have - we have somebody we love and appreciate dearly, and I would not give up a thing, but the waiting game is tough.

A lot of people get confused with the receipt number from the NOA and the case number from NVC. Basically, when you file for the I-129f you're asking USCIS to allow your fiancé to apply for a visa. That's the first step of the process, it comes with its own receipt number and approval - the NOAs. But that's all it is - an authorization for the alien fiancé to apply for a visa. They can't apply for a fiancé visa on their own, there has to be this authorization in first. Once that's handled, USCIS sends the paperwork to the NVC, which creates a case through which the alien fiancé can then apply for the visa. That's why it's a separate case number. It's embassy specific (the first letters refer to the embassy where the visa will be handled), if there are K2 children involved they get their case numbers too, and it is then sent to the specific embassy which will process the visa. That's also why you then use a different website to track your case - it's now a different process, handled by a different branch of the government.

    Hello wonderful people!
I'm new on here, but I'm so glad you guys exist! I've read through all of these 108 pages of comments, and it felt like a therapy session! lol Makes me feel so much better I'm not the only one who's going crazy over distance and waiting.
Let's cross our fingers the process goes smoothly and we all get to reunite with our loved ones by the end of this summer <3

Mail has been opened, and we were approved!!!! The date on the NOA2 is May 19, and it arrived today in Dallas.  Our received date was February 14 (what is used for the scans), and our NOA1 was February 16.

I went back and looked at the scans for May 19 and for Feb 14 received date I only see a few files that were touched.  So keep the faith that even if it looks like there was little to no movement on your date, you may have actually been approved. I know that can be frustrating to hear from someone already approved but I am truly hoping for good news for everyone soon and I don't want to see anyone give up.

I really can't wait to log on one day and see one of us March filers with an approval!! It'll feel great to see when they finally start working on March cases! I hate just being at a stand still, beginning to go crazy from the waiting, lol.

Haha, no worries. But believe me, food is even greater in the North and people is stereotypically less warm that the Southern, but really true-hearted and hospitable (well, I couldn't say otherwise ).

I'd rather take all papers that they might request, just in case. Better to be safe than sorry.
There's no letter of intent mentioned in my checklist either, but it's not so difficult to write, and not expensive to ship, so why not?

Haha, that happens. You start to mix everything...

I included a copy of NOA2 on my own checklist and in the documents Gary has to send me, but it's just a kind of backup thing to take with me to the interview if requested. Don't recall seeing that in any Embassy document. It's included though in the VJ list of documents your petitioner has to send you, that might be it.

I spy on about every thread from previous months here. Well, obviously, since here I am though I'm an April filer
For what it seems they are mostly working on February right now, so I think you'll start to get news for March in around 2-3 weeks. Certainly hoping so

15 days!!!! Darn, that's much! haha
We have one paid day for wedding, one for birth of own child and one a year for moving.

Yeah, my future mom in law said next time I'm around we should make a road trip to Vegas. They even have a shared vacationhome there, so that'd be perfect. So she kind of oracled our wedding, when we haven't even officially been engaged.

But we'll see as well. Nothing in stone either.

Oh, and btw... I rather call Scott Scott as well. I agree with the weirdism of fiancé all the time hehe!
