we just set our interview date, they have openings in montreal starting the last week of june but for certain reasons we are waiting till august, interview date is august 16th!!

my noa 2 date was may 5th, this friday would be 5 weeks,  and i honestly have no idea how i got the email,  i got 2, one said my fiances request to expedite it was accepted, but he said he never sent a request and then anither email saying they received it,  it had our case number and invoice number.  i had no idea that they send emails

yeah we were 30 days yesterday,  exactly 1 month as our noa2 date was may 5tg, this friday would be our 5th friday,  i was in shock to receive an email,  i wasnt going to call till Wednesday and then i got the email,  i hope you get it soon!!

question in the email from the nvc it says to fill out the ds 160 form the non-immigrant form, is that the right one? i thought it would be an immigrant one, or is that after he is here in the country?
 
also so when i check the status it says in transit and then it says 
Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.

noa2 is may 5th and im still waiting :/ hopefully we start hearing back soon for our case number 

im in the same boat as canadagirlreece, ive been calling every day since last friday, im at 21 days today approval on 05/05 and no case number 

05/25 is our 20th day after approval. Hopefully we get good news by then 😊

Nope, they care about your income based on salary and taxes, they don't care about where you live at. My fiance lives in an income restricted apartment too because he used to qualify with his older job and not moving to save money until I'm there and we can find a place that suits us both
 

It should not be an issue ...and even if it was, what could you do about it? You could always just explain the situation. What matter is that you have the proper income, that you moved and your situation changed happens and even more in our circumstances! If I was you I would try not to worry too much about things you cannot control.
