Thanks for the advise. I will indeed heed this advise and await counselor/NVC processing. The last thing we need is to have waited 2+ years to then run afoul at the finish line. That would be devastating.

still waiting for visa interview after almost 4 months. Does any one know what is happening at Mumbai embassy? What is the last known visa interview scheduled fro F2A at Mumbai?

Whether it is Citizen's Spouses or current F2A Spouses (Current in VB) with Documentarily Qualified status, all of them are waiting to get their visa numbers on the basis of slot provided by Mumbai consulate. I hope NVC is treating equally to both spouses and not giving any kind of privilege to IR1/CR1 over F2A where F2A is current with Doc. Qualified status. Following is the snapshot they are maintaining in spreadsheet:
 

 
Looks like the last slot was allotted on 9th May 19 for the month of June 19. Many people are not updating their timelines and Mumbai Consulate is not sharing the monthly visa allotment list of cases what it used to do long time ago. But, just an estimate by looking at others experiences, one should wait at least 60-90 days after cc till interview date under IR1/CR1 and I think plus 30 days more in case of LPR spouses. It's just my assumption by looking at the trend right now, nobody knows at this moment what is going on in reality.  
 
FYI ... My case was completed on 10th May 19. And my case got current in last bulletin and yes obviously it is one and only MUMBAI Consulate. Why did they shut down New Delhi Embassy ... 😥  god knows why ... no comments!!  

What happen to Mumbai embassy any1 heard anything? For F2A

Thanks , I got interview Approved last May 28, the next day my CEAC status change from ready to AP, and still ap for 3 days..I'm hoping this week for the ISSUED status.

This is going to be a long comment so hang in there with me . Based on my experience thus far , firstly the NVC call center does not have any idea when your interview will be scheduled. They are government contractors and have as much as information as you have when you login NVC website. Secondly, this may sound ironic but do not trust half the comments people post here about their prediction and opinions.  Everyone's case is different and there is no such thing as a "set time" like end of the month, start of the month schedules etc. All I would say is be patient and get your case documentarily qualified as soon as possible to get in the queue. Once you are in the queue it's just a waiting game. I know it's not easy as it sounds but you will get there. One last thing, please post your comments on this forums for other members ease of mind and our silent spectators who visit the forums and dont comment.

Thanks PD3, well that's a relief!! I was assuming the same, now we are in same boat ... hopefully Bombay Consulate will start proceeding the cases ... my pd is 18 May 17. 
But, you must receive an interview first, you are 2 months ahead of me ... all the best and keep us posted here. Thanks again for clarification.

You've already stated that you have CC in your NVC post, are you having doubts? Your documentarily qualified email is your CC email. Your interview letter will come when a date is available to you  Us F2A cases need so much patience, just know that your IL will come soon! Try not to occupy your mind with it for now (I checked my email constantly every single day until I got my IL, and it was so frustrating!), you're near the end
