Fingers crossed for a quick turn around.  Saw an NOA2 today that their RFE was received on the 9th so 11 days later they got approved.  Hope yours is faster!

I'm glad you have something but I'm disappointed their answer wasn't an approval.  But we've recently seen RFE's turn into approvals a week after they was answered.
What's your RFE for?  Can you easily respond to it?

Made it to the Social Security Administration Office yesterday and applied for SSN. No issues there and we were in and out in 20 minutes!

You've described everything very well but there's something I'd like to point out:
    - don't send the original of NOA2. It is the beneficiary's most important document until they get a greeen card, it would be very unfortunate if it gets lost in the mail
    - a police certificate is mandatory, not just in case, and it really is best to start asap

Finally after weeks and weeks and on last day of my fiance visiting me here in Trinidad, I got my interview date(October 26th). Still nervous as hellbut it's so good to know a date.

I have seen that sometimes embassies don't have the I-134 in their list of required documents. Would recommend you take it to the interview anyway though just in case.

At my interview (Montreal, Canada), they did not ask for any evidence of continuing relationship other than the consular said can I see what he looks like (my fiance) and I mentioned his mom in the conversation and she said can I see a picture of her - and I had taken an album of pictures of us and us with our families so I had all that. I also had boarding passes and receipts etc but didn't need it.

    Hi to All,

Just a short update, we were approved on 21st August, received visa on 25th August and day later flown to Chicago. It want really quick on POE.
We registered  my son to school. I applied for SSN last week and received one today in mail, my son did not receive one until he becomes a red card from immigration after we apply for AOS .
We got married yesterday in courthouse.
Next is getting drivers licence, hope this Saturday.
Did anyone filled for AOS from march or Feb fillers?
    Regards

Check out http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide for some instructions of what's to come.  Those instructions don't mention the DS-160 for some reason.

Here's what my fiance and I have been able to find out.  Disclaimer: I haven't been through these steps myself.  Just trying to help you out.
Those in the know, please correct me if I'm wrong or missing anything.   We haven't completed any of these steps yet, so it would help us so much if I'm mistaken about anything!

    - The US citizen needs to fill out i-134 and provide proof that they can support their fiance financially (must be 125% the poverty level or so -- check https://www.zanebenefits.com/blog/2017-federal-poverty-level-guidelines for 2+ people):
letter from the employer attesting to salary (signed by your employer!) tax transcripts or w2, showing your wages paycheck stubs for the last few months confirming the salary bank statements confirming deposits if you don't have enough income showing with just the salary, you can do savings account, etc but you'll have to check the guidelines to make sure the funds are sufficient - US citizen will also need to send another intent to marry letter to the fiance with a more recent date (might be good to have your fiance do a new one too).
    - US citizen should make a copy of the I-129f approval letter (the i-797) and send the original to fiance (someone please confirm this)
    - Fiance can start filling out the ds-160 online (they'll need a passport photo taken within the last 6 months, and depending how long your I-129F took, it may have to be a more recent one), but don't submit/sign it until you're asked for it -- you can save your progress in the meantime, though.
    - Fiance can apply for a police certificate just in case the embassy asks for it -- this may take a long time to get, so best to start ASAP
    - Fiance should find out where they'll need to schedule the doctor appointment just to be prepared.  Make sure to get a copy of the DS-3025!  You'll need it for your Adjustment of Status process, later, else they'll make you get checked up/vaccinated again
    - You should prepare some more chat/phone logs and some more recent photos, as proof of your relationship since filing the I-129f.  These will need to be brought to the interview.
    - If you guys haven't already done so, the I-129F petition copy and all the documents/photos you had there should also be sent to the fiance for the interview.

All of the documents US citizen sends to the fiance (i-134, intent to marry, employer letter) must have original signatures -- they'll check for that.

Don't forget about the CEAC tracker, once the NVC receives your case and the case number is assigned. https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Today we managed to get packet 3 out the door. It's starting to feel like progress is happening, finally.

When we have an appointment the real celebration can start.

1.) US Embassy in Manila has not asked for I-134 in years. My prior K-1 there was not asked for it either.
2.) It says DS-260 which is in error as K-1 needs DS-160
3.) It says police clearance for anywhere lived for more than 12 months outside of Philippines but other places it says 6 months. - might not apply to your fiancee.
4.) I would still bring continuing evidence of relationship. This could be photos and new passport stamps from any visits that occurred after submitting the I-129f, copies of remittances and chat logs, phone bills (yeah most use apps for that), receipts for engagement rings, info on wedding plans etc.

Congrats on your progress you guys are almost there.

Had my interview today... so confused: Administrative Processing

They guy did not say why, if there is anything missing, just that sometimes they do some deeper analysis and can take up to 10 day.

I want to cry so badly!

Well, now that I got to see the actual tickets over Skype, I can finally say - yes, we are flying to the States on October 27
And we picked the wedding date - November 25 (a mix of our birthdays)

NVC is going super fast. We're pretty sure our case arrived on 9/1, and case went to the embassy on 9/6 -- and it was a three day weekend between those two dates.

In other news, our lawyer finally filed the DS-160 today. A "mere" 12 days after case READY status.

Now they want to wait on sending the packet 3 letter until the police certs are actually in hand.
And they were just starting on those today until we stopped them because we already applied for them a month ago, because we knew they weren't on top of things. If we hadn't, we'd be waiting more than a month to send in packet 3!

one more time, kids: do. not. use. a. lawyer.

Total lawyer-induced delays to date: about 5 weeks, and it'd be at least 9 had we not filed for the certs. It may still be longer if they insist on waiting for them.

Tell her to get her CFO booked soon, the dates are filling up fast.  CFO is really nosey, they want a copy of so many things, like divorce decrees and etc.  Don't be too surprised when you get a list of stuff to scan and send over.
She can go ahead and get her CENOMAR and NBI now.
If she has any free time, she can organize her evidences.
As soon as you get the MNL number, she can screenshot the ceac site to show to slec and CFO, but when you get the actual letter from NVC, copy / scan it and send to her because some people say that SLEC needs the letter to release the medical to embassy.
If she hasn't done the DS-160 yet, that can be done now, also.  The payment slip is easily printed and paid at the bank.

If you need help, just holler.

It's just a matter of them entering it into their system manually that generates a MNL number for you.

They tell you to call back tomorrow but truthfully, it all depends on how many cases get sent to them that determines how long it takes them to enter them into their system.  I would call tonight at the end of the calling hours to check.

By the way, what phone number and option did you use when you called?
