With the visa saying CR-1, wouldn't hurt to nudge the POE officer a gentle reminder of the 2-plus years since wedding.

I would suggest to wait another two months to apply for his green card. It will save you money and headache since renewing of conditional green card takes more than a year now a days.

Absolutely!!!  If he arrives on or after the 2 year marriage anniversary, he will receive an IR-1 10 year Green Card which means there would be no need to Remove Conditions.........I suggest he wait ...He will get an IR-1....

If he can wait the 2 months to travel, then yes,  defiinetly worth it
but when was his medical, exam?   he has to travel within 6 months of the exam
    and Congratulations

If you have been married for 2 years or more when you enter the US you should get IR-1, it's all about when you enter the USA and has nothing to do with when you had your interview.

You should stop listening to that source regarding immigration.  Even if you have"CR-1" visa in your passport, you will receive an IR-1 if you enter the country after 2 year wedding anniversary....See one of my posts above.

Yes, if you wait, as others have said, he will received a 10-year green card instead of the 2-year one. Just please check the expiration date of the spouse visa he got. He needs to travel before that date.

So that means the two year period counts from the day he enters US irrelevant of when the visa was issued.
