I got one like this too that was dated May 17th.  I received it after my May 24th interview.  And a few days later, got another email saying my card was being processed.  So this is perhaps a good thing that you all got this email?  it means they are doing something, but who knows what that 'something' is.  Hopefully all good.

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time

We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on May 22, 2018.

  2. Update: last week I got an email update saying there were no updates to my file since May 17th.  This email update was received AFTER my interview on May 24th.  Then this update disappeared from my file, but received an email today saying my EAD and or combo card is being produced.  Now I know from other people here, that this really should say my Green card is being produced since I already had my interview.

There is one thing that is clear- the system is just all over the place and trying to figure it out is futile :-)  The only email that you can count on is the one that says your card is being produced!

My approval was 130 days after they received my AOS package.  I know I am very lucky to get my Green Card so early.  This is out of the Philly Office which has a current estimate of 9.5-19 months.  So the information isn't always right, for any of those that are trying to figure our when they will get their cards.

Good luck to everyone!  I hope you all get your cards very soon.

  3. I am a bit frustrated.  I had my GC interview May 24th, which is great, but I have never had any updates online until today.  My email states:

"We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time.  We will notify you when your case status changes.  We last took action on your case on May 17, 2018."

So they send me an update that there are no updates, even though I have progressed to the interview after the date?  What's the point of getting this update.

I guess I should be happy I finally got some correspondence?

I just wish that they would get their system corrected and working the way it should.  What's the point of having a manner of checking your case file if it never works properly for the majority of us.

    Anyone else had this?

Did you get an email update from USCIS stating they'd sent you an interview letter? I'm at 'ready to be scheduled' on my tracker, so want to know what to expect next! :)

I didn't get nay updates online or emails even thought I had signed up for that communication.  The letter was a complete surprise.

We have the same update on case last 3/26. How ever it’s still case was received and I didn’t receive any letter yet. Just to make sure what site did you saw the last update 3/26?

    I used Uscis.gov

  5. Just FYI, I did get my interview letter today, however My online tracker still says "case received Jan 23rd" and it has never changed.  The only thing I see different is beside my case number there is an "update" date of March 26th.  That is the only thing that I could go by.  It's so frustrating that you can't see what is going on from the online tool.  But I have heard others who have had updates on the online tool.

  6. I received my Interview letter today!!

Just a quick synopsis of my Timeline

My case was received Jan 23rd, 2018

    Biometrics Appt. Feb 22nd (Philadelphia)

Case last updated online-  March 26th (although when I clicked on my case it only states that my case was received Jan 23rd. No other information or updates)

April 18th- Interview letter sent by USCIS

April 23th- Interview letter received by me

    Interview date- May 24th (Philadelphia)

    Hope this helps.

Also, if anyone has gone through, or is about to go through the interview, please post your interview experience for us so we can all be better prepared.

    GOOD LUCK!

  7. I missed some of this thread.  Would someone kindly explain briefly with process?

Apply for EI within 4 weeks of leaving your job?  Even if you have moved to the U.S.?

What happens if it has been more than 4 weeks?  I am just hearing about this now.  I never knew you could apply for EI.  And I read about not receiving benefits until your EAD is in hand.  How long do you receive benefits for?  From the time you get your EAD to the time you work?  or the time you apply until the time you get a job?  Has anyone had luck getting approved for EI applying after the 4 weeks?  I am really disappointed that I didn't know about this.  For me it's been well over 4 weeks and I am waiting for my EAD still.  Thanks for the info.

  8. Just an update because someone asked: my husband is on disability and will lose his coverage from his employer in a month.  He with either continue with his employer but pay full premiums but we do not know yet if I can get added after we get married.  Unlikely.  Or he will have to be covered through Cobra.  So I figure I will likely need to have my own insurance until I get a plan through an employer.  Thanks to all that have responded so far.

  9. I am a bit confused as to what health insurance I need to get before I move to the U.S. or after I move.  Does anyone know what to do?  I will be leaving Canada October 30th and am just barely learning about open enrollment.   Would anyone kindly explain insurance options?  Or who you've used? Obamacare vs Outbound insurance, etc>

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
