  1. We had our interview today 6/20

    Here's what happened:

Interview was scheduled for 7:15 am. We got there at 6:30, and the line for security was out of the door. They do not start screening until 7 and the line moves very fast.

Once we got to the 7th floor, around 7:10, there were only a couple of people waiting. One of the officers announced that they were having an issue with their computers, so they didn't call anyone until 9:30. We waiting for another hour until they called us.

The lady that interviewed us was polite and very straight forward.

    Questions asked:

    - When did I meet my wife?

    - Do we live together?

    -  Did we have kids?

    - Did we have a wedding ceremony?

    - Asked something about a trip we took ...the question came up while she was looking through the photos.

    - Where do we live?

The only tricky task she asked us to do was to highlight expenses on a credit card statement. She gave us two different color high lighters and ask to highlight each charge to indicate who made it. That was kind of weird, but it was pretty simple.

Funny thing is that we didn't have a wedding ceremony. We are planning that this summer back in Kosovo since all of our relatives live there. We explained it to her and she was very understanding about it.  So we gave her all of the documentation (evidence) for that. She keep those documents.

Out of all the documents which we put together, she only took the photos, renewed medical, bank statement and the wedding ceremony evidence.

An hour after the interview, The USICS Case updated to "New Card in Production"

If you have the interview soon, don't be too nervous about it. The whole thing lasted less then 20 mins. It would have been even faster if their system was working right.

I would advise to get there early, have all of your documents in order and just be composed when they ask questions. The interview should be a piece of cake if you are actually living with your spouse.

Thank you! :) Status changed March 26th. She is filing from Brooklyn. On that date, the USCIS website went from "Waiting to schedule an interview" to "Interview scheduled".

    Hoping they process yours soon!

Wow that’s nice. When did the status change from “Case received” to waiting for an interview?

My wifes update changed last year from “Case Received” to “Waiting to schedule” back in March of 18’

If you simply look in the App Store, USCIS Tracker, there are several apps. My NOA2 is not showing in the Scan or USCIS website!

I do not know if true, but I read that if you can reach Tier 2, your approval comes ins week. I know only circumstantial evidence, but worked for us.

I detailed my experience with Tier 2 on this discussion group. I really hope this helps. I am a timid person. Hopefully my detailed story helps.

Last Thursday 5/26 I called USCIS and spoke with a Teir 2. He told me that my case was on someone's desk. And I see that RFEs and approvals are issued just 1 case number after me and 3 before me. It's just so frustrating. I am going to call again on Monday.
