I had a interview on March 13th. They didn't ask for my medical examination. My status got updated to "New card is being produced" 2hours after the interview.

I have an interview on March 13th. I have a question about the medical examination. Before I moved to US I did medical examination for K1 Visa. I submitted the copy of DS 3025 and vaccination record with I-485. Do I need to do medical examination again and fill up the I-693 form for the interview? I have searched about it, but I couldn't get the right information for me. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Just to share my experience with Ombudsmen and Senator.

March 10th - I emailed Ombudsmen and Senator (I wrote about my name typo error causing delay and being beyond processing time. I scanned and sent all letters and documents that I received from USCIS)

March 15th - I received RFE letter. (USCIS sent in March 12th)

March 16th - I sent my response to RFE to USCIS.

March 22nd - USCIS received my response to RFE.

March 30th - I received a response from Senator by email.
"Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent's immigration matter. The I-765 and I-131 are currently under review by an adjudications officer. Your constituent should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.
The I-485 is within our current processing time. Processing time information can be found on our website on the USCIS Processing Time Information page."

April 3rd - EAD and AP got approved. (My USCIS account got updated in April 5th)

April 5th - I received a response from Ombudsmen by email.
"We have contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). In response, USCIS indicated that they issued a Request for Evidence (RFE) regarding the application/petition referenced in your request. On 03/12/2018, USCIS mailed the RFE to you.
Please refer to the notice for instructions and respond accordingly within the stated time frame. Please allow USCIS 90 days from the date they receive your response to issue a decision. etc...."

I think it is better to try everything you can to speed up the process. It won't hurt. I hope this helps you.

Thank you for the information. 👍
I have to stay in US cuz I am still waiting to get scheduled for the interview for GC. They received my response to RFE on March 22nd and they said they will make a final decision within 90days. Hopefully it will be sooner than 90days. Thanks again.

I think it might be better to call.
I submitted SR online in January 25th. They assigned for respond in March 19th. I received their respond by mail in March 26th. It took 2 month.
  12. Thanks

If you called USCIS to send the SR, you should call them again after April 8th.
When I called USCIS to send SR for my name typo error in January 25th, they told me to call back again after one month if I still don't receive any respond from USCIS.
I called again after one month, and I explained that I haven't received any respond even though I sent two SR(I also sent SR in October, but no respond). They transferred my call to Tier 2, and I think Tier2 officer could see more details about all my application status. Tier2 officer sent SR to immigration office directly, and she said "USCIS seem working on my case now and I will receive their respond within 2 weeks". After 1 week my name got updated.

I think talking to Tier2 office helped.

Hey everyone! I was a silent reader until now and your timelines/experiences helped me a lot so I want to share my timeline. Hopefully it helps those waiting for their EADs. Here we go:

    I-130, I-485, I-765
    Received date: October 13, 2017
    Fingerprint appointment: November 9, 2017

    I-765 inquiries:
January 9, 2018: SR by phone- unanswered
January 22, 2018: SR online- unanswered
January 23, 2018: Contacted congressman- financial hardship
January 25, 2018: SR by phone
January 29, 2018: Congressman contacted the USCIS
February 8, 2018: USCIS responded to congressman- expedite request approved however no timeline could be given because even the expedite queue is backed up.
February 26, 2018: SR from January 25 was assigned to an officer and completed the same day with  the response “Your case is currently under review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.”
February 27, 2018: infopass appointment (I had scheduled this 2 weeks before, figured I’d go despite recent response to SR)-I  was told that the expedite request was approved 5 day ago (?!) and to give them 2 more weeks and I would hear from them.
    … no action...
… timeline changed to cases of November 1, 2017…
    March 8, 2018: contacted Ombudsman’s office
March 14, 2018: Ombudsman’s office contacted the USCIS (never heard from them after that day)
    March 14, 2018: SR online - unanswered
    .
    .
    .
March 26, 2018: We are producing your card and will mail it to you (Day 164)
March 27, 2018: We approved your case
March 28, 2018: We mailed your card to you
March 30, 2018: Called USCIS and no tracking number was available as per L2 officer… I called because this mail was never posted on USPS informed delivery.
March 31, 2018: EAD card in hand

Also... March 6, 2018: Received courtesy letter that I-693 was not submitted with the rest of my application and I should bring it to the interview, if one to be scheduled.
    Old website/app never updated.

No word on interview yet...  Long island office processing time is 10.5-29.5 months at this time...

Best of luck to those still waiting for their EAD!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I just can't believe it took almost 5 months to send me the letter of RFE. I sent the initial evidence that they requested(2016 Tax return and explanation of why I can not submit 2017 tax return) on March 16. We can't file tax return for 2017 until I receive my SSN, so we are filing for extension.

And I found this webpage that explains well.
