    Yay! I'm excited for you!

Glad to know your i-751 journey is finally over and you can rest well now.

CSC is still slow as hell but at least June filers don't have to wait for too long.

Thanks MaleAlpha...being excited for a 'complete stranger' really shows your true colors.

Like I said before, I have been following your posts and they gave us some really good perspective of the whole process, and helped cope with the tension. thanks again buddy.

  2. Hi guys. Finally this morning we got 3 text messages and 1 email from USCIS, and the new card is being produced! :jest:

I wanted to 'personally' thank each and every one of you who gave us hope and help in this hard journey, and had to stand for my ever so often bad mood here. I sincerely hope you hear some very good news soon. It appears CSC is moving back on track after all. There is still hope folks.

    Grazie a tutti per l'aiuto, I mean it :)

    NOA 6/16/16

    Bio 7/12/16

    approval Aug/3/17

Good luck and God bless us all.

Realistically, when do you think someone with NOA of August 29th  would get approved for I751?

    I am a little frustrated today :(

    I know your feeling.

Its hard to say anything...and I dont want to sound like the prophet of doom either..but think about this: it took UScis (and Im talking about CSC - VSC is getting better) 5 to 6 months to process cases from May to June/16. I'm a mid June/16  filer and havent heard anything as of today. If this pattern continues, God only knows when a late August filer will see some movement.

Plus, the new President just announced an upcoming proposed legislation that, if passed, would severely affect legal immigration (and, therefore, all USCIS proceedings), so again, only the Almighty knows how things will unfold from now on.

Good luck to us all still waiting.

This can't be right... according to USCIS numbering system, (using your example WAC1618650xxx) WAC stands for CSC, 16 stands for the fiscal year the application was received in, and 186 stands for the day on which it was received (186th day of that fiscal year, counting from Oct.1).. is the app saying there are 300+ CR-89 cases received on that day alone that are still pending?!

    I hope I'm just misunderstanding this....that's just depressing :-)

OMG...if that is the case, they will take till Aug 24th just to process one specific day...I too hope you're wrong. :(

For CRI-89 cases with receipt number like WAC161865XXXX, as of today, there are 314 pending, the processing rate is about 20 cases per day. If you know how to check the number through this app on iPhone: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/case-tracker-searcher-for-uscis-immigration/id921827126?mt=8, please share it.

If these numbers are right, in roughly 16 days all of them will be processed (314/20 = 15.7). Assuming they only process cases during working days, 16 working days would be Aug 24th. Let's see.

I happened to check my Facebook page, i posted a video on Visa Journey this January talking about CSC being so jammed up.  Back in January, CSC was at last mid Ma, wow, and now they are at June 15th last year 7 months later. So it took 7 months just to move 1 month? So it will take a whole year to move 2 months worth of applications if this slow rate continues, then they won't approve any of the July filers until next Feb, and they will start touching August filers next August, lol. Wow, one more year, and VSC will be way ahead of us by next summer. That is why i was liked "  Fxxk IT", and decide to file 400 when I am eligible which is tomorrow actually, but my lawyer told me to wait for a few days to avoid USCIS' own incompetence and confusions because sometimes they can be confused themselves and falsely think you file too early even though you use their USCIS early filing calculator, so we will file a week from today, they want to combine the both and adjudicate it both, fine by me because my ultimate goal is the citizenship, but this is crazy.

    That's disconcerting...

And I was looking at the June/16 chart...only 3 applicants were approved in the last 16 days, and one of them was a RFE. It seems the approval rate is getting even slower, as unbelievable as it may sound..This delay is just beyond anything...I really cant find words to describe it. I wonder how far will this go.

Maybe after VSC finishes July's pile, CSC will start picking up..

    Hopefully, yes.

I remember, back in Feb/March, people were thinking that CSC was 'waiting' for VSC to catch up, after which things would return to "normal"..

Now, VSC has not only caught up but surpassed CSC (seems like they are processing August/16), and here we are again wishiful thinking that after VSC July filers are done things will go back to track.

It should be CSC's term. Don't they have to balance the with loads?

Is funny you mentioned that.. I was looking at uscis webpage regarding workload transfers, and over 60% of the transfers were from other centers to CSC. And that is this year alone, not considering other transfers that took place last year (most of which, of course, coming to CSC, instead of leaving). Last June there was a major transfer to CSC (H1B extensions), despite the insane delays that were already taking place.

I wonder what is the criteria they actually use to transfer the cases... it surely doesnt seem to be to balance anything.

Ahahahaha - I think I can see the jokey nature of this post - because those of us know know WJ, know there is a huge amount of caring going on right now.

It's a fine line - I sometimes want to make jokes about it - because sometimes humor keeps us all going.

But when it affects people's lives, and their families, its hard to know what is funny to some of us, is rather unsettling to others.

Personally I'm just bored of it right now - almost to the point where I don't really come here very much very often - unless I have some pearl of wisdom to cast before you all - which right now is unlikely, because I'm just feeling very flat - so bored with it.

I feel like sending a job lot of Adderall to Laguna Niguel to give them a reboot and make them work overtime 🤣🤣 (my cousin has to take it - says it makes you work twice as fast and hard! ahahaha)

I got the joke too..its not like I got offended or anything...and I am NOT the grumpy old ####### thaat keeps complaining all the time (really - LOL!!!)......and its not just the fact that it does affect our lives, but the fact that we feel wronged by all this and, at the same time, utterly powerless to do anything about it - that's the most daunting part. We did everything right, by the book, abiding by law...and now this...why? I never overstayed my visa while we were dating (that's over 3 years fyi- well technically is not a visa, on account of the waiver, but never stayed longer than I should) or did anything wrong, not even a parking ticket or jaywalking..we spent a fortune traveling..but we decided to wait until we felt the time was right to get hitched, and it is kind of really really hard not feel like "this is how we get rewarded for being on the right side of the law" you know...at least thats how we feel about this whole thing. I believe our fellow member Jimmy the Knife made his point about feeling somewhat like that too the other day.

I really wish someone from USCIS could read tthe postings here (not sure they dont, actually), maybe that would give them at least a glimpse of how it is, how ppl feel about doing all that is right and be put on hold for over a year without a single info whatsoever, other than the "hiring freeze" and "backlog" stuff (which, honestly, I do not buy)..it is pretty much lik your whole life is put on time out.

The other day our friend MaleAlpha, when he finally got his card, said that after the whole torture of waiting and being put down he felt like "whatever", in comparison to his 1st GC when he got happy and excited about it..that pretty much sums up how we are all feeling about this whole thing..in the end, when we should feel happy and relieved, we don't, some because of the whole pain the thing caused, others because they have yet another year ahead of them for the N400..see what I mean? that is not what the whole thing is all about. well for me at least it aint.

Anyways folks.......sorry for the long rant here....after all it is end of the week, Saturday is coming, and next week is months end, which means we are getting closer and closer to the next processing times update...

Hope you all hve a great weekend...and those who finally got their cards recently, go enjoy it with your spouses on a fancy dinner or something :), you deserve it

    (1) an increase in green card renewal/application activity after the current president was elected (perhaps from people fearing, rightly or not, that things could get more difficult in the future) compounded by (2) the federal government hiring freeze that came into place around the same time, making it difficult for them to increase their staff to handle the bigger workload.

Same old "hiring freeze" and "backlog" bull...that was enough to justify the delay 6 months ago. Now, with people waiting over 13-14 months and more, I believe they should just make a more appropriate excuse, at least it wouldnt be as disrespectful.

This's interesting!! I agree with you about not buying the excuse that all applicants surged to file before Trump getting in the oval office. But none of this makes any sense whatsoever.. It's just absurd!! I've been following the processing times and as everyone knows it's almost like things were great up to May 2017, then all of the sudden things started to go slow like really slow.. Every 2 weeks they used to update their processing times and almost finish a month or 6 weeks ahead. Now, every update doesn't even include any advancement in I-751 times.. What a joke..

I hear you.. One almost feels tempted to think something else is going on..

Other than "backlogs" and "hiring freezes" I mean..

I'm just confused as why the officer said I was pending adjudication and also in line for interview without RFE.. strange

Does my case need to be transferred to my local office before scheduling an interview? as of last thursday it was being under review by an officer in VSC.

Ive seen this before: you applied for the N400, didnt you? Hence the interview: your are in queue for the N 400 interview, without any RFE pertaining to the I751. Your I 751 and the N400 files were put together and, therefore, youll have one interview for both, at your local office. That's what I think.

Good luck, and glad to see things for Vermont July Filers are moving as they should!

I went here and fill out the form and it went through

    https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayONPTForm.do?sroPageType=onpt

I am not sure, Maybe 06/25/2016 is NOA2 or idk. June 25 is the letter for my biometrics appointment scheduled for 07/12/2016. I am not sure if there's NOA1 or something. Will look it up later.

Yep. June 25 is the second notice they sent you, for biometrics. Your 1st NOA is before that. I have the same situation: I797 June 16, and bio letter June 25. You probably (more than likely) have a NOA of June 15 or before, that's why your inquiry went through.

    Congrats BTW :)

my application was received June 30th 2016, still waiting till this moment. This is getting frustrating, anyone in the same shoe?

If you're VSC you have nothing to worry, you will be approved very soon.

If not - meaning if you are CSC - then prepare yourself for a loooong wait; I'd say at least 6 more more months for June 30, and that's being optimistic.

That if the 2 days per month pattern continues, of course, which unfortunately seems to be the case.

Very very hard to believe this is actually happening.

    New Card Is Being Produced

On July 6, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC1618150397, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

FINALLY I just received a case status update email that my card is being produced as of July 6th and will be mailed to the address I have on file.

Took 1 year and 27 days. Hate to say this but I wasn't really excited like I was when I received the conditional green card. My mood this time around was  '..whatever'. I guess the long delay squeezed out all the joy in me lol. Glad to know though I don't have to keep checking the status of this process any longer.

Best of luck to everyone still waiting on their cards. I will update once I receive my card.

And just so you know, I didn't receive any text messages. Just an email with the status update.

(Moderator's I intentionally did not mask my case information as it's pointless to mask it anyway. It's already information publicly available on the USCIS site and nobody can do anything with it unless they have a combination of my other information such as address, full name, DOB etc. I just figured it will help folks to get an idea on the progress of their cases relative to mine).

Congratulations man! I've been following your progress and I know how you feel. Your postings pretty much mirror how me and my wife think. Enjoy the unconditional residency and finally get some rest from all this. 👍🏻
