Somebody posted an article recently in one of these forums (I forget if it was this month or another one), but the article was about cases being transferred from VSC to CSC in 2014 or 2015, not the recent ones going through the process now. Is there evidence of it happening now?
Looks like it, yes, I just saw on the July/16 thread that an applicant got transferred from VSC to CSC. So, not only CSC is already way behind (versus VSC picking it up as of late), but it is also being (more) overloaded with petitions precisely from Vermont (assuming this is not just an isolated incident, but an actually workload transfer). It really is very difficult to understand what the parameters are..or to estimate any CSC predictions now, for that matter

My file has been transferred as of 2/22 to California from Vermont.
Honestly, I'm not sure if that's good or bad news for you. Vermont picked up last month and is processing a lot of march applications already, whereas CSC is immovable for 04 months now (pinned on may 14 since november/16), with only 2 (that's right, "two") known June filers approved so far.

Now my friends have me worried. They said they are sure it is fake...
i mean, have you ever heard of instances where immigration calls spouses??? Really worried now
is there such a scam like this?
Simple: just call them. Call the 800 number, ask to speak with a tier 2 officer (or have him call you), and explain what happened. Pretty sure he will be able to tell if its a 'scam' or not.
I find it very odd someone call your husband, pretending to be an officer, just to say you've been approved. I mean, what's the point?
The "cancel the interview" part is a bit strange, I gotta say...but who knows...it might be true.
Call them. Not a safer way of knowing it for sure.

VSC is still on Dec filers! =/
VSC is approving a lot lately, check the lists. They are actually processing Feb/March/16, whereas we are stuck on May for over 3 months. Seriously?

From the look of things, we may go the entire March without any June approvals..At this point, I am not really hopeful so I guess it's whatever..
Hopefully CSC sits up and starts approving at least by April.
For a process we pay for, the least we can get in return is good service and communication.
USCIS is one giant black hole. You have no clue what's happening until the end.
Anyway, I'm Just ranting, nothing serious..
I second that. Unbelievable,

Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has already been approved for removal of conditions California service center? Mine NOa June 20, 2016. Thanks
I believe just one has been approved (form VJ list - and it was in Dec/16).. not sure though,
CSC has been unbelievably slow since November. We have been stuck ever since, very few approvals, they are still processing april and May, really hard to understand.
At first I thought it had something to do with some possible new guidelines from the new government, but then VSC is approving a lot lately (and I mean a LOT, just check the lists), so it couldn't be that. CSC is really slow for some unknown reason.
VSC processing time shows Dec/2015, but in reality they are processing Feb and March already. Soon enough if things dont change they will catch up to CSC. Sad (for us Cal filers),

lot of early May NOA just went through in the past few days. Hopefully it moves smoothly through May and to June filers.
You are right. It appears csc is back on track, thankfully. We take back what we said before. Congrats by the way!!

Something is DEFINITELY wrong wiht CSC.
Still stranded in may, absolutely no updates (3 months), and very, very few approvals since January. Aint that just perfect??

VSC is still in la la land so be thankful CSC is in May.
Hence the quote "although far behind".
Besides, why should we be thankful for being stuck for 3 months? VSC is currently approving way (WAY) faster than CSC (just check the approvals on January). If the delay keeps on - and considering the gap - we should be together pretty soon.

So much for the processing times update. Still stuck at may 14 after almost 3 months,

New Card Is Being Produced
On February 9, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
Congrats
Looks like VSC is approving a lot more than CSC lately, although far behind. Good news to you guys at VSC!!

Yeah it's quite surprising how for about 3 months (since November), USCIS hasn't progressed from processing May applications. I'm not even hopeful we will hear anything this month. Most likely April or May. The process has suddenly come to a halt. There are a lot of things happening regarding immigration and the federal government so I won't be surprised if the sudden slowness has anything to do with the new Administration.
Our thoughts as well. But then, as Fenir said earlier, it seems they are getting back to business and said there will be an update today regarding processing times (CSC)...lets wait and see, hope its true..

It seems they were on hold for a few months yes... I called yesterday and was told new processing times should be uploaded today. Things started to move again for May fillers last week so hopefully it's coming to June soon.
Morning, and thanks for the input. That's actually good news! Let's just hope they make good on it...its getting kinda hard to believe whatever theyre saying these days..fingers crossed

Hi there boys and girls. We submitted on june and, as almost 100% of June filers, haven't heard anything after bio noa. It appears uscis came to a sudden hault in November. Do you guys believe it has something to do with the new administration? I read on the May thread there's still people waiting..
Any thoughts?
