Mine expires 11/30 and i was able to call last week and they said someone would call me back within 5 business days to schedule an infopass to get a stamp in my passport.

    Hello,

I called this morning and spoke to a regular representative about my situation.

They told me the same that someone will call within 5 business days to discuss if an appointment can be schedule for a stamp on passport.

By the way, I called a month ago and they didn't accept it because my extension letter was still valid until today...

    Let see.

My I-797 18 months letter expired on the september 21. I tried to get an update from USCIS. I filled an E-request, just told me that is still on time. Does any one had any luck? My case got  transferred (July 16, 2020 Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction) I am heading to 2 years, I was planning to travel internationally, but i don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon. Because it's hard to get appointments at USCIS for stamp on my passport.

    Hello

On November 5th which is tomorrow, my extension letter will also expire.

I will definitely call to tell them that I am traveling soon and even need some kind of proof of status for employment.

I would highly suggest to speak with a Tier one officer when someone answers the call.

March filer here, WAC center, We are scheduling an interview since past 18 months and I have filed N400 already. Today my extension letter expired and struggling to get a stamp on my passport but looks like infoPass appointments are a big deal.

Hey, I hope you doing ok. I called yesterday and asked to get a stamp on my passport because I need to travel overseas very soon. Someone took my info and told me that I will have someone call me within 5 business days to schedule an appointment for a I551 on passport.

@Scandi did you apply for n400? I am about to file online but I need a bit of help, could you please give me the list of documents I’d need to upload

    Hey,

Everything you need to upload is on the N400 website application you can also save and do it later so take a look at it.

What I can suggest you is creating a folder on your computer where you will bring together all the document in order to be better organized.

    Bon courage.

Got it - thanks! Haven't filed yet so wasn't sure what you could upload along with the form itself.

    No problem!

I filed for the N400 beginning of March but we didn't have our 2019 Tax returned done by that time once we did, I was able to upload it to my account on the website.

The best thing you can do is creating a folder on your computer if you will file online and start bringing all the document together.

By the way on the website there is an estimate of 8 months so I hope that before the end of the year it will be approved.

I’m on the same boat as you! I filed in February 2019. Got my fingerprints applied to my case exactly a year ago (5/3/2019) and haven’t had any updates since! 😔

    Same here.

Got my case transfered to new office on 03/16 and then nothing.

I feel like something should happen soon.

btw, I filed my N400 online 2months ago and got biometrics appointment canceled due to the COVID-19.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share that after no updates on the "new website" and "old website" not being able to find my case number since the beginning, the "old website" is finally working to reflect my case status! If anybody else has been frustrated by absolutely no updates to their case status since the initial "received" message, maybe try checking the old website again, especially if your case has been transferred somewhere.

I'm a WAC filer, who was transferred to NBC for interview scheduling in early March. My case status on the "new website" (https://my.uscis.gov/) has never updated from case received--even after biometrics and after we got a letter that our case was transferred to NBC, the status on the website didn't change. And the "old website" (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do) had never even worked for me (would say case not found) in the first place and when I checked again after biometrics, so I had given up on it.

Today, I decided to try the old website again, now that the case has been transferred to NBC for >1 month, and this time it worked! It says "Case is Ready to be Scheduled for Interview!"

It's a small victory, especially in this age of no interviews until who-knows-when,  but it reassures me that our case isn't lost, and that someone somewhere updated the status of it. 🙂

    Hi

I'm also a WAC filer and my case was also transferred and new office has new jurisdiction since early March. Hopefully we get approve very soon.

  8. Hi, good evening everyone.

I hope everyone is ok and are enjoying some family times for the holidays.

It seems that many filers from previous month get their ROC approved around 12 months after sending the package to USCIS.

I was reading that some people had to go do fingerprints again while other didnt have to. I personally had to do it May and since then nothing happened just it was updated and the website.

Has anyone been approved or got a RFE?

If yes please share your info, Thank you

  9. Hi everyone,

I have a friend from France that tried to apply for the B2 while having the ESTA to be able to spend more than 3 months in the U.S. However, when he went to Paris for his interview he got his application denied by the consular officer. He waited about 6 months to start the process of this time applying for the ESTA since the previous one was canceled due to his denial on the B2. This time his ESTA was refused couple of hours after submitting his application online. He told me that he will re apply for the B2, he has strong ties with France such as kids and work, he never overstayed in the USA or created any kind of troubles.

Did this situation happened to anyone? Tips and advices would be strongly appreciated.

    Thank you

  10. Hi everyone,

I hope that the process for ROC has been going smoothly for everyone, we are already April the 1st. I have received my NOA containing my 18 months extension letter a week after sending my packet to Phoenix Arizona.

I have read that some people have already got an appointment for biometrics, in my case nothing yet but after reading in other threads it seems that sometimes you are not required to do them again.

Do anyone knows about how to do or get the spreadsheet for March 2019 fillers?

    Thank you.

  11. Hi,

I hope that everyone's process preparing and sending package goes well. I just received my 18months extension letter today, exactly 8 days after we sent my package.

Next coming thing should be the appointment for fingerprints but after reading some other posts, I believe that I will not be required to do it again.

Have a good weekend and good luck, we are the best 😎

  12. Good morning folks!

I just received a text message from USCIS that my case was received with a receipt #WAC........... saying that I should receive my I-797 by mail soon.

I tried to add this receipt # on my USCIS online account with no success since an error message is showing up.

It might take some time but the good thing is that they received the package and cashed the money.
