  1. I did not request a letter from US Embassy Manila when I obtained mine way back in 2019. The documents I submitted:

    1. Scanned copy valid Passport biometric page

    2. Scanned copy I- 129F NOA2 approval Notice

    3. US Embassy Manila Pre- Interview checklist

    4. Digital passport size photograph

    5. Scanned Philippine postal Identity card (front and back)

By the way, she needs her FIN to be able to apply a Singapore Certificate of Clearance

  2. So ok I called USEM and I was able to speak with agent what's baffled me is that she says my application still under AP?? my heart sank because I don't really know what's going on😥 how could my CEAC status shows issued then? I couldn't get more details because the line suddenly  cut and tried to reconnect but no luck.

  3. Hi @Hank  I did that for the past few days. Input my Passport/ UID/ case numbers even my MNL # but all came out Invalid. Anyway Thank you for your input I'll wait till tomorrow for any updates, if none then I'll call USEM on Monday.

    CEAC status still shows Issued.

  4. Hello vj members I really need your input to help mellow me out. My CEAC status shows issued since Oct 20 got even an email from Manila IV info informing  me that I have been issued a visa. The next day again I received an with the same wording. What's worrying me is that gonna be 7 days yet haven't received my passport. Is this normal? I tried by all means to locate my passport but nothing showed up.

  5. Covid-19  vaccine rollout here in Philippines showing progress at least. In my city for example it's easier to get a covid-19  jab now. I supposed to get my first dose today but due to my recent 2 immunization shots from Saintlukes  the lady nurse at the vaccine site asked me to come back next week but because of my upcoming interview at USEM. I'll get it on a later date.

  6. Congratulation! had my saintlukes medical exam too last week 16th at 7am and it took me only half a day to complete the entire procedure. The lady radiographer who took my xray so kind and friendly she even tied up my long hair perfectly. At around 1 pm the lady nurse at the counter called my name and asked me some questions and then she handed me the brown sealed envelop, CD and the immunization record form and by the way, this is my second medical exam the first one done last October 2020 but got  expired so need to redo. I got 2 shots this time.

  7. I am sorry we haven't updated  our k1 visa timeline. We sent our 129-f  to USCIS  on Sept 2, 2019. Our case has been ready in US embassy Manila since June 2020 and finally on 12th this month I received an email given me an interview date for Oct 7, 2021. So things are moving but it is slow.

  8. This news looks interesting to me, if I am understanding it correctly. As a person not belong to any priority group list here in the Philippines, I recieved not a single dose of covid-19 jab as of today. If Saintlukes will provide this covid-19 vaccine as part of your medical examination; great then, it gives me hope to get vaccinated.

  9. Hello this is V I think she just feeling bored being locked up at home. But this is our situation here. She needs to learn on how to deal with the current situation. I also live in a studio type apartment by myself and I treat my day just another normal day. Pretty much I'm just holing  up in my cave doing things I enjoy such as exercising, hand sewing, watching tv and playing games. I only go out when I have important appts  or doing my grocery shopping. I don't deny that I'm also struggling of being away from my fiance. We haven't seen each other for more than 2 years now. But the things I enjoy doing and the hours of video calling with him keeps me going every single day.

  10. Hi, this is BJ.   V just sent me a Youtube link, called k1 visa update Philippines interview schedule, that was created a week ago. In this video Rick said that he has received an email from the US Embassy in the Philippines that states....they think that they will resume normal duties in August. Has anyone else received such an email? They was just sending out the old generic email that stated as the situation improves we will begin phasing in....blah blah blah. This is all new news to me; anyone else?

  11. She is in Singapore and some times in Malaysia with her employeer.....yes that is another option i am looking deeply into but finding little info on. Hong Kong keeps popping up on forums and im trying to see if it can be do in other countries as well.

  12. Hi I'm new here and glad to be a part of this community. First, let me say that I meet a wonderful woman who happens to be an OFW from the Philippines; Over time we have grown closer and closer. She has not been back to the Philippines in over thirteen years due to the fact the her husband was abusive and has made threats towards her. Over time I have been reading in VJ looking for an annulment lawyer to help us, but people seem to be very close lip about who their lawyer is even though VJ is about helping out one another. So maybe my recent contact with one may help out others from making the same mistake. This lawyer from Manila was recommended on here and on other expat forums. I had my girlfriend call Pulido and she was told to send her marriage certificate to see if she could find any errors. No errors was found. My girlfriend was led to believe the lawyer would except her as a client; she then started asking her questions and was told she would answer them later, but first contact her husband and get his reaction, Well my girlfriend did, and he threaten her (he does not know about us). He also tried to extort money out of her. Well my girlfriend called Pulido back and told her about his threats; Pulido replied back that she only excepts uncontested annulments. Pulido should have told her from the beginning that she only did uncontested annulments.....instead she misrepresented herself and possible stirred up issues for my girlfriend. Long story short, I do not recommend this lawyer.

My girlfriend believes she said this because she figured since she is a filipina then she wont have the money to proceed with the long contested case. So VJ'ers what do you think?

So can someone recommend an annulment lawyer from the Philippines in Manila that we both can go to (American friendly) that will be straight up with us from the start.
