I had a similar experience. I called 39 days before my letter expires and they told me to call back in 9 days because it has to be less than 30 days to expiration to schedule the appointment - but just a couple days later my case got approved. So hang in there, they’re finally working on ROC cases again

    That's fantastic - congrats!

You need to call USCIS number, state that you want to make an info pass appoitment, talk to a call center worker describe your situation. They will call you back from Washington D.C within 2 days to schedule an appointment. You will be able to choose day and time. Don't go to USCIS without an appoitment. The security guard will not let you in. Thank you

How do you actually get through to a person at USCIS? We have called many times and there is an automated line. No matter what option you pick or what you say, it will not put you through to a representative.

Do you have a pending N400? My i751 from Potomac  was transferred yesterday to. But I think it’s because I have a pending N400 and a couple days before, I had gotten a biometrics reuse. So now I’m assuming 😬 both cases are at my local office which is Baltimore. All the best!

My husband has his I-751 sitting w/ Potomac since Oct 2019. Pending N-400. We just got the notice they will reuse biometrics. So, maybe a notice is forthcoming of case transfer to local office.

When we log into MyUSCIS it says estimated completion for N-400 is Feb.

Good luck to you all! Good to see some movement.

Any more updates from anyone? I've been waiting 17 months now this is insane 😪

Nope, no updates for us either. Submitted I-751 to Potomac in Oct 2019. 😔

Wow that is crazy! I've been waiting over 4 months so far and I only have "Case has been received".  I haven't even gotten biometrics update yet...

They never updated that my husband did his biometrics in Jan of 2020.

Has anyone else filed form 400 for citizenship even though the ROC i751  is still pending and long overdue?    My wife is here three years on the 3rd of November and we are seriously considering dropping the citizenship forms in.  Thoughts ?   thanks

Yes, we filed N-400 in Sept. I-751 continues to sit gathering dust since Oct 2019.

It looks like my RFE is for biometrics?! Did I maybe miss this letter? I filed in OCT through LIN.

I am off work monday so do you guys know if they let people do walk in's if we have a letter with an RFE requesting biometrics

We also filed in Oct and just yesterday rec’d the appointment letter for biometrics.

Are you saying the letter you rec’d was not the appointment letter for biometrics and was instead an RFE?it sometimes just takes them awhile to send you your biometrics appt letter. It doesn’t necessarily happen for everyone immediately after filing. I saw someone else on this thread who filed same time as us and are assigned to same center also just rec’d their biometrics appt letter.

Wow! That’s not very nice. I’m not in a rush I think I’m gonna give it a few days then file. Honestly I am just submitting new stuff from the last time I gave the I-485 in. I couldn’t care if they want an interview that’s fine, besides according to processing times in my state, you get the N400 (citizenship) interview before they even make a decision on the green card so they just do both at the same time.

I added like 15 photos, insurances, IDs , we even bought a house together and showed them that don’t know what else they want.

Your evidence sounds perfect :) I’m not sure what rush we were in either. We were about to leave the country for 2 weeks and thought, “yeah! Let’s get this baby in the mail before we go.” Funny how quickly you slip back into that USCIS panic mode after being able to relax for a couple years free of paperwork.

We resubmitted and rec’d our receipt notice and extension within a couple of weeks. GL to you!

What kind of stamp, out of interest?

It’s a long series of numbers that runs from one side of the page to the other and includes the date and time at the end. It’s on every page in the packet. And the top page is initialed in pen by someone.

Then you are given a green sheet that says you have to place on top of your forms when you resubmit. A mark of shame, I guess!

    Hi guys,

Getting ready to send my packet this weekend. For bona fide marriage evidence, do I need to resubmitt evidence from the I-485 packet or just anything new? we bought a house and went on a few family vacations so included all the documentation, I also included bank account statements, IRS 2018 returns, health insurance cards. Think that's sufficient? My husband travels a lot for work so will be away for the next week or so still, he signed the forms on the 20th of October, the date of his signature is not going to be a problem is it? Or are they going to say it needs to be signed within the 90 day window.

Also im confused on the "90 day window" My green card expires on Jan 25 2020, so by my calculation I can send my packet on Sunday ? or does the window start at like day 89 ?

It isn’t necessary to resubmit everything from I-485. The instructions for I-751 say this, in regards to submitting evidence:

”Submit copies of as many documents as you can to establish this fact, to demonstrate the circumstances of the relationship from the date of the marriage to the present date...”

Also learn from our mistake — DO NOT submit your packet early! USCIS rec’d ours 2 days prior to the 90 day window and returned it to us. The entire packet is ruined, too. They run it through a machine that stamps every page, so you have to re-print everything.

The law is the law, even if it would have been received at 11:30 PM on the day before your window opens it would have been rejected.

Otherwise there would be people that would send their I-751 whenever they want after receiving their Conditional Green Card.

It's a different story when filing with a divorce waiver, you can file at any time after you get the divorce decree.

The first three letters of your receipt will indicate the Service Center that is handling your case.

    LIN - Nebraska Service Center

    WAC - California Service Center

    EAC - Vermont Service Center

    SRC - Texas Service Center

    MSC - National Benefits Center

    YSC - Potomac Service Center

What does your receipt number start with?

First, thanks for letting me know what “the law” is. Where would we be without snarky people on forums? Second, USCIS has and does accept I-751’s (without divorce waiver) before the 90 day window. Someone in the Sept 2019 filers just had it happen. So, maybe hold back on your shame attempts there. USCIS is inconsistent at times. We all know that to be true at this point in the process. Ours was 2 days early. They could have placed it in a basket and dealt with it in 2 days rather than waste postage money returning it.

Thanks for the info on the service centers.

    Hello!!!

My husband had his medical exam

in Jamaica on December 23, 2016! Our interview was yesterday 10.16.2017. However, we received an RFEbecause he was not tested for Gonorhea or syphullus. Can someone please help me on what I should do. The officer stated that all I need to do is get him tested and bring back the paper to him.

Can I just text him for the gonorhea and have those results added to the DA-3025 by a civil curgeon or does my husband need a brand new medical exam ?

His DS-3025 is still within the year. The doctors around here are asking for 500$ for a full medical exam or 200$ for just the gonorhea exam.

the RFE states:  :Starting August 01, 2016, the center for Disease Control (CDC) changed its policy on the Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination record. The new policy states that all Form I-693s must have the Gonorrhea test performed and the results must be annotated in the Remarked section of Part 5, Civil Surgeon Worksheet, Section C, other class a/b Conditiond for Communicable Diseases of Public Health Significant regardless if gonorrhea is found or not. The Form I-693 that you submitted does not meet this requirement. Please return to a USCIS Civil surgeon to have a new medical exam. You must submit the new original form and any original supplement completed by the Civil surgeon ( to include the laboratory results) to us.  You and the Civil Surgeon must sign the form, and it must be send to us in a sealed envelope from the Civil Surgeon. If the Civil Surgeon refers you to a specialist, the exam by the specialist must be included, and the socialist must complete the proper sections of the Form I-693.

Well, you stated “ The officer stated that all I need to do is get him tested and bring back the paper to him.“

That seems to indicate a full medical is not needed, only the tests.
