Hi. This is probably a dumb question but I’m putting my NVC package together and just wondering if you put it together like they have listed on the checklist all together or if you separated the AOS and IV packages in different envelopes but mailed together in same package? I’m also side loading my package but I’ll put that at the very end. Thanks.

I am putting it all together like they said on the check list. Better to do what they say. You dont want any delays.

I'm stuck with an issue on the Consular Electronic Application Center site. I have filled the D-261 and have paid the first $120 fee back in August. I can't start teh IV application as the Start NOW button is greyed out and the PAY NOW I can click but does not show a fee. What am I missing? Please help

Mine looks the same, but i just paid October24th. I tried to call NVC today but it says all representatives are busy, blah blah and then disconnects. I did email them and i am waiting for a reply.

Okay, I see. I received my NOA2 on Oct 2nd and it there it says they have sent my case to NVC but so far I haven't received any e-mail/text message from USCIS nor is the status updated on their website.

USCIS takes some time to send out to the NVC. You will receive an email (as long as you provided an email to them) when they send it out. Once you get that, uscis online will be updated. I can't seem to figure out how they handle cases, there is no logic to it. But i hope you get an email soon saying theysent it to nvc. After that the process picks up. Good luck!

Congrats!! How do you know USCIS sent your package on October 5th? Did your status change on the website or you received your NOA2 on Oct5th?

Thanks!! I got an email from USCIS that stated they sent it out. My case got approved sept.13 i believe (check my timeline)...so it took some time for them to send it. Once i got the email, it was updated online.

  5. Update!!!

Just got an email from NVC at 1am. It was a welcome letter with my case number and a checklist on what to include and basically what to do next.

I know the uscis sent my package on October 5th, not sure when NVC received it (maybe a week later because it went from Texas to New Hampshire).

I updated my timeline. Keep holding on everyone. It's a slow and gruelling process but totally worth it to be in our husband or wifes arms eventually 😊😍

I hoping that they misplaced documents because it was all hard copies and there was a lot of paperwork. But I will definitely put it on here what they were requesting.

Omg why would you send hard copies?? It states everywhere to send copies. You need to bring hard copies with you to the interview at the embassy and a copy as well. For future, never submit original documents!!! You will never get them back!! Good luck.

Hi everyone, I have question regarding Affidavit of support. In the form, they ask about what u work and where and the current annual income. I just started working last December 2016, so I don't know my annual income yet, but I Had income from my last job which reflected in my income tax from 2016... I'm confused what to put..... pls any help is really appreciated. Thank you!

Just do the calculation. Don't put down last years because its a different job. That would not make sense. Just calculate however many hours you work times your hourly pay. Not sure where u live so not sure how taxes work but u can estimate that too. Good luck

APPROVED! Yay!!!! *happy dance* It was only 2am here in the Philippines when I got my husband's message. Too happy that I had a hard time getting back to sleep. Lol. Tell me who can sleep with that great news, tell me! 😁

Kidding aside, really feeling so happy and grateful! Not to mention that next month I will be giving birth to our first baby. 👶
I can't wait for our little family to be together. Aahhh!!!
    Thank you, Lord! 😍❤

For our dear fellow VJers, thank you for inspiring us with your stories!
For those who are still waiting, don't worry. You'll have your approval soon. Just hang on!

....and yup! It's gonna be worth it. 😉

***** My call to the Texas Service Center on 09-05-17 *****

Yesterday I decided to call the TSC to inquire about my wife's application PD 03-13-17. The first operator was only able to give me the same information that I am seeing online so I stressed to him that I wanted to be transferred to tier two. After some discussion, I was eventually transferred to tier two and was given the option via an automated system to have them call me back. I was happy to have this option instead of having to wait on the phone endlessly listening to the same melody over and over!

That's great but what did they say?

Life has so many curve balls to throw at us, we have to learn to adapt and just deal with it. Keep the faith, keep praying and it's all going to work itself out. I myself find that i am stressed out more often at times because this is hard, but everyday that passes is one day closer to being with my family. Don't stop for one second and punish yourself, you're doing all you can, there are somethings we just don't have control over.

    Perfectly said!!

I unfortunately have not seen my husband in 2 years!!!! Just through Skype so it is torture! I basically spend all I have on bills and kids!

2 years! Wow the longest we went was 10 months! It's awful isn't it😭💔 i really think they need to fix this process... especially if you are married! We gotta stay strong! It will all be worth it once we are with our husbands/wifes 😁
