Congrats to all who have been approved. I recently downloaded the USCIS case status app and I have been seeing many approvals for Nebraska. This is exciting! My PD is 12/12 so gives me hope that an approval is on the way. 
 
There was even a case which popped up on the app PD 12/4 that was returned to USCIS because the notice was undeliverable. Hopefully they will get through November soon.

Don't give up. Once they finally approve you maybe he should try expediting at NVC stage. A friend of mine did it and it was approved. She stated financial hardship and being the primary caregiver of her mother. 5 days after she submitted the request they told her she was approved.   

I'm hanging, nothing else I can do but hang lol. Still no response yet from the senator and I also tried to expedite but it hasn't even been assigned to anyone yet. I doubt they will grant it anyway but I thought hey it's worth a try. I know our approval will come soon. I am thinking probably some time next month. Maybe it will happen on our anniversary date 7/11, that would be awesome. I hope for all of us the NVC stage goes much faster. I will just feel such a sigh of relief when I finally see "Approved" rather then "Case was Received" lol. 

The average wait time is anywhere between 7-9 months. However, I won't say it's impossible to be approved sooner, there have been some cases here and there. My PD is 12/12 and I am still waiting. I called earlier today and spoke with a Tier 2 officer and was basically told I need to "Wait my turn"
 
There was another person in another thread with PD 11/18, same country but her case was sent to Potomac Center. She is already approved and scheduled for an interview next month. It just seems so unfair. Hang in there.

It's so frustrating seeing people who were routed to other service centers with PD's after mine already approved. Oh well, hopefully we'll all hear something soon

Yes, I tell my husband the same. I said this is a real test of our relationship. If we get through this, we can pretty much survive anything. I have started hitting the gym again and going on long walks etc. to try to alleviate some of the stress.  I am just trying to remain positive and looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel.
