Status changed to Ready on 14th June 
Packet 3: We still haven't received it.
We didn't wait for it and sent all the documents. Embassy received our documents on 16th June and today they sent us an email for interview. 
Interview date: 19th July. 
 
Finally things are moving !  

Hi Neal.. We are actually following the same timeline. Sent all documents and we are waiting for packet 4 as well. I called embassy customer care number twice. Once they asked me to wait for packet 4 (through email) which should have the appointment letter. Next time when I called, they asked me to send an email (visasbkkiv@state.gov) to them asking for appointment. So I have done that as well. 
 
If we go through timeline of others, it may take 3-4 days for getting appointment date from the date embassy receives our packet 3 documents.

Hi this is Neal, we are very close in timelines and both Thailand. My fiance just emailed the ds160, filled out GSS and payed fee, and we mailed back the Packet 6-13. She also got most of her vaccinations and we are just waiting for the appointment date. I assume the appointment date is the "packet 4"? Any idea when this should arrive?

Congratulations on the approval!

We Requested Our Packet 4 Via Email and Got a Interview Date, Medical Instructions etc. Our Case was Approved. 
Hopefully You Guys Get Packet 4 Very Soon! Need It For The Medical Appointment 

Still can't believe you guys are still waiting...Hang in there. It will eventually come. I know that's no consolation at all, but nothing--not even USCIS incompetence--lasts forever.

Tomorrow is the big day...I'm in Jamaica with my fiancé to attend her interview...I think I'm more nervous than her just praying everything goes as planned will be giving you guys a update!!!

Congratulations! We had sent the Packet 3, but did not send the confirmation page. They emailed us, so today we sent the confirmation, and hope to get the interview date tomorrow. Thank you and Good Luck!

Today was our interview in Juarez and we got APPROVED ! I can finally get some sleep! (I'm yawning like crazy at the airport while I'm typing this) 
 
Thank you everyone for their support! I would of gone crazy without you!
 
I hope to get my visa by the end of this week or perhaps next Monday (fingers crossed )
 
 
I'll do a consulate review when I'm home and well rested!

Insights: interviews were going from 45 mins to 3 hrs.
Tips: Have all the documents required w/ copies
        Don't be nervous (you got it!)
        Just be natural in conversation

We got back from Juarez Yesterday and .... WE GOT APPROVED!
We are just waiting for our visa to be DHL How exciting!!! WISHING YOU GUYS THE BEST!!

Wooohooo!! Interview date of July 11th!! Already got notice that the Cenomar has been delivered and now just need to complete the fingerprinting at the Singapore police on the 28th and we will be ready! All of the way we have been blessed to have friends that have helped and guided us through this journey. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Jon & Malen

Good news ! Looks like what I read was right that they update status around 15th of every month ! 

Hi... Now your case should be ready to get transferred to local embassy. If you already have your case number you can track on CEAC website. 
Just check local US embassy website there should be a list of documents you will need to prepare for packet 3. And process after that actually varies embassy to embassy. For Thailand we need to courier these documents but we read for some one can only send via email. Hope it helps. Good luck.  

Hey everyone, today the CSC changed the "processing applications as of " to January 15th!  I called and got a refernce number for a review of my case.  As of now, it is still in a pending status of "received 12/27"  per the rep on the phone.  Now I have to wait another "up to 15 days" for a response to the inquiry.  Here's hoping my case just slipped into a crack and we will be approved soon.

The NVC Tracker says our case is
ready, I just submitted the Ds-160 online but I couldn't schedule the interview. In order to schedule, we need to create an account on the CASV - Rio de Janeiro US embassy, but it says that our case  number is not ready for the next step... don't know what to do right now.  I can't call them to talk about k-1 visa, they want me to do it through email... and I will have to wait 3-5 days to get an answer 🙄🙄🙄🙄

What we did once we received the READY notice I called the embassy and the customer service rep verified information and then provided me with a date and time for both the Interview and Fingerprinting. She said that my fiancé would have to schedule the Medical appointment. After selecting the appointment I was transferred to and automated system that took my credit card and then a few hours later my fiancé (applicant) received a confirmation email. ( when calling NVC make sure they have your email and applicant on file).
 

HI everyone, I haven't checked in for a while. Been busy at work and buried under the mountain of paperwork that this K-1 Visa requires. We are on our last steps of this long journey. We have our NBI clearance and have an approved certificate of clearance from Singapore police but can't get the fingerprint appointment until the 28th of June. Malen went to the Medical Exam last Saturday at Fullerton Health Clinic and they were very nice to her. We sent our packet 3 checklist and fee reciept yesterday. Now if the medical results and the Cenomar get to the embassy we will be all set for the interview.
