I had my interview today and got approved. The interview only took 15 minutes.  I was little worried because I only took 4 photos and everyone else had whole photo album with them.
 
 7 months of this exhausting  process, hundreds of documents, frustrating calls to uscis, all the worries, anxiety,  and it all came down to 15 minutes.
 
So relieved and excited right now.  The moment CO said, "your visa is approved", phew that feeling is indescribable. 
 
All the best to everyone who are still waiting for interview and medical. You will get through it and be with your love soon.
 

Fiances are considered close family ties so no need to worry everyone!

Cenomar arrived at the Hong Kong embassy. Next up police clearance July 5th and then get packet three sent back, d160, get packet 4 and schedule medical and interview!!!!
 
It's getting close!!

Roger, the Embassy won't tell you if they recieved it or not. You check your status on the E-census page. You use the number you were given on your reciept. After a couple of days it will say "no evidence of prior marriage has been found" or something like that. Then you can get a tracking number and track thru philpost. We used to check every day. ( Malen every ten minutes! 😂) you can send your packet 3 back as soon as you pay the embassy fee and have everything on your checklist done. Grace will get an email with her interview date.   

He went to the immunization center in dallas tx (cheaper) he also did the TB skin test.

My husband, children and I are here at the hotel now. He had his medical appt on Tuesday and finger print yday

HI Roger. I did it through E-census. It only took two weeks to deliver from Philippines to Singapore. I used my credit card and didn't have any issues. I had a problem setting up the FedEx account and decided to take our chances with Philpost delivery and it was fine. Malen got the last piece of the puzzle today. She had her fingerprints taken and got her Singapore certificate of clearance after waiting for five minutes. Only thing left is the Interview on July 11th!!! I finally got an interview slot but it was of course on the most inappropriate day (I have a professional licensing exam that can't be moved) just my luck! lol So I'm still waiting! Good luck and thanks for the help!

Jon. We also used ecensus2. Following your lead..( I think sent a few weeks ago.)  How does Grace know when the embassy gets it, so she can send the packet 3 back?   Schedule for the  medical at least 7 days out and the interview.   We're getting close,  I can feel  it!

  We are waiting for the CENOMAR (Certificate of no prior marriage) requirement from the Philippines to arrive in Hong Kong.. I cant believe they said takes 6-8 weeks to get here>> Really?
 
But, if we fed ex it./.. it comes in three days.. 
 
My fiance'  does not have a credit card to do that on, and the name "has to be hers" to match the CENOMAR  that they use?
 
How do we do this?  I can't use mine because it has my name.   Any suggestions?

Woohooo, finally our petition got approved today June 21, 2017 after 6 weeks of waiting when they received our RFE on May 10, 2017 .  What a relief, those that are still waiting for NOA2 I hope you all get it soon.

We actually got a reply from them and which said Visa will be issued on the name in Passport. But interview letter remains the same. Now almost all ready for interview, have medical appointment coming Saturday. 
My fiance lives in North Carolina. I am living here in Bangkok.

We're December filer, they received our RFE on May 10, and still waiting for NOA2.  Made inquiry but no response yet why it's taking so long.

While we were celebrating interview date, we realized that spelling of my name is wrong on interview letter. Two alphabets got inter-changed ! 
So now have sent them an email. Lets see what happens. 

Email The U.S Embassy Immigrant Visa Side, Requesting Packet 4. 

We submitted an inquiry and did eventually receive an email with a report out of the findings. Luckily our case was approved between the inquiry and when they reported out, so the news was that we were approved (at about 6 months wait time, that is). It took around 2-3 weeks to hear back from the inquiry if I'm remembering correctly.
 

Hello everyone. It has been awhile since being on this tread but have been busy helping my fiancée getting ready for interview. To bring up to date on what has happened application got to Manila embassy in early May. She never did receive any kind of packet or notification from the embassy of them receiving the application. But no matter she was really busy after that getting all the required papers collected for the interview. On June 15 and 16 took her medical at St. Lukes and passed her medical. We had already scheduled her interview before the medical for June 22. Had her interview and was approved for the visa but the visa is on hold pending the embassy receive a police clearance from Qatar. We knew going into the interview that she was going to be needing the police clearance but we took our chances. The police clearance is in the works now and was in the works before she went to the interview. So now we are in limbo waiting for the police clearance from Qatar and hoping that it will not take the 2 to 3 months they say it could take. When we requested the police clearance we went through the Qatar embassy in Manila and hoping by doing that it might not take as long. So now everything is finished and can really relax. Just the wait for the police clearance, submit that to the embassy and receive her visa and we will be together again. Thanks to everyone here for their support and help when it was needed.

It just means they should have "touched" or worked on every application prior to January 15th.  This does not apply to RFE's or applicaions that have been updated in some way by USCIS. 

Hello Jonathan&Beatriz, we are in the same boat, they will respond to your email couple hours later if you send it early on the morning, my answer was, they can't find my process, to wait for an email. Just give a try.

Today I'm travelling to Ciudad Juarez to have my interview tomorrow. I am so nervous and excited that I couldn't sleep last night.  I'm hoping to get approved. It's been such a long wait.
