Samires, I know how hard it is. It took us almost 3 months to get our NOA2. After NOA2 the process is extremely fast. We received our NOA2 on Feb 03rd, by the end of Feb our case was in transit to RJ Consulate. On March 07th I did the medical and March 14th I'd the interview. Today I received my passport back and schedule my flight for next week. Hopefully soon you'll get you NOA2.

The waiting game is hard, I was going crazy during the 3 months between NOA1 and NOA2. After getting my NOA2 on Feb 03rd, the whole process went so fast that I can't believe that now is almost done. My interview took less than 5 minutes, when I thought the consul was about to start the interview he said "congratulations, your visa was approved". He asked questions that people always ask me about. 1. When did you meet your fiancé? 2. How did you meet him? 3. When did you start dating? 4. When did he propose? 5. If he had come to Brazil and had met my family? 6. If any of us have been married before or have any kids. The interview was in Portuguese. FINALLY, THE LONG WAIT IS OVER.**** VISA WILL BE ISSUED IN 5 TO 10 WORKING BUSINESS DAYS! ****
I hope this journey of us will continue to keep intouch even we all got APPROVED!
 
I pray that all the anxiety, sleepless night and those moments where u want to hug ur betterhalf and only a small screen infront of u will be over. More NOA2s for people whose waiting long enough to get approved.
 
I pray that all the people whose in process of doing there medical will be release in just 2days
 
I pray that all the people whos waiting for there NVC number will be issued as soon as possible that when they call the NUMBER is already ASSIGNED.
 
I pray that on the final step which is the interview in the Embassy will be smooth and you get the magic word APPROVED!!!!
 
 And last.... i pray to our almighty father that all our fiance will be with our love ones soon so the agony, stress, crying at night and the feeling of incomplete will be WHOLE AGAIN SO WE CAN ALL HAVE HAPPY LIFE AND START A NEW BEGINNING.

I had my consul interview earlier today and my visa got approved!
 
As long as the relationship between the two of you is real, there's really nothing to worry about, although I myself was worried the whole week before the interview and nervous AF when I was about to be called at the embassy.

This afternoon, I left for a work conference in San Francisco.  I decided that I wasn't going to think about the visa at all -- I was just going to enjoy being in California.  The plane landed, I took my phone out of airplane mode, and the app said APPROVED!!!!!! I almost burst into tears in seat 23B.  I keep checking the app again just to make sure it's real!

After being put on hold for about an hour from NVC (the music they play when you're on hold may haunt my dreams after this past week) we got the news that our Visa was sent via DHL yesterday! So sending lots of good luck to those without their NOA2's, but on the bright side it was a super quick turn around at NVC! It only took them a few days to give us our case number and send it out!
 
Now the next step is just hoping that the wait at the US embassy for them to process our case and give us an interview date doesn't take a couple months. Unfortunately the U.S Embassy in Kenya is the only embassy that processes K1 visas for all East African countries  
 
Staying positive, hopeful and happy like always! Sending good vibes to those still waiting 

Hurray!  Aaron called the NVC this morning and we have our case number so I can go ahead and schedule the medical now.
 
For those of you stll waiting - it does change eventually.  You will get there - in a week or two you'll be posting this update!  We are all moving forward - hang in there!

113 days, but who's counting?
I assumed the worst, thinking I'd be waiting till the end of the year for this, or that my case fell behind a shelf.
But today my case was finally approved!! (technically on February 7th) 
It was already a great day, I spent it at a secluded beach near Da Nang, Vietnam, with my fiancée. And then, it was an even better end to the day, by checking my phone and *boom* I get the notification with her sitting right by my side <3 
 
All I can say is just hold tight, good news is on the way for others waiting.
 
I have a really good feeling Jim's case will be approved this week
