Amica Nostra reacted to yuna628 in Man Sought in Waffle House Shooting Had Been Arrested Near White House
I think some of the most disturbing details about this case, is the fact he had his guns and permit physically removed from him by law enforcement (and under FBI request) and that simply because his father (who lived in the home) requested law enforcement give the weapons to him for 'safekeeping', the police did just that. The father than returned the weapons to the son, and obviously knew his son was a nutjob. The father should be in jail.

This guy has a long history, of attempting to get in the WH, stalking Taylor Swift, was arrested for threatening to shoot someone, arrested for public nudity, believes he is a 'sovereign citizen' has had the police reports filed against him numerous times describing his deluded mental state...

A classic example of someone who does not belong having guns, and delusional parents...

Sounds like it was stonewalled  by every Secretary of State in the country.  Once Pence and Kobach figured out they were not going to get away with Illegal data gathering they folded.

And yet, President Trump's blue ribbon panel turned up no proof to support your fears, despite the taxpayer expense.

Amica Nostra reacted to Steeleballz in Assange has ‘physical proof’ Russia didn’t hack DNC – Congressman
So two parties can't be involved in a crime, either jointly or separately?  If you and I both rob a bank and you get caught on camera, does that prove I'm innocent? That's basically what you are asserting here.

If Assange does have evidence that someone else was involved, he should release that evidence. He should have a long time ago. He is supposed to be all about the truth after all.

So pro Putin stooge Dana Rorhabacher claims Assange said he has proof that Russia didn't perform the hacking or provide WikiLeaks with the material. No mention of the other breaches, probes or advertising/disinfomation campaigns.

Assange has never claimed he knew who did the hacking in public, just who supplied him. So the "proof" is new. Or it could be he is talking out husband backside in hopes that the Brits don't lock him up.

Top it off that a Russian stooge, who happens to have a Kremlin codename, is telling Breitbart this and it is picked up by, uh-huh, the Russia Times.

Sadness because she is gone, but so many good memories. She always reminded me of a grandmother, a very strong, comforting, pleasant person to be around.

I think it's in their best interest to treat people as potential customers anyway. If they notice someone specifically abusing the policy, coming in every day and not buying then I could see staff raising the issue. Otherwise I'm not sure what they gain. They have to clean the restrooms anyway. A few non customers using it doesn't change that, and at $5 a coffee, I don't think you want to risk losing customers (and potential customers) by making people upset over what is really a non issue.

I'm content to let all investigation's run their course, hopefully without either hyperbole or false allegation. I don't find it funny, nor have I ever made any demands in these matters. Many people have something to lose in all this. I am not one of those people.

Unlike some, I am hopeful the truth comes out in the end.

Visitors being bused in all day, until midnight.
Elegant casket (closed) with stunning floral display.
Funeral convoy on Saturday up to College Station.
Mrs. Bush to be interred in family plot, near daughter who died of leukemia in the 1950s at age 3 years.

Amica Nostra reacted to yuna628 in Sandy Hook Parents Hit Alex Jones With Defamation Lawsuits
Absolutely not out of context, and yes, it is messed up. I quoted it verbatim, and forced myself to once again listen to the audio/video of Jan 2015 to ensure that it was the correct one. But that was just one of many horrible things he has said regarding it.

The context of the quote is basically in response to a caller, that is already convinced that the attack on the school and murder of the children is all faked. The caller rambles on a variety of subjects discussed on the radio show (of which I believe Ron Paul was on a segment before), and Jones agrees with him along the way, because in the previous year he had already peddled to his followers that it was all faked, that the kids were perfectly alive, and everyone was an actor. And it's then that he goes into a rant and concludes his thoughts on Sandy Hook with the quoted statement. One of his previous shows, entitled ''Sandy Hook Vampires Exposed'' (and several 'hoax' video 'docu-dramas) touted his claims before that point. That video also still exists and some of his followers began a campaign to physically harass, stalk, and threaten several families which resulted in jail time for one notable figure and the start of many lawsuits. This is the same thing he does every single time. He's done it to soldiers, officers, families, kids, survivors of horrific events. He doesn't care.

Oh and I agree. I'm a little undecided regarding regulations with driving (in part because it's hard to test and therefore enforce) but generally I think we need to drop it from the Scheduled Classification and move forward. It needs to be studied more because it likely has more uses than we know of right now.

"Equivalence" will never be a thing for them. The common argument is "The other person was caught doing that once, so it's okay for this person to do it hundreds of time". They only need one example to feel vindicated. Same argument that is brought up comparing Trump to Obama. As long as Obama lied even once, it's okay for Trump to do it an average of 5+ times per day for his Presidency.

Or the alternative way to justify something is to pull examples from dozens of places and lump them all together, to compare it to examples from one single source. Hence the "Trump lies" thread versus the "Entire "left wing" media lies" thread. One man versus hundreds and somehow that is supposed to be equivalent.

there's nothing in that thread that you haven't said here in this thread, basically you believe cnn is fake news and samantha bee/colbert aren't worth watching. that's awesome, but not the sort of hard fact evidence i require to change my opinion to believe that cnn churns out the same level of disinformation as infowars/alex jones - which was the original claim.

Well there have been individual charges of conspiracy as a result of the investigation.

Absence of evidence (public knowledge) does not mean there is evidence of absence (investigation is still ongoing and, for the most part, confidential).

Roger Stone calls Barbara Bush a ‘nasty drunk’ and whips up controversy in Northwest Florida

The Okaloosa County GOP says it's uninvited Roger Stone from its annual dinner next month after he made disparaging remarks about former first lady Barbara Bush, calling her a "nasty drunk" and other things.
"It's tough to lose a speaker when you're three weeks out, but this is what I felt needed to be done out of respect for Barbara Bush," county REC Chairman Mark Franks said in a statement. "I thought he'd be entertaining but for me this went over the line."
Stone disputed the events and said he backed out. "I cancelled my appearance as the sponsors wanted to censor my public comments, which is unacceptable," he told the Northwest Florida Daily News.
On Instagram following the 92-year-old's death, Stone wrote: "Barbara Bush drank so much booze, if they cremated her … her body would burn for three days."
