I am so sorry to hear about the death of your husband. Hold onto your memories and take some time to heal. I hope you and your daughter can move forward with the help of your friends and family.
-
Congrats on your approval... best wishes with your move to the U.S.!!!

Welcome to VJ and good luck with your journey!!!
Don't worry about having met online.... lots of us here on VJ did the same thing with no problems!!!
-
They will most likely just schedule the oath ceremony to make sure it's within the correct timeline.
Good luck at the interview!!!
-
Congrats to you both!!! Best wishes with the rest of the process.... and hopefully, quickly!!!
-
Good luck with the English classes for your kids.... fortunately, English is one of the easiest languages to learn.
-
Congrats!!! Enjoy your rest from immigration for a while!!!

Wouldn't bother me whatsoever, might even like it because it would be easy to remember.
-
We filed on our own, but we did get a free consult with a lawyer and then decided to do it ourselves.

We partied on NYE, I probably won't lose my job in 2011, but want to look for another one anyways, paid fairly, and love the new fries!!!

My husband (USC) sleeps on the left side, me on the right.... looking at the bed from the foot of the bed, looking towards the headboard.
I have ALWAYS slept on the right side of the bed, and even though it would be better now for me to sleep by the window (I'm very hot at night), it would mean I'd have to sleep on the left side of the bed, and I just can't do it!!!

It will be 7 years for us in August.... it has gone so fast and hopefully the next 6 1/2 years will go just as fast because that's when we plan to retire and move back to Canada.
-
Welcome to VJ and best wishes for a speedy process!!! Look forward to hearing about your progress along the way!!!
-
You will be fine without a ring, so good luck and best wishes with the rest of the process.

Good luck with the process!!! Hope it goes smoothly for you!!!

Welcome back... glad you have your kids with you now.

I'm positive they will return your whole package and request a check in the correct amount.
No big deal, just a small delay.
Good luck.

Congrats and best wishes with the next steps!!!

Sorry to hear of your situation.
Best wishes as you move forward with your life.

Congrats!!! Enjoy your new life as a proud U.S. citizen!!!

I drove with my Canadian driver's license right up until the time I got my Washington state drivers license. I had to take the written and driving test in Washington. Luckily, because I had been driving for over 30 years, the driving tester was more interested in talking about my immigration process than actually having me do the test, so it was a piece of cake. They realize you must know what you're doing if you've been driving for over 30 years, but it's just a formality.
Good luck with your move to the U.S. You will slowly get used to your new life, although don't rush it.... I've been here for over 6 years and I still miss Canada a lot.

My daughter is 23, and I only became a U.S. citizen 2 years ago... she was too old at that time.
-
My daughter is eligible to apply because of "being a permanet resident for at least 5 years". She is not eligible because she married a U.S. citizen, so the checklist only lists the three things I first posted as things she has to attach to her N-400 application.

Congrats and best wishes!!!
Personal Problems
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
Even though it has been quite a long time since our K-1 visa process, I can still remember vividly how much stress we were both under and how much we had minor disagreements. They were quite frequent, and we attributed them to the fact that we were obsessed with the process and wanting it to be over.
After we got our approval, and I moved to the U.S., things got a lol better for us.
Just hang in there and remember that you are not alone.
Good luck!!!!
