this website definitely needs new servers... sometimes pages take minutes to open.
Can really see the reason for closing the the other thread, as it's not the amount of thread pages that slow down those servers, it's the # of users viewing it

I want to echo you, @mountainsea. This thread saved me from insanity during our painful over 90 days waiting. Having gone through that, I feel deep sympathy for everyone of you waiting their NOA-2 here. I know how tough it is. Sending positive vibes and prayers your way, guys.
 
Hey @JimJesDuma, thank you for starting the old thread and maintaining a positive attitude through the darkest days. I'm still waiting to hear a wonderful news from you. Haven't had any alcohol for ages, but decided that I will have a glass of wine for you when you get your NOA-2. Just want to let you know that there are people all over the world thinking about you and wishing you the most wonderful things.

Holy smoke! Our thread got so big we got a part 2. This is a great group of folks here helping each other out and I am so glad to have found it. Thanks to all the posters who have provided information and those that are sharing their journey here. It certainly has made my journey easier reading everyone's updates each day.
I think Jim will be proud of what he started when he gets back from paradise!

Not sure if Philipines is a paradise but all depends how one would look at it. Surely this trend kips us sain.

We finally reached a homestraight of our journey. My medical and an interview have been paid and scheduled, all the paperwork is ready. Now I am waiting again and getting jitters because of the upcoming interview; even have had nightmares about it, LOL.

My fiance is, and there are many, many Filipinos on VJ. It is even be the most common nationality here by far (416 K1s from Philippines in the last year, compared to 239 from the UK, the 2nd highest here). Welcome.
 
Besides a general "the odds are pretty good", it's really up to the individual's circumstances. Does your fiance meet the requirements for the I-129F petition (including meeting at least once within the past 2 years)? Do you have proof of a bona fide relationship? Can you meet the other requirements & obtain the necessary documentation? Do you have any red flags? Have you been denied multiple visas in the past? All those factors, and more, play into the result.
 
That said, unless there is a reason for denial, generally K-1s are approved for real relationships. I can't say it always happens, but it's a rare occurrence that somebody who qualifies for a K-1 and has a valid relationship is denied.

Today.. I just came from sad defeat from the championship of my wifes volleyball tournament after 9 straight sweep from different school.  It was aired via television here in the phiippines.  I told them to cheer up bcuz for me they did excellent so we went hang out and celebrate.  We drink moderately and went home like 2AM.  I check my app and it said case status change.... Maybe since im tipsy a lil bit.. I called USCIS and the guy on the other line said our case was approve and congratulate me.  *** UR CASE WAS APPROVED!!!!!!  NOW I KNOW HOW U GUYS FELT.  ITS LIKE WINNING THE LOTTERY!  I can never ask for more.  Im still here in the Philippines with her bcuz i want to support her on her volleyball journey.  They may not win today but God replace her sadness with much more blessings.  
 
Its 3:49Am and i can never sleep.  I kept on checking the app... Hahhaha.  
I can tell you that even though God never answer u yet.  He never fail to surprise us in his own way.  Keep on praying and he will give ur hearts desire.  God bless all of us thats been patienly learned the value of patience.
