Well I would have thought so too.

I had my biometrics in mid-June so I would imagine it's just sheer volume of applicants causing delay. Just trying to stay patient but it's not easy!

I was hoping cos iv been in the system had work visas the last 7 years that it would be quicker for me but obviously not.

has your online case updated yet, are you switching from a k1 visa ora work visa

It doesn't, does it? I knew from recent posts that the 90 days for getting the EAD now seems to be something They don't do anymore and most are taking 100 days plus. But I expected more from a SR than just "they haven't processed it yet".

From what I understand, the fingerprints for the EAD most times you get the all clear in a 4/5 days, it's the same fingerprint check You do if you want to work with kids or at a college

i don't see why there is such a delay unless they have piles of papers sat on a desk, surely the fingerprint check on the EAD is the last step

We applied the beginning of July 2017 for EAD and GC.

My husband did his biometrics August 1st (I believe) our estimate for the EAD is 4-5 months (November - ish). It's super frustrating my husband has a job offer as a private contractor but since it isn't a formal company position we can't file for an expedite. We can't wait until he can work.

You can check your Visajourney Time line for an estimate based on processing times. Ours is estimated 11/4 - 11/10 for EAD.

How do I check my VJ timeline.

luckily for me so far I can work on my h2b work visa which runs out November 25th, I want to change jobs which is better money, the EAD wait is frustrating me already

  4. Hey guys

I am also filing aos in Baltimore, going from a h2b work visa to green card through marriage.

I had my fingerprints done for EAD and GC 2 weeks ago, what's the next step. After reading threads the interview seems ages away due to Baltimore being behind.

I can still work on my visa but want the EAD, how long after fingerprints should or when would I roughly here.

    Any help would be appreciated

  6. Guys

    Confused reading the threads

When filing the i485 and i130 concurrent it asks for proof of relationship.

Some threads are saying don't send anything other than your marriage certificate and wait for the interview

while some are saying to send proof with your application

If I'm sending stuff how many photos of me and my wife should I send, along with our bank statement, driving licenses of both of us with same address.

Is there anything else or just save it for the interview

  7. Guys, myself and my wife are currently going through the paperwork, I work here in America so doing an AOS.

I have my U.K. Police certificate and also a MD and PA FBI fingerprint clearance due to the job I hold here in USA.

My question is, I will submit my Uk police certificate, should I also send in my MD and PA checks or leave them out of the paperwork and take them when I'm called for the interview

  8. Hey guys,

I need some info on whether or not to submit the employment i-765 form.

I am currently here in the USA on a company sponsored H2B work visa valid till April 2017, my wife is the US citizen and I am the beneficiary.

So far we have filled in

    G-325a

    I-485

    I-130

    I-864

    I-693

    G-1145

With my work visa being valid still for another 6 months, should i submit the I-765 form.

While the paperwork is pending, I will still be working for my current company that as sponsored my H2B visa.
