We worry because it's our life and our future.
He has every right to be worried and nervous... as he wants to be with his wife and not have to worry everyday about the future.

Absolutely... they can deny or stop the process at any time for anyone.
They could even issue an immigration visa and deny someone upon entry to the US.

This. Yes. Religion is a personal journey and personal choice. And it scares the hell outta me that our president can dictate our future based on the nationality of our spouses and/or their religion... even when they share the same values and do the same things as everyone else. SMH.

They haven't released the exact list but I've seen many reports saying 6 or 7 countries (all Muslim majority)
Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Libya and Yemen

To be honest IMO,We should be a little more worried about the banning of any kind of visa from middle east countries then any VWP. Even if the VWP or the VWP interview program were to be taken away we can still visit just maybe less..

I feel bad for the honest ones from the middle east countries that will be affected by the suspension then the ban.

I think this article from Vox most cleanly outlines what these executive orders are going to do. He hasn't signed the Visa/Refugee ban order yet, but the text has been leaked and it is likely to be accurate. Highlights important to VisaJourney members :
Suspends entry into the United States from Iran, Sudan, Syria, Lybia, Somalia, and Yemen starting 30 days after the executive order's issuance. This will apply to all immigration and as such will include K1 and IR1/CR1 visas. People with applications from these countries will almost certainly be delayed for the foreseeable future. The Secretary of State and Director of National Intelligence will evaluate all countries to see if the provide sufficient information to vet visa applicants for terrorist risks. They will then tell Trump which countries provide insufficient evidence and at that time the country has 60 days to fix this problem. If they don't fix it within 60 days, nationals from that country will be prohibited from entering that country.

You believe in the same god.  You are also of "the Book", just like Jews.  You have a slightly more Roman pagan spin on it and the Muslims have a more desert Bedouin spin.  The fact that you seem to think you have different gods is interesting.

This isn't so much about religion or race, but rather culture as it always has been.

This is not a drill. Tomorrow, President Trump plans to sign an Executive Order banning Iranians as well as six other Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States, according to both Congressional sources as well as media reports.
It remains unclear for how long the ban will be in place. Sources tell NIAC it could range from 30 days to several months, after which a more stringent visa application process with ideological tests will be put in place.
At this point, the trajectory should be clear to all: What started with the discriminatory Visa Waiver bill H.R. 158 in late 2015 has now evolved into a blanket ban for Iranian passport holders, only to be followed by an “ideological” test that Iranians and six other nationalities - but not others - will be subjected to. And once again, Iranian are targeted while citizens of Saudi Arabia are excluded from these measures - even though Iranians have not committed acts of terror on US soil while Saudi citizens were behind both 9/11 and other Wahhabi-inspired acts of terror.

All of his proposed actions are likely legal under the INA.

I understand the need to go through the security and screening processes but if someone goes through all of those things, it shouldn't matter what country they are from. There are going to be good and bad people in every single country in the world. It's unconstitutional to discriminate like this.
