Hey guys!
So I sent my response to the RFE from SRC (they said my petition was filed late, while it wasn’t). The response is just on its way, definitely has not made it to Texas yet.
BUT! This morning I got a notification “New Card Is Being Produced”! What???!!!
I wonder if the USCIS contact center officer who I spoke to on the phone somehow helped the case? I don’t know, and I just hope this is not a mistake

I got an update about my case as well. New Card Is Being Produced!
It's been 472 days! My USCIS office is in San Francisco, so I thought I will end up waiting much longer. Great news for me! And glad to hear that cases are moving for the other folks as well!
Good luck to those still waiting!

Yes, you will be able to work.
If you don’t receive it until you green card expires book an Infopass appointment and get a stamp in your passport. Usually a stamp it’s valid for 12 months.

Yes, since you didn't send them a G1145, they will not text or email you.
Since your check has been cashed, you can call USCIS to know your case number. With the case number, you'll know which service center your packet was sent to and track the progress.

Just applied for SSN with my new EAD. It was around 1 hour and 15 mins wait in Redwood City, CA office, and about 5 mins for the officer to do his job. So I should get my SSN within 2 weeks.
They needed:
1) filled out SSN application form (you can find and prefill one online, and then print it out to bring with you)
2) my passport
3) EAD

When I talked to the officer at InfoPass appointment in September (my case updated to that status on September 6) she told that I should get back to her in the end of November if the status will not change. So, I guess, 60-90 days?
